UPDATE: Due to Service King removing more parts than needed, our repairs are going to take even longer, cost even more and we are now out of pocket $2,000+. Beware of Service King! Scam King! Were told After a minor front fender accident, we DROVE our car to Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South for repairs after being advised by our insurance company. Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South said they work with insurance companies all the time and would keep us informed. Repairs would take about 2 weeks. After 8 days without a word from Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South, we called thinking it would be almost ready. Since Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South had not heard back from the insurance company they had not made any progress. 8 days, no progress and we are paying for a rental. When asked why they didn’t reach out to the insurance company or why we weren’t notified, they replied it was not their job. We were told Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South would not take direction from us, only the insurance company. With no progress made, paying for a rental car and feeling misguided, we decided to take our car. Since we DROVE it in, we would DRIVE it out. When we told Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South we were taking our car, they told us it was undrivable. It seems Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South stripped more than was necessary to exaggerate the damage to bump up the original quote, to receive more from the insurance company. When asked if they were going to be make it drivable, Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South said they don’t put parts back on cars. Feeling concerned, we arranged for a tow truck to move it and incur additional expenses. Now all of a sudden Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South came up with a charge of $178.92 to get our keys returned. Using our car as leverage and holding it against us, we asked for paperwork or backup and were denied the request (receipt was not itemized). We were shocked to find our car sitting outside in the remotest part of their field, farthest away from the facility. It rains almost every day and only plastic covered the missing driver’s side window. We found the stripped, dirty parts of the car, thrown inside and a window was missing. How we found the car made no sense to the minor fender damage as we DROVE the car in. Service King Collision Repair of Orlando South provided non-existent communication, unprofessionalism, total disregard for our property and lack of respect for our car. This experience has left us feeling scammed. All for $178.92.

I had my first ever car accident and the entire passenger side of my Malibu was torn up. I had no idea what to expect for the repair process. My insurance company picked Service King on the OBT to have my car towed too and I am so thankful that they did! I received regular updates, almost daily from Michelle and Clayton, about my cars progress and they had all repairs completed and my car keys back in my hand 3 weeks ahead of schedule!!! Pick up was a breeze and all the work they did has a lifetime guarantee. The car looks better now than before the accident even happened. Thank you so much to everyone at Service King Collision Repair for making a disaster of a situation such a positive experience!!

I recently had my Tesla model 3 worked on and there workmanship and quality of work was excellent and the people working there from the manager Michell to Venesa where amazing and go out of there way to make you satisfied. There time line of the repaired was only restricted by awaiting parts from Tesla which is out of there hands but once they got the parts in I was amazed how quickly the repaired where done. Excellent Thank you guys.

Vice Market President Cabe Terrell is a dishonest/ unethical person. I had recently moved to Florida to be closer to family and inquired about a job at a local Service King. Speaking to the manager I realized this wasnt on the dealer level shops I was used to but would be willing to try. However, during the interview I learned that Cabe Terrell was the top management guy in Florida. At that point I thanked the manager for his time and left. He used to work at Crest Auto Group Collision Center in Plano, TX under Patrick Kuntz as the Assistant Manager (they both worked previously at Sewell in Dallas, TX) as did I. During my time there I witnessed many unethical acts and wrongdoings by that management team. I saw them return vehicles to customers without completing the paid for repairs, remove parts from other customers cars to put on other cars because of a customer complaint. They had a high turnover rate due to mismanagement of personnel. I had a casual conversation with Cabe once where he casually used the N word in reference to a new young hire Charles. Claiming he was just there for diversity and to save face. A former Black employee Caesar actually sued the dealership for racial discrimination because of an incident where he was terminated but the non Black employee was not. This prompted everyone at the dealership to have to sign a Arbitration Agreement, stating they wouldnt sue in court in case of a dispute. He also discriminated against that young employee Charles by giving information to everyone in the paint shop except him then calling a meeting in an attempt to humiliate him by making him to be the culprit in production delays. Charles defended himself because he wasnt aware of the information and rejected the managers attempt to rectify the misunderstanding and quit. He was the Assistant Manager in December 2003 when many of the employees were terminated due to immigration status. In 2006 when he was involved with a new body shop First Service Collision in Carrollton, TX which is now closed, as the Manager he knowingly hired some of those employees who were terminated to work for him illegally. Two of which Jesus and Jose I later ran into at other shops after Cabes shop went out of business. Now he has apparently worked his way up the chain with Service King and is at the executive level for Florida. I was relatively young at my time at Crest Auto Group and would have quit working there much sooner had I been mature as I am now which led me to leave the interview. I find it as a poor decision making and low moral standards that Service King would hire let alone promote someone with this type of history at the management level. He frequently bullied employees when he thought he could, forcing them to do unpaid work or he would steer the work to someone weaker and wrote poor estimates to the appeasement of insurance companies. This along with clear disregard for laws and customers alike reflects poorly on Service King and their ability to properly research and vet key personnel within their company. This isnt fraudulent or biased content, but verifiable information. I wrote this to inform the public of the type of person/ people making decisions on repairing the vehicles they use to transport their families in and to be cautious of those who are entrusted with this responsibility.

Tesla owners beware! I brought my car in on 8/18/17 after being hit on the right side and was told since its a Tesla, it could take longer for parts and thus a six to eight-week repair time. I was completely fine with that. At the eight-week mark, I had to call and see if it would be ready, to which I was laughed at and told, You might not want to return your rental yet. At that point, my husband and I stopped in to see the progress and thats when we met Dave, the manager, who not only was completely annoyed that we stopped by, but unprofessionally told us come on back without any type of introduction or even a hello; thus began a continuing nightmare. Not once did Dave pick up the phone to tell us about any type of delay or when we can expect the car to be ready. I had to reach out each time (and I did it via email because calls werent returned). Four (4) months later when I was told it was ready, I suggested Tesla take a look at it and inspect it prior to pick up, and was then informed it wasnt up to Tesla standards and was sent back to the shop.I now have an appointment with Tesla for a nonstop creeking sound coming from the windshield and an egregious welding/painting job by the trunk (see below picture). I mean, they only had four-plus months to get it right?!The only reason I gave this a two star instead of a one is because Chris, the employee who on-boarded us; the receptionist Brittany; and Jared, a newer employee who was there when I picked up the car, were quite the opposite of Dave and were very polite, professional and accommodating. I also received a follow-up phone call from a regional manager when he learned of my dissatisfaction, which I very much appreciated.I feel like Service King has the potential, they just need to put the right people in the appropriate positions who know how to communicate and know the definition of customer service!

Originally, I had given this establishment a poor review, the reason Im changing it is, because I was contacted my the Manager Michelle. She asked me to give them a second chance to redeem themselves. I did go back to Service King South, and Im completely satisfied at the job that was done on my 2019 Mustang Bullitt. Thank You for everyone for stepping up, and getting the job done right, especially JR., who corrected what was done poorly.

Pathetic customer service. My wife spent 2 hours at an offsite rental facility and eventually had to pay a rental bill for $300+ on her account 3000 miles from the service location because Service King didn’t pay for the bill they were responsible for. Bill was received by service king 4 months prior. Clayton has no customer service skills and this group is pathetic. Will never use them again.

UPDATEIt’s been a few months after I got my car back from Service King (the roof had to be replaced due to a tree falling on it). Now when it rains, water seeps into my car through all of the frame connections! This is unacceptable. I had to go to yet another body shop to get this fixedMy experience with this place started pleasantly enough. The staff was polite and eager to help me with my situation. However, I brought my car in on October 8th 2017, and it is finally getting finished January 30th 2018. Needless to say my experience at this service king has be awful. After receiving various youre turn in date has been delayed notifications and Service King having me come in to various appointments and my car still not being completed, I decided to speak with the manager, Dave. Upon asking him about these delays I was yelled at (yes, yelled at) and had none of my concerns addressed. He was extremely disrespectful, especially when my cars due date had been delayed for various weeks and all I wanted was an explanation. Fast forward a few weeks and my car was supposedly completed again and I was to come pick it up. This is where the truly horrible experience began. Upon receiving my car it came back with new damages that were not previously there; my windshield had a new, significant scratch on it, my front driver seat was burnt (yes burnt!), the items that were in my car were misplaced and LOST (I never received my personal items bak), I had belongings from some other client in my trunk, and the car was returned to me with interior lights not working. Service King was quick to SAY that these repairs would get done, but months have passed and this whole ordeal is just finally getting finished. I was told various times that parts were on back order, which I understand. However what I dont understand is why I was called in multiple times, had various appointments scheduled for me to get the work done, and each time I came in, I left with work not getting done, having to leave with a rental, or my car being returned to me partially completed. I left with an unfinished car various times when promised that the work would be completed. Then, on my supposedly last appointment, when I was told to come in at a certain time, I was told that the staff necessary to carry out the work was unavailable. WHY MAKE APPOINTMENTS WITH ME WHEN THE WORK CANT BE COMPLETED (AGAIN!?)?This happened too many times so I called my insurance company to file a complaint and when SK was contacted, they promptly lied to them and said that I was on my way too late to arrive for the appointment on time (my car was being brought over at 12 for a 1:30 appointment and they lied to USAA and said it was on its way over at 3:00pm)I will never understand why I had to come in all these times and follow up a million times to know when parts were in, when work could get done, etc etc. The trip to SK is not a short one from where I live and I initially had to take multiple days off work to wait at SK when I was called in to supposedly get work done on my car and various times ended up leaving with a rental because my car could never get finished. This company does NOT care about its clients or the work they put into their cars. To top all of this off, this morning I was waiting for my seat cover to finally be put in (a job that was supposed to take 30-60min) I spent two hours there waiting for that to get done and that was WITH having made and confirmed an appointment.Overall, when work finally gets done on your car, the materials seem decent enough, but save yourself all the headaches and horrible customer service and go anywhere else can also do a decent enough job and not stress you out as much as this place did to me. I wouldnt send my worst enemy here.Side note- no compensation was ever offered for the many times I had to drive over there to then have work on my car not completed. However, I WAS offered (bribed) a $50 gas gift card for a 5 star review when work still wasnt completed on my car. Save yourself the headache and go ANYWHERE else.
