Jay at this location is awesome. He answered all my questions no matter how simple they were. Offered solutions to my issues as well.He ran down all of my wants for a new gaming headset and hit the nail on the head. I walked out with exactly what I was looking for.He seemingly knew exactly what type of gamer I was just by speaking with me. Having someone being actually talented and that good at their job in a modern retail setting is truly a breath of fresh air.GameStop go hire about 4,000 Jays and you’ll be back the glory days.

Last week, I took my 13 year old to Best Buy so he could spend his hard earned snow shoveling earnings. They didn’t have the product he wanted and the Best Buy worker told me to try across the parking lot at Game Stop. (I appreciate the Best Buy worker’s integrity.) At Game Stop, my son was able to find the controller he wanted at a better price and the employee took the time the explain the controllers features and the return policy if he needed it. Considering how busy the store was, I was really impressed the personal attention given to a teenager.

I like my local store. Staff is friendly. Good selection of used games.

This store is a joke when it comes to customer service. I called over a dozen times though out the day to try to confirm that if a game I had ordered had been shipped to this location yet. Ended up having to call another GameStop to get help and to find out that it was indeed shipped. Why I didn’t receive a email or call that it had arrived should have been a given since other GameStops I have worked with in the past have done this. But clearly my expectations are to high for this location if that can’t even pick up the dang telephone. Word of advice avoid this location you will get better service and treatment at other locations.

Thankfully ThinkGeeks closing didnt affect the stores inventory too much, outside of less statues. I was still able to check out and pre-order some items with ease. Still a great Gamestop location to go to!

Called to see if they had a specific figure. The guy was not very helpful and was dismissive. I tried to figure out what the best way to go about getting this figure was since it was a pre-order only and he just says “anyway I got customers in the store, gotta go bye!” So much for getting the info I need. Hi All I have a very good heart felt review to leave. This can not go unnoticed! Today was a very bad bad for me. My kids are climbing the walls, all the stores are closed and I can’t entertain ANYMORE! I spent over 2 hours trying to get an online order to go through. No luck and completely frustrated called Orland Park GameStop. The man answered the phone and was more than helpful he was a life saver! His patients and costumer Service was above and beyond. Of course I did not get his name, but I hope this review finds someone so that this amazing employee can be seen as the great worker he is! Waited in line for the store to open, I was the first one in the store, the store manager didn’t ask me if I needed help at all basically ignored me .. I am handicapped and have a hard time walking .. I was there to buy my daughter a birthday present instead I wound up leaving because I couldn’t find what I was looking for because I had no assistance... I have shopped there many times in the past and always was greeted by the previous manager and was asked if I needed any assistance instead of ignored ..Will never shop there again.Monday August 17, 2020 - 12:00pm

Just called to check on the availability/price of a game. They were asking $35 for a game thats been out for over 2 years. I thought that was a bit much so the douchebag just decided to hang up on me. Everyone else there has always been super nice and helpful. Ill be going somewhere else from now on. Such a shame. :/

Literally in the store twice a week, Russell is one of the workers I always see and had by far the best communication and customer service skills Ive seen. I highly recommend if your a parent that wants to get a gift for a family member or child this is the place to go.

The employees are nice and help you out. It was kind of cluttered with things that werent even about games, such as squishies that arent even video game themes, but versatility wins the day. Though smaller than others Ive been too they have some nice items I couldnt find anywhere else.

This gamestop is the worst by far, I called about their minty promotion for Fortnite and they laughed at me, and everytime I call this location they never answer the phone, there are plenty of gamestops near this one, so I reccomended driving to another one instead of this one.

Still the same GameStop as Orland square Mall. Please just close the doors permanently. Csrs are more on their phones then they have knowledge about games. PlayStation is cool dude, master chief looks good on 4K on the PlayStation. You morons should know PlayStation doesn’t have halo and since when did pos4 have 4K ? I sometimes look for old games and GS seems to clean old games out. Great advice . Poor pc game selection.

Hands down the best GameStop for Funko Pops in Illinois! If you need pristine mint in box, this is the place. Dont worry about pre-order anxiety as they take care of the POPs as if, and I quote, the pops themselves are made of uranium. The staff there are very friendly and funny at times. Talk to Russell If available as hes the I guess you can call him ringleader of the POPs. LOL

This GameStop is like any other GameStop youll find but what makes it different is the workers trying to ask me to buy something all the time. I want to go buy a game and Ill only have cash I brought just for that specific game and when I get there youll see the cashier trying to convince me to buy something I dont want and waste my time too. First its the dlc by talking about it without asking if Im interested in hearing about it and in my head I already know what it is and Im mentally preparing to say the awkward no thank you. Then they try to get me with the annoying so you bought this game well without asking if youre even interested let me tell you how you can buy this game with money you probably dont even have and when they tell me all about that game I have to say no thank you to that either. And whats worse is that they still dont get the hint that I just want my game so they keep asking. They ask if I want this add on like a controller, a poster, a book, or vc points for my 2k game to help me in the game or to have as a collectible, and when that doesnt work they ask me if I want a protection plan on my disc in case anything happens to it and by that point I just feel pressured and want to leave and never go to that GameStop again. Whoever is making the employees play 20 questions with us needs to tell them to stop doing it because I dont feel comfortable having to say no to that employee who was talking for 10 minutes about something I cant afford and was never interested in
