The hot pastrami is an A+. Local gem. Order at the deli, take your slip, go through the mart, pick up some chips, a drink or something else. Go to the mart cashier and pay. The cashier will stamp your slip. Keep it. Wait for your order to be called out, drop you slip in the basket and get you amazing sandwich. Old school place visited by the locals. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered a sandwich with no mustard no tomatoes with cheddar cheese.. the sandwich came with mustard tomatoes and no cheese.. I understand we make mistakes. So I called them to remake the sandwich is the sandwich she said the deli just closed post it was 3 minutes past closing. She said to come back tomorrow with the sandwich and we can remake it what a joke I will never be back again

L&M Deli is awesome. They have the best pastrami & tri-tip sandwiches ever! Service is fast & friendly, just like a family-owned business should be. They really care about their customers experience and making them happy. Also I loved the atmosphere in that place, very interesting and eclectic, my children loved it! Good prices on most everything I have purchased there, I highly recommend this deli.

Ive NEVER liked pastrami sandwiches EVER in my life. Or pastrami, in general, for that matter. Then I had the hot pastrami here. I am sold! Youll never go anywhere else. Do your taste buds a favor and visit L&M for a great sandwich. They all excellent!Ill be a regular here for sure.

Another long-time Orangevale legend here. Grab a great Sammy, buy a motorcycle, watch a game, chat for hours with the staff (theyre that good), buy some alcohol, whatever. Same owner for over 30 yrs and if youre local, L&M is just historical. Great service. Crazy good pricing on food and liquor. 30% cheaper than all other liquor stores. Locally owned. A+++

There is a deli inside the convenience/liquor store. They have the best sandwiches! Delicious bread, fresh ingredients, big sized sandwiches. And they serve pickle and pepperoncinis with your sandwich. You can eat there or take it to go. They have a small dining area. Super friendly staff.

I had high praise for this place over the years but all of a sudden the service took a turn for the worst, during the day at least. Literally children are making sandwiches and they giggle and play dumb when theres a customer

Best sandwiches in OV for so many years!

I was refused service at 4:31 pm today. The last time that I went in there I asked what time they closed, I was told 5pm. I’m a repeat customer and they were still making subs for a customer. To add insult to injury they told me they’d be happy to make me a sandwich tomorrow. Well you just lost my buissness!

If you havent had the smoked tri-tip on Saturdays, youre missing out! Gotta love Lupe, too! Very unsuspecting place, found them by word of mouth, glad I did!
