I am late in posting this but, we want to express our appreciation of Inside Sales Rep, Tricia Bailey, We had a major snafu with glass ordered for a shelving system. Although she had not been the one involved in the original order, Tricia was very professional and handled the situation quickly and was extremely kind. We understand mistakes can be made. Thankfully Glass Doctor is an upstanding company and we are more than satisfied with the outcome. Tricia is golden asset to your company and because of her, we plan to do business with Glass Doctor again.

Appointment made within one day of calling them which I appreciated because if did not want chip in car windshield to get worse.They did have a bit of trouble locating my appointment on their computer so there was some wait time before they began (we took the car to them)

Attempted break-in left my side truck window cracked and slowly spreading overnight. Visited Glass Doctor for a quick estimate. Was able to walk-in, get an estimate and have a repair scheduled the next day. Staff was courteous and helpful. On installation day, the entire process took a total of 45 minutes. I thankfully found Glass Doctor of Omaha on my worst morning so far in 2021 - within an hour of discovering my garage had been broken into and my drivers side window had been smashed.After attempting to contact Safelite and feeling immediately frustrated and defeated by running into their automated phone system informing me about their online-only scheduling platform that afforded me absolutely no option to speak with a real person in a difficult, scary, and complicated situation, I hung up and called Glass Doctor instead. Within 2 rings, I was speaking with Tricia (sp?) who heard my story and immediately located the replacement window for my vehicle in her warehouses, scheduled me for the same day, and without prompting made sure I knew they would handle cleaning up the broken glass in my car.Ultimately, in an extremely vulnerable moment when I was feeling violated and defeated, they charged me LESS THAN what was quoted in my original call - which was already a reasonable price - and solved what felt like an overwhelming issue within hours.After the fact, I had one concern with the new windows extra features, and when I called to ask about it Tricia offered to get me in immediately to have it looked at. When I brought it in a few days later at my convenience - after no-call/no-showing my original time and being rescheduled without condescension or judgement - the tech had it fixed in moments, with a pleasant demeanor and kind smile.Glass Doctor Omaha has my business indefinitely and I already recommend to others without prompting because I am so grateful for the high-caliber service I received at my lowest moment.

Had a trip where I had my windshield smashed on the highway by debris from another vehicle. When I got back I scheduled an appointment to have it replaced. It rained that morning and the appointment was delayed but they called me to let me know the guy was running a couple hours late. The gentleman who arrived was excellent and talked to him while he finished the job. This was the most inexpensive place for my windshield and I was very pleased with the service.

Glass doctor is wonderful! They quoted me the lowest amount for my glass shower walls, they were professional with the install they made sure they took their shoes off before entering my house, they installed it perfectly and it is great quality and looks so beautiful! I would recommend them to everyone!!

I contacted them to replace a shattered exterior window on my house. The whole process was extremely easy and quick, plus the price was very fair. The cleanup could have been a bit more thorough, but overall I would highly recommend them.

We had glass doctor come to our home for a bid to fix 2 cracked windows and move a windows pane that had a dryer vent. They said they would get it over in a few days. I called 2 weeks later to follow up and they said they would check on it and get it over to us in a couple days. I called again 2 weeks later and they said the same thing. Then I got a message from the guy who came over who just said we can’t do that. It took 5 weeks for them to say we can’t get it done.

Had a windshield replaced. Very reasonably priced and customer service was top notch. They even went dumpster diving to retrieve my car wash sticker that was still attached to my old windshield! Highly recommend.

Quick turnover from ordering our window to being put in- cleaned everything when done and he was very fast! Staff is al very nice and professional! Have used them twice to replace windows in my home.

Geez, even the restroom in this place was disgusting. Poor communication, not responsive at all. Wouldnt offer any help.Total waste of time. I have been a longtime customer of glass doctors in Washington State, Kansas City, and Milwaukee and this place flat out misses the mark.

They fixed it fast and made one big chip completely disappear. I did go back the second time to do another one, good service and repair. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I had a rock chip in my windshield and I did not want it to spread. A friend recommended Glass Doctor. I stopped by and the service was very friendly, the cost and warranty were explained well, and my windshield on my Silverado looks GREAT! I highly recommend Glass Doctor!

We had several good choices to have our windshield replaced. Unfortunately, we selected Glass Doctor. The outside windshield frame edge wasnt properly sealed, and the roof beam cover not snapped in place properly. Had to make an appointment (!) to take it back. They xid put the frame edge back in place, but told us the Roof pillar was just showing the window was off center, within an INCH of normal specs. An inch off center isnt acceptable to me and they didnt care. This customer isnt right apparently. I still believe the pillar cover was improperly installed but will need to make an appointment elsewhere to check it out.If you want your windshield replaced in one appointment and have a customer friendly experience, DO NOT CHOOSE Glass Doctor.I will post a photo later of the acceptable standards of Glass Doctor.

I have been here before. Received good service then to replace my windshield. This time they repaired a chip without an appointment getting me in right away. I even got a cup of coffee while I waited. They are courteous, friendly, and they know what they are doing. I came back and I will come back again.

Be aware they charge a non-refundable deposit for an appointment. At the time the tech took our credit card information he did not state it was non-refundable. They claimed it was on the receipt but you do not receive the receipt until afterwards. Poor customer service.

Although we originally had some miscommunication on the project, Glass Doctor did everything they could to make it right and to ensure my satisfaction. They will be the first place I call anytime I have a glass project. Great job!

Installed properly, and showed up quick, but wasnt cleaned after, I found out Id been overcharged, and the glass was scratched post install. (One piece of glass was the only job)

A bad experience. We have two large window we wanted replaced. One company came and because there was furniture, etc. in front of the window he thought it best that he measure the window on the outside. Done. Mike from Glass Doctor came later and I suggested it be best if he measured on the outside. He insisted that it had to be measured on the inside. In an instant, he pull out his tape measure and knocked over a porcelain figure worth $80. An estimate for the window replacement was left. I then received a call inquiring if I was going forward with the project. I told them that I would not for two reasons. First I did not think much of Mike and the quote I got was for one window and if I doubled that the cost would be $900 more than the previous bid. I received an e-mail telling me that the quote was for 2 windows. I had several people look at the bid and it clearly stated Qty-1. So I thought if that was the case I would reconsider and have them do the job. I was then encouraged to have the other company do the project since Mike would be the one doing the job. I find that hard to comprehend that they only have one appraiser/ installer since there is another branch of the company in Council Bluffs. I was also told that I would not be receiving payment for the figurine that was destroyed. I was told that it my responsibility to clear the work area. Had I been told so and given a chance I certainly would have. I suggested this was no different to breaking an item in a store. The store has every right to get paid. Incidentally, I suggested to both the Omaha and Council Bluffs offices to send me any comments that they would have and that I would include them in this review. After ample time, I have had no response.

I had a problem with electronics in my vehicle related to a leaking front windshield. This company knew EXACTLY what the problem was and removed and replaced the windshield and took the time to show me where it was leaking and explained how they were going to fix it. They really did an excellent job and the entire staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I will certainly be recommending them to my friends.

Mike Yenney is awesome! We had an in-door dog door placed, for which Mike (their glass specialist) came out and measured before we ordered and then installed for us once it was at our house. He was always professional, cleaned up after himself, and was very helpful throughout the process. We would definitely use them again for our glass needs!

Amazing company! I dont typically write reviews but this company has done it again! I have had almost 7 windshields replaced her on several different vehicles and I have had only 1 issue with these guys and even then the fixed it no questions asked. On top of that these guys have always been competitive price wise! Seriously though tell them your lowest price and theyll let you know straight up if they can beat it or not.

This has been one of the worst displays of customer service ive seen in a very long time. My experience with Omaha Glass Doctor Franchise location to their Corporate Office, was a disgrace.Was originally to have my car window repaired on Wed. 11/27. Glass Doctor called me on Wednesday to let me know they had an internal issue with getting my replacement window and that my repair would need to be rescheduled for Friday 11/29 or 30th - dependent on them resolving their internal issue of getting the replacement window.11/29 rolls around, and I get another follow up call to inform me that my appointment will need to be rescheduled again - 12/4 between 1p - 4p. Alternatively if I wanted the repair sooner I could spend an extra $125. Thats right, to fix a logistics issue for Glass Doctor - id need to pay extra.From a customer satisfaction perspective, and the fact theyve rescheduled on me twice at this point, this $125 option shouldve been one that Glass Doctor paid for to expedite getting my issue resolved given the issues to this point.I expressed this concern and I was not willing to pay for a Glass Doctor issue and so I was scheduled for the window repair a third time on 12/4 again between 1p - 4p.12/4 comes, I get a call in the morning informing me that they service technician will be out to perform the repair at 10a. Make schedule adjustments, calling in to work to accommodate getting the window repaired, and the technician doesnt show for the morning, but shows up eventually for the afternoon time slot to repair the window.Great job repairing the window, but leaves broken glass in the drive way for me to clean up.I call Glass Doctor of Omaha to speak to a manager or supervisor regarding my terrible experience, but no return call. I also called Glass Doctors corporate office left a message with a Manager of this region, but like their Franchise location, no return call from them either.From start to finish, this was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone for any repairs.

If you only need one window in your house replaced, Glass Doctor is not the company to go with. I called for a quote for one window. A salesman came out on a Friday and said his estimate would be about $500 to replace but he would call back with a quote on Wednesday. I never heard from him. I called back a week after he was supposed to get back to me and left a message. He called and left me a voicemail that he forgot about it, but the quote was $1517 for one window. I called him and got his voicemail. I left a voicemail stating that was quite a bit more than we had originally discussed and he never called back. Im assuming he works on commission and a $500 window wasnt worth his time. Terrible customer service. Even if I needed all the windows in my house replaced, I wouldnt use Glass Doctor after this experience.

Someone smashed my passenger window in my car and these folks at Glass Doctor had a new window shipped then installed the next day, and over $100 cheaper than the other local options. They worked fast and were super friendly. If I am ever in need of glass work again, Ill be coming back.

Very nice building professional setting and quality windshield install

I took my husbands 1998 Chevy Tahoe to have the windshield replaced in November 2015 for part of his Christmas gift. I was told prior to the apt. that it would take a maximum of 2.5 hours total. I waited for 3.5 hours for the windshield to be replaced. When they were finished, I took the truck back to my husband for him to inspect it. The windshield was off centered, the seal was not done correctly, there were small cracks in the dash, and they cut the wires to his rear view mirror, which resulted in the temperature and direction not working anymore. We called and asked for them to come out and fix it, as they do mobile work as well. They refused to come out and fix it and we had to take it back to them. We took it back and they argued that everything was fine regarding how the windshield was positioned and the seal. They advised that the cracks in the dashboard were there before they touched the dash. They admitted to cutting the wires in the mirror, and apparently they just hoped we wouldnt notice. They told us that we would have to bring it back yet again to have the mirror replaced as they didnt have a the parts to do it that day. We took it back a few days later and they replaced the mirror During this whole time, they never apologized and never offered any money off. Due to the seal not being done properly, the windshield is cracked again. While the windshield is under warranty and Glass Doctor would likely fix it for free, we are using another service as we dont feel like dealing with their horrible work and their even worse customer service. We would not recommend this place to anyone ever again, which is sad because my husband is in the construction and remodeling field and used to use them for a lot of glass work.

If you want a smooth hassle free experience I suggest making an appointment. I gave Glass Pro a good rating and wish I could change it. Yes, Glass Pro is cheaper than this place, but you defenetly get what you pay for.

I had a back window put in my truck and they never ever did fix the leak and it took them a week and a half to fix the leak after they put the window in and it still leaks Im going to have to fix it take a Safelite glass and have it fixed

Edited: Had an issue with service the first time I visited a few weeks back. I had initially left a bad review based on my service that day. Afterwards I received a call from the Manager Matt, who apologized for the previous issue I had, and offered to send someone to my place of employment to fix the rock chip in my windshield the next day. I agreed to give them another chance and am very happy I did. They showed up earlier than expected, and they did a great job. A very personable technician showed up and did a fantastic job fixing my windshield. I would highly recommend The Glass Doctor and am very appreciative of the way they handled me as a customer with a previous bad experience.

Came here because of my insurance company. I dont reccomend coming here, I had to come because the refused to complete the full job without me having to contact my insurance company again. The work ethic is terrible when I got my car back from they had left grease stain all over my overhead lining and broke clips holding my visor. Very poor workmanship.

Extremely overpriced. Had two windows that needed fixed that were the same size and both just needed a new piece of glass and glazing. One was easily removable and the other wasnt. I took the removable one to Ace Hardware and they fixed it for $30. The other window you guys charged $263 to do. Obviously your repair was going to be more than $30 but $263 is absurd to replace one piece of 24x28 glass. The glazing on the window that you guys did was also very sloppy.

Glass Doctor was responsive in scheduling, efficient in finding a solution, and budget friendly in repairing glass in a Pella window with interior blinds. I was not satisfied with the bid from Pella nor was I able to get a different window repair company to try to repair. Thank you Glass Doctor for your quality services and integrity.

Had an appt to get a car window replacement for a week. Showed up right at 8am and dropped the car off. They told us it would be about two hours. We drove around Omaha killing time and showed back up around 9:45 just to chill in the parking lot until it’s done.We pulled in the parking lot and our car was still sitting there with no new window. My husband went inside and he was told that the supervisor had sent our window back and they apparently didn’t know.First of all, why? We’ve had the appt for a week.Second, no one could have called us to let us know this so we didn’t drive all over Omaha instead of going home? I’m pissed.
