If I could rate Zero stars I would. I came to Joann’s today for two notions (spring loaded plastic cord keepers for masks 😷)-TWICE. I went around 12:20p & around 2:30p. The first time the checkout line was at least 20 customers deep, so I left. The second time, it was easily twice that practically all the way back to the cutting counter. I asked politely at customer srvs if there was some special event today, and why the line was so long, she replied no & went back to chatting w/ the older lady checking out; I asked “where is the rest of your staff?” And she said snottily “everyone register trained is up here” so I exclaimed that I only need 2 things, and I’ve worked in retail & food service & this is insane, when you have this many people waiting you don’t need to be Chatty Cathy’s- you get your line down and left a second time. This was ridiculous. Especially if you’re understaffed which is everyone’s excuse during covid, you should get people out AFAP. NO ONE in line was social distancing and that is legally mandated right now. This was a public health hazard and absolutely unacceptable on every level. Checkout is always a nightmare there and they need to do better. Especially when it’s risking the health and safety of their customers.

Im used to JoAnns being disorganized and having to wait in long lines, but today was the worse. I was waiting in line for my fabric to be cut; they called my number, but before I could literally go the five steps from the patterns to the cutting area, they went on to the next number. I said, Im right here, but neither of the two workers cutting fabric so much as looked at me. I asked if they would take me after they finished with their current customers, and still absolutely no response--not a nod, no eye-contact, nothing. Before that I spent 30 minutes choosing a pattern only to find the pattern drawer I needed was broken with a sign saying it was out of order; another customer said it had been that way for a month.

If you have artistic ability this is a store for you they pretty much have everything that youll probably need to start a project very friendly I appreciate them having the things that I needed because Ive been to other major stores the try Jo-Ann Fabrics before you go anywhere else

The fabric cutter was not a bit friendly. If you are going to work with the the public you need to be friendly. The cashier was about the same.

Previous experience with this store has been good. On my last visit to purchase fabric, there was a woman working the fabric section named Trish. We had a question and she was so rude with her answer - as if we were in her way. When it was time to cut the fabric, she proceeded to slam the bolts and scissors around, clearly upset by something. Any small amount of remaining fabric was just tossed aside - instead of asking if I’d like to purchase it. Not sure if she needed a break or a snickers but she was awful. The cashier, however, was nice and the only reason I gave two stars.

While I would have normally rated this store a 3 star let me explain. I do a agree with the 1 start post that was given a few weeks ago, I cant bet the fact that this Joanns always finds you a deal. I love the customer service here. Exchange process is amazing and they have the same stuff that any other joanna has in store. I would say that keep in mind this store is great for finding small treasures.This store just needs a face lift

The store was so thinned out and disorganized I thought for sure it was going out of business. There were sale tags on a bunch of empty shelves so I was like, I might as well take advantage of this opportunity and get some things. I was wrong. I told the cashier that my app wasn’t working and asked for a store coupon and they said “you can pull it up online…” and there were like 20 people in line behind me and my cell reception was obviously poor. This place is understaffed and a real cesspool. The part that made me write this review was that I bought rhinestones for a project and they were all scuffed up and bad looking. There were only a few to a bag, and were $5 each… I’ve already opened all the packaging and eaten the receipt so I feel like I can’t return the stuff, non of which was on sale. Anyways, I HATE YOU JOANN FABRICS, THAT WAS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE.

I dont feel safe at this Joann store. I have seen too many activists yelling at customers here. The activists are customers too, but are driving away everyone else. Even if you agree with the activist, it is unnerving to witness. There are other stores I can shop at that are more orderly.

A lot of their shelves are empty. Supply issues. Clerks were helpful and apologetic.

Absolutely just love going to this Place which I do far more often than I probably should but how can I resist my main focus when going to Joanns is their huge selection of yarn and knitting and crochet items and books but I do various other Hobbies as well and Joanns has it all there literally is nothing you cant find there if you have a hobby related item that you need or something thats not usually found in other places go to Jo-Anns I guarantee theyre going to have it if they dont they are going to get it for you and if they cant theyre going to tell you where you can get it this particular Joanns has great Staffing and employees very helpful very nice always polite they dont follow you around the store as if youre the biggest Thief theyve ever laid eyes on like Michaels employees do. I cant stand that!!! So, 5 Stars, ive never had a bad experience here plus their yarn selection is to die for! They always have a sale going on or coupons that you can get for signing up for the mailing list or being a member which of course I am..

If the employee at the fabric cutting table would have brought her manners to work the day we went, it would have been a better trip.

It always seems like they dont have enough product when Im there, Ive been there 3 times and their bathrooms were out of service with water all over the floor and rats. The people at the cash registers were nice and the line was decent but its sad to see the store in such a dissaray. also their coupons always seem to be for when they are already having a huge sale...

When I called the associate whom I spoke with gave me the exact information which I needed. I went in and found just what I wanted to purchase, plus the cashier told me how to receive discounts.🤩

Shelves abit empty but staff are very helpful and know where their products are located, going out of their way to help you.

Wife went in couple of weeks ago got over charged. She also ordered fabric on line, one was in 2 pieces. She cant use it. She needed only the 1 piece. Turns out she cant make the out fit she was going to make. No refund. She has bought a ton of stuff from you. Now she will be going else where. You need to get more help, the checkers are under a lot of pressure.

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was at this location. I needed some fabric to work on a nursery project for my soon to be sons room. They helped me plan out my project and get all the supplies to finish the project. The cashier was amazing. She let me stack coupons that other craft stores in the area wouldnt even consider.

Always has something new!! The yarn is awesome and the fabric is mind boggling. They carry something for a good number of hobbyist. Love Joanns

A few of the staff are great! The rest? Not so much. They are rude, and unprofessional. Customer service is not their thing. Like I said there are a few that are great but unfortunately, they are taking up the slack off the ones that are terrible. The managers try to fix things but it is so much work to fix all the issues. Their material supply is stunted and they dont carry a lot of things needed by crafters. Sometimes, you are better off with Amazon Prime, unless you need it right now. But like I said, it would be hit or miss. Also, the order online to pick up in store is impossible to use.

The fumes are ROUGH. Their novelty sock collection is wonderful; their staff are super cool.The LOUD BEEPING on the debit machine made me think my eardrums were bleeding! Cant they disable the noises?!?!?!

Nice store, but these people are overworked.The company needs to spend more money on labor.Your employees are silently suffering.

I really like the coupons and online discounts. But lately, the stock has been lacking. There are empty racks where most of the fabric should be. I do realize that its not the employees fault. The employees are always so helpful. I really like the people at the cutting table. They always take extra care with cutting my fabric. Also, its really easy-when Ive been to find someone to help me locate something that I have a hard time finding.

People are not wearing masks. Stood in line for an hour, which is fine the staff was clearly busy, but multiple people in line were not wearing masks. I asked a staff member if she coupd ask people to wear masks. She said yes but 20 minutes later it was still unaddressed. Just trying to find safe places to shop for material needed for a small business.

Joannes has a nice selection of yarn colors. I think more so than Michaels.

Well stocked with lots of different craft supplies. Best place to get fabric. It is better to come in on off peak hours if you want fabric cut to length as the cut station can sometimes get overwhelmed. Not their fault, just a lot of customers sometimes.

Great educational childrens variety of items to be creative. We preferred and purchased at Joanns, after checking with other popular chain stores.

Its a good craft store for nearly anything. Has good sales frequently. And most staff is Friendly & helpful... although a couple need to brush up on their customer service skills. 😊

Good selection of what most people want. Wish they carried the tools for making your own patterns. Unlike most crafters, I like making my own ideas more than following patterns.

This is the 1st time Ive been to this particular store and I will come back again. I like the location because its near a lot of my favourite stores that I like to shop at. This store was pretty clean and pretty well stocked with merchandise. The associates were friendly, helpful and courteous👍😊

Did not have what I was looking for of course it is 4 days before Christmas. Got out in good time small line to register. Six feet apart and masks on.

Customer service is amazing! Better than the Tacoma store. Order stuff online and it was completed fast. The lines do get long here, every time I’ve been through the checkout, they’ve been pretty fast. You’re not waiting too long.

Walked up to two separate checkouts and they shut off the light and said they were closed. Stood by another checkout and three employees ignored me two walked off. So I set my 1 item down in front of the last employee and walked off as she says oh they can help you down on 4 ... I will never go back...

Great customer service and very helpful staff. A young lady named Kristen was very helpful even if they ran out of my usual epoxy resin. I did find this however... not photoshopped. I didnt know what to say... One of their sources let this one slip through the cracks. 🤔

A little off the path, we were driving from the coast to Seattle. Christmas decorations were plenty but zipper foot and NFL wasnt stocked. Excellent customer service and coupon deals.

Ive been shopping at the store for several years I finally decided to have them start cutting my hair wraps and things are going great for months and all of a sudden they no longer are willing to cut my hair wraps isnt that something A paying customer and they just lost one. I even walked in the store wearing a hair wrap that they cut and they refuse to cut another one. some type of customer service that was even if it was their policy to only cut one way then they should have never started cutting my hair wraps for me to begin with and I wouldnt be up so upset that theyre not continuing that customer service for me.Another store who normally only does one cut agreed to accept service from me.Your loss there gainThanks for refusing 17 inches Joannes

I went into Joanns today and was extreamly disappointed with the cleanliness of the building, so much so that I left. In a time when things should be extra careful and sanitary, the floors were filthy looking like they havent been cleaned in weeks, instead of sweeping up the collected debre and dirt it was in piles next to the shelving all over the place with rodant feces. The final straw was seeing a giant rat run across the floor. Joannes used to be one of my favorite stores to get crafting supplies, but I dont think I will return to this location. It was disgusting, expecially for a place that keeps fabrics. I am just disappointed with their lack of simple cleaning procedure.

It really appreciate that Joanns offers free curbside pickup, even for fabric, which was super nice! I drove up, called them and they were out with my order in less than 5 minutes! Its nice that I can still get my crafting on, without having to go in the store since my family are all high risk for Covid. Thank you Joanns!

Lots of variety of crafting and sewing items, but there were small pockets of the same type of items in multiple places making it very confusing and the employees did not seem eager to help, it was hard to get their attention even as they were walking by me.

They have the yarn I need for all my projects but their store is all cramp and people with handicap carts can not maneuver around through without pushing stuff around running over shelves or backing up and forward at least ten times. The workers ignore you and arent helpful .they have even been quite rude at some times. If they didnt have my yarn I would go other places.
