Only been here twice but definitely recommend! The cinnamon rolls are amazing and only $1 and I just love the whole aesthetic of this place. Check it out!

Just went today for a slice of pizza. They didn’t have the oven on and so they wouldn’t just let me buy a slice I had to buy a whole pizza. Waited 40 mins. Nice kids just not a very professional place especially while I was waiting they took 20 mins making other people’s food which where plain sandwiches! I was polite but wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you want a cinnamon roll.

My daughter and I visited for the first time Saturday right at lunch time. There was an extremely rude customer in front of us that kind of derailed everyone trying to work…they were just out of eggs, not much the 16 year old can do! We waited pretty long for our order but completely enjoyed the environment, the fact that teens can come grab a drink and hang out etc. When I asked about my food, the young man realized they had missed it and looked completely defeated. I hope I assured him enough that I had already witnessed his beast like work ethic and we were in no hurry! Later he brought me a handwritten coupon for a “free meal due to issues” and THEN the sweet girl with the rude customer brought us free raspberry rolls!!!! You have good kids working for you! Great job!!! Oh the food was great too! They make their own fries!!!!!!!

This is a hidden gem! Sorry to let the world know this secret, but it truly is. Known for their amazing cinnamon rolls, they also serve up one of the best breakfasts Ive ever had. Hands down! Their bacon is to DIE for! The staff are usually high school kids, but they do an amazing job serving their customers. Great little market for cold drinks as well. My Triple D pick! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

First time there for lunch today. Very refreshing! Having no mask signs on the door is always a plus 🙂 Staff were friendly, courteous, and fast. The food was delicious and priced right. Well definitely be back.

Best prices around! Very friendly, feels like home. Food made to order, so it takes just a few minutes if you order from the menu, but very worth it. (Parking spaces are too small so park in the dirt lot to the west.)

This joint is a little outta the way. But the food is worth the drive. Burger was a monster the wings perfect. The price not to shabby. Check em out.

My kids love it, but thats the problem for adults. The kids take this place over after school and its hard to get anything to eat within a reasonable time frame. Its also really loud in there with the kids all trying to talk over on another....

Disorganized and disappointing. Cinnamon rolls were tough - we didn’t eve finish them. Guy taking the order didn’t seem to know what he was doing, and they all seemed too busy in the back talking to deal with customers.

Came here for breakfast. I liked the old straw market, but the new owners have really cleaned up the place. It just has a much nicer feel on the inside. The food was made quickly and tasted great. Definitely going again!

They have a great breakfast with awesome cinnamon rolls.Straw Market has catering and you can order there desserts for events at great prices.Not a ton of parking or seating, but they isnt usually a problem when we go. I would recommend trying it out for sure.

Large, delicious cinnamon rolls that locals want to keep a secret. Extremely popular even around 6:30 in the morning on a Friday. I was the second customer and the first was taking ten away. The customer after me had to accept a couple less or wait until 7:00am for the next batch. Ours were available because of an ordered placed earlier so that is an option if you know youre going to want quite a few on a specific day.

I love my bacon so I will start there. The bacon was thick and came in a generous portion, however, It was very soggy and almost black. That tells me the grill is most likely a bit dirty during my visit. The hash browns tasted good but were also very soggy. In fact I could roll them up on my plate with out any separation. I always order my eggs over medium and usually I never know what stage they may arrive at my table, but these eggs were perfectly cooked! Great taste. You’ve also gotta try their cinnamon rolls...AmazingMy first table I needed to wipe down myself and then after that I needed to move as it seemed the entire table was going to fall off the base. The second table was even dirtier and I needed to clean that one also.

The new owners have really done a good job of improving The Straw Market! Clean, open space with plenty of seating. The fresh cinnamon rolls are the best around.

They have renovated it! They have a lot more seating and a much better set up. Thet even have pool and air hockey tables. So impressed!

I like what the new owners have done to improve the layout and cleanliness of the store. I have eaten here several times and have really enjoyed the breakfast burritos, crepes, and cinnamon rolls. Looking forward to my next visit.

Since the Pleasant View location has been taken over by a new lady, the service has gone hill drastically. We used to love going in there and having the cinnamon rolls ready at 7:30 a.m. We bought them by the sheet full. And the guy that used to run that location was very nice. This new lady never has anything ready and has been extremely rude every time we go in. Sadly to say, we will not be going back. They do have the best baked goods.

I’ve always liked the bake goods and have heard people say great things about having these yummies at receptions and showers. However, I ordered a sheet of lemon bars, uncut, and when I picked them up, they were cut in misshapen sizes. There were 14 corner pieces on the sheet. Pans only have 4 corners, so it made me think my pan of lemon bars was the various pieces that were leftover from the day. I would have liked to have had my own order of uncut lemon bars

Never been satisfied with this place. My husband loves the cinnamon rolls but I think they are mediocre nothing to rant about. But the main reason I hate this place is it never fails something is out or they are not selling it. Not really sure how this place stays in business. I havent met a friendly person in this place yet.

I’ve never been yelled at before by management for buying their last cinnamon rolls, but this morning (A Saturday morning at 9) the new lady that runs the place felt it good customer service to chew me out for buying their last ones. Sounds like she needs a good lesson in customer service and inventory management.

In fairness I have been once, just to get a cinnamon roll since I had read good things about them. The roll was good and you cant beat $1 for the price. However, the service was appalling. I walked in and wasnt even acknowledged by the teller who was sitting surfing the internet with headphones in. I walked around the store twice, walked up to the counter and had to wave my hand to get his attention, at which point all he did was remove one headphone and look at me(no verbal acknowledgment or asking what I needed). Typically Ill reserve judgement on an establishment after only visiting once - maybe his cat just died or something - but this was as surprisingly bad experience. Ill update this review if I return to better service.

In SLC to visit the kids, went to the Avenues for brunch. Excellent fresh food, had the club sandwich. Wow, constructed well.From Ogden and who knew there is a location in Pleasant View. We will be there soon!

Usually this place has amazing cinnamon rolls. For the first time I decided to try eating breakfast. I got the ham and cheese crepe... And it was disgusting. It was too thick and not cooked all the way. The cinnamon rolls were alright, but the lady working wouldnt give us the fresh ones in the window, but rather got pre-wrapped ones from the back. I was disappointed and totally appalled at her attitude.

Love this place! The menu has been updated and is really reasonable. The owners are local and are often there. Their sweets are awesome and the new menu with hot foods is great! Fun to have in PV.

Everyone talks about how great the food is and so Im disappointed I didnt get any. We waited thirty minutes after ordering to go. We watched multiple people order, get their food, and leave before us. We ordered two cold sandwiches so it didnt seem like something that would take thirty minutes to make them. We eventually left and went to a Smiths up the street

I felt like I had just gone to mcdonalds rolls are fresh when they are not wrapped in yellow paper and look like a mcmuffin the cinnamon rolls us to be made and ready by 7 I stop all the time to get them for my shop not today and the attitude from the attendant great PR wont be doing business at pleasant view straw market ever again so sad

Their service was horrible. The shop keeper literally yelled at me while I waited for someone to take my order. He screamed Stop staring at us and order! Then he proceeded to handle uncooked meats and vegetables without gloves or washing his hands in between. I will never be going there again.

Terrible experience with this place. He lied to me about multiple things, he was disorganized and rude, and then after all the things i ordered were not at my wedding luncheon, he proceeded to call me ditzy to my mother in law even after i proved that he was in the wrong. Terrible service, and he ruined my wedding luncheon. Never EVER going back or recommending this place.
