Theyve been informative, very responsive to our questions and needs, extremely helpful, prompt, and interested in our concerns (very few minor concerns). He really knows his business and treats you with respect and shares his knowledge about the entire process with you without any pressure. My husband and I drove to Ocala, to look and to find our future modular home here. We had been pre-approved, spoken to a salesperson, and we were ready to get things started.To begin our day, we were greeted by a “not so friendly or welcoming” salesperson. We were given a list of homes that could be made modular. There were only a few, which was very disappointing. Our salesperson didn’t walk with us to explain options or anything, we were simply directed outside. Okay then.Afterwards we returned inside, and at that time the salesperson sat down with us and discussed what “couldn’t be done”, to the home we settled for, and how much money it would cost us for what little “could be done” to the home. We heard a lot of “no’s”, and a lot of “you don’t have the money for that”. As a southern lady, I was quite embarrassed and offended. As a professional, he should have written those numbers down, and put those numbers in front of my husband, NOT spoken them out loud telling him what he “could NOT afford”. The truth is, we could have afforded what we wanted beyond what we were approved for. It’s very offensive to speak to people in that manner.As a result, I left there feeling as though I was “settling” for something I did not want, and I was in no way happy with the experience. It felt worse than buying a car!I convinced my husband to look elsewhere, and as a result we found an amazing home, and an amazing salesperson that treated us with respect, kindness, and total professionalism. Gainey homes and Roscoe is the best!My suggestion is to learn to treat people as though they are people..not a bonus!

Ocala Custom Homes has an office in the next town from where I live. We stopped in and the salesman, Matt, explained everything to us and was honest about everything. He did a lot of the leg work for me. Our home consultant was very kind by giving me his cell phone number. Matt awesome to work with! In short, he was always on my side working to make my house purchase as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with Matt was that he was always more focused on answering our questions, giving me good advice, and finding homes that met my needs than he was on closing a deal. I would recommend him to anyone.

Me & my wife came here to inquire about buying a mobile home for our property we just bought and as we were coming out the car we were greeted by this man on the steps who would not give us his name, he acted annoyed by answering our questions and wouldnt even invite us in to get information or look at at model, so after 3 mins of awkward conversation standing on the porch in this hot weather, I reached in to shake his handto leave and he pulled back from me in disgust and just walked in!!! I felt so insulted and felt as a salesman you must have an amazing personality and make potential customers feel welcomed and he failed at both! He made me feel as because me and my wife were black he didnt want to help or speak to us, let alone shake my head. After how me and my wife were treated I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Funny thing is me and my wife are very well off and He missed out a on huge sale cause we were planning to purchase two homes, if he wouldve been more welcoming we would have been glad to do business with him.

I was so bummed out thinking we couldn’t get a home for our property, I was just calling anyone and everyone, one turn down after the other. Then I found Matt at Ocala custom homes and he made our dreams become a reality! He stayed in constant communication with us, he was always reachable, kind, and confident.... with that said 2 days ago we closed on our brand new 2019 home!!! Thank u Matt for getting the job done and in a timely fashion! You guys really made our dream come true! I will refer anyone I know to you guys!! Awesome job!! And thanks again!

So after going to a few places and having no one even bother to sit down with us, Matt here sat down with us and started the process. Ended up getting a modular home like I wanted. No hassles so far!Edit! These people ask for a review before you ever leave the property for the first time. Make it seem like your gonna get great service. Please... anyone who asks for a review, doesn’t deserve one. Hopefully my poor review didn’t mislead anyone.

Very nice lot normal guy is very nice. We went back today to look at one we really like and a old man was there and was very rude to us. Not sure if were gonna buy from here now it was that bad.

The sale person was very stand offest with us. Laugh in our face about what payment we were trying to stay with. For the prices he told us better off getting a site home build then buying from there.

Their homes seem great but their customer service is terrible. I called twice on different days and they seem they don’t want to waste their time to answer a question for you; for instance I called asking for a particular sales man and he wasn’t in so I asked the person that answered if he could answer my question his response was you can call the guys cell number. They just want sales now I wonder how they treat you after you buy to service any problems you have

We had a GREAT Experience looking at their new Home at Ocala Custom Homes in Ocala from an old Pro named Dave! Thank You for making our experience so pleasant after having a rough time elsewhere. Honest and Friendly! Sorry we may buy from someone else but Dave was wonderful to work with and his boss was also helpful. May have to go back and at least thank him again in person and offer to buy his lunch!

The build quality is garbage. They left 3 inch openings in the side of my house letting all the bugs into my brand new house, none of the windows seal correctly letting more bugs into my house. I would not reccomend this company nothing but problems from the minute i walked into the office.

Real nice homes we went inside all the models it was fun they were really nice and the big 3/2 they have there is amazing go check it out it had a big extra room with a bar and a lot of windows the kitchen and master bath were big and really nice cabinets all over and the bedrooms were really nice size.We liked these better then all of the others we seen around town go see them I think you will notice the quality even if you have seen others this place has some real nice homes and deals.

OWe drove 2 hours out of our way and drove right past many other mobile home dealers to come to Ocala Custom homes. We had dealt with another dealship in the past which wasnt a pleasant experience including a price haggling salesperson. Matt immediately knew what we were looking for when we gave him a description of what we wanted and found us a home above and beyond expectation and below our price range! Shirley help us immensely in the office with our construction and they were both just REAL open and HONEST to work with. Also, the setup guys were nice and really knew what they were doing, and did a phenomenal job! (Even in the pouring rain!)

Matt, Ed and Shirley are the Best !! They were there for me and my family from the beginning to end . Walked us through every step and did whatever they could to get us into our home . Would definitely recommend them to my family and friends 😁 They are a really good group of people that care and will go the extra mile for you . Thank you Matt, Ed and Shirley!

Sad there isnt a zero option. Will and Lamar and their staff are scum they promise the world but can not be trusted save yourselves the headache, time and money DO NOT BUY from this place you will be disappointed. Theres a special place reserved in hell for these guys... RIP. Ms Mortimer.

Wow we loved the homes we honestly were impressed with the homes and the staff were friendly. We liked how many choices you really get.

Really great homes! Excellent staff answered all of our questions and very up front on costs and cost per SqFt. We are impressed with the quality.

The agent i was dealing with no longer works there, they stole 5000 dollars from me.. now i have no home and no money.. i have 3 kids, my loan was approved at first because their agent lied on the application and put none of my kids.. after the mortgage company found out i had kids the loan was denied and they did nothing to get my money back or put me in a house.. stay away from these crooks... it took you over a year to respond and still i have seen no money come back. Yes id say that you are definitely criminals, liars and thieves

Great customer service, we are very happy with Ocala Custom Homes.

Dont buy from these people!!! Run away and stay away. I looked at a home on some land the salesman didnt know anything about how much land went with the home. He also lied to me about the work that was going to be done to the home. The home didnt appraise for the asking price 3 different times (they would not lower the price) and after 11 months of dealing with these people my wife said no more. Then they kept my down payment. There is a lot more to this story and a lawsuit is in the works. The owner is Will, the salesman was Lamar. Run away and stay away!!

We love our Jacobsen home the selection quality and price were second to none. We like that you can also get land with the home and we were recommended by a friend who owns a Jacobsen. They really build a nice manufactured home our friend loved his and we are searching for the right land and then coming in to buy a Jacobsen Home from the Ocala Custom Home Center location.
