I have been into Shadow a few times and everyone has always been professional, friendly and helpful, I want to thank Dean for recently helping me find a trailer that had the features I needed in my price range. Shopping is always more fun then when you sit down to the table to make the deal, but at Shadow it was a breeze, no pressure, no haggle just a fair price and helpful team. Dean helped make sure all the little things were taken care of which at the end of the day is a big deal. PS I love my “new” to me Shadow lq, I already have a Shadow two horse and like the brand. We recently bought a used Exis three horse slant from Shadow Trailer. They were so helpful at every stage of purchase. Our saleswoman Sasha was so knowledgeable and could explain all the bells and whistles. The entire staff was amazing. When we picked it up Tony showed us how to use, hook up, and a general overall in service on our new/used trailer. We were so very happy with our experience at Shadow Trailer World in Ocala !!!

Great people great service

I bought a two horse bumper pull trailer two months ago. I have used the trailer 4 times. On the last trip taking a mare and foal to ocala the trailers left front tire blew out on I75. After stopping and putting on the spare and bringing the mare the breeding shed I stopped in to Shadow trailer to explain what had happened. The lady there essentially refused to take responsibility and replace the tire. It was a hot day and I still had the mare and foal in the trailer so decided to leave. I finally got the tire replaced for 145.00. Also forgot to mention there was no jack in the trailer. I have never had a new tire disintegrate with less than 500 hours. These folks do not stand behind their products. I will be shopping elsewhere for any future purchases.

We are writing this review to make other horse owners aware of the major safety concerns about the quality and design of Shadow trailers.We had a major accident while transporting one of our horses on a newly-purchased trailer that has issues with doors latching completely and locking all the way. While driving on the highway the escape door opened and the horse was able to lift the chest bar and jump out of the trailer onto the highway. MIRACULOUSLY, the horse did not get killed and no cars crashed.Nevertheless, the issue with doors not latching and chest-bars being easily dislodged are life-threatening flaws of these trailers and require significant re-design.

These people are lost in the sauce as they say. They run around the office with their heads cut off. They claim that all you need is a co-signer then the co-signer signs and they write off the primary. They will claim all you need is a certain amount down and it literally changes 5 times in an hour while your sitting in the office waiting for paperwork. We drove over 1 hour to get here and sign paperwork and they didnt even have a clue what we were there for after talking to them on the phone all week. We decided we didnt want to work with themband go elsewhere sobthey claimed on both signers credit that they denied us! These guys are unreal.

Talked to some sales lady on the phone and she directed me to the lot in Ocala. There I met Lori Cropley who took over at that point and assisted me with my purchase. She is very knowledgeable about the ins & outs of trailer use and functionality. She knows the inventory as it comes as second nature. She was willing to show me other trailers as well as the one I initially inquired about. She helped me complete the purchase. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a horse trailer whether its your first purchase or youre an expert transporter. Shes your girl.

It took them over a month to pay off my trade in. This caused me to have two extra payments and over $200 of interest that I wont get back. Slow to return calls when theres an issue. But the open aluminum car trailer is very nice and very well built. Electric under the trailer is run in conduit which is a very nice and mostly unnoticed.

I love my Shadow. Bought it new and had a few issues with things not working properly and needed to work out the kinks. I have to say Keri in the warranty was super helpful and we were able to get my warranty work done at a RV trailer place close to home.

Awesome people here! Driving through I blew a trailer bearing and came here for assistance. Although they couldn’t fix the trailer on the spot they were kind and directed me to who could. As I was leaving I actually lost my tire in the parking lot. They were very helpful and kind through the process. I sat broken down in their parking lot for three hours waiting on a tow company. They invited us into the AC offered water and company. They turned a bad situation into a manageable experience. Thank you Shadow for your professionalism and your hospitality. Process was very easy and trade in was smooth. Lori helped me for over a week before I ever drove down to look at the trailer I bought. There were a few hiccups with the trailer but they have been quick to fix any issue we have asked about.

Buyer beware: Tony at Shadow Trailer World in Ocala promises a safe product but for us that was a lie.The short story:I bought a trailer from Tony, was promised it had been fully inspected and was good to go, only to have two tires blow out on 95, leaving us stranded with two horses and a mauled fender—the result of a wheel with no grease in it that WASNT TURNING along with other major issues! Before buying Tony promised he’d reimburse me if there were any problems, but went back on his word.The long story.I bought a used 3 horse trailer off Tony recently. I asked whether it had been checked over by his team as I know problems can hide inside the wheel mechanism, and he assured me it was.He said he would stake his word and his reputation on it, and that if I found an issue he’d pay to have it fixed. That seemed like a great response and I happily went ahead.A couple of weeks later my mother in law was taking our two horses north from Savannah to upstate New York. 2 hours in a tire blew. It happens. They changed the tire, checked the spare had enough pressure and set off. 5 minutes later the spare blows on the same wheel!Thank god she was able to find a safe place to stop. Now she’s on the side of 95 on a hot day. The tire has mangled the fender and marked up the entire side of the trailer. The spare has been blown. Two horses are in the trailer and trucks are racing past.I called Tony and asked if he could think of anything that might explain it. He says he doesn’t know and will call his service team. He never calls back.The mechanic arrives and gets them off 95. He looks at the wheel and says it has no grease, the brakes are over adjusted and the bearings are bust! They got the wheel so hot it blew the tires. He checks the other wheels and says they’re fine for now, but also in bad shape.I know enough to know there’s not much to mechanically check on a trailer more than wheels, a frame and a hitch.So either this trailer wasn’t inspected. Someone did a really crappy job and didn’t inspect it right. Or it was inspected and ignored.Either way I called Tony back and told him what happened and that I wanted him to be true to his word and to pay for the repairs.I genuinely thought he would. Two weeks later he told me they wouldn’t cover the cost. His argument - they’d only cover it if I’d have found an issue before taking it on the road.So while they promise their trailers are checker, I guess what they’re REALLY saying is: if you buy a trailer from Shadow Trailer World in Ocala, the only way to be sure it’s safe is to take it to your own mechanic to get it completely inspected before you hand over the check. Seems crazy to me, but now you know!

I purchased a used trailer last fall and did so online. The sales person I dealt with was Julie Grennan. I highly recommend her if youre looking for a horse trailer as she is far above what Id consider to be the stereotypical sales person. You know, the anything to close a deal and be done type. My purchase from Shadow was not without a few hiccups along the way. As we worked through those hiccups, she was right there working to get it all figured out. When I had questions I always got a prompt response if not immediate. Her extensive knowledge of trailers and the products she sells is impressive. Mostly though, I was impressed by the fact that she genuinely seemed to care about the customer and thats a rarity nowadays. All the Shadow employees I talked to were really friendly and helpful but none as much as Julie. Again, I highly recommend Shadow and ask for Julie. You wont regret it.

I responded to an ad online for a used trailer. I was working with a online salesperson, Lori Cropley. I decided to purchase a trailer from their Tennessee location. Lori told me that when I got there it would be all clean and ready to go. After 5 hour drive we arrived and the trailer was filthy. Lights/awning and the advertised working washer and dryer was not working. The mattress was missing and so was one of the propane tanks. There was poop in the holding tanks and the trailer was not clean. After telling Bryce(the onsite salesperson) that the mattress and tank that was in the picture was not in the trailer he had it all put back in. Lori had told me that the down payment check cold be held for two weeks in order for me to do the deal(which she wanted done asap). I told Bryce this and dated the check for the 16th. After we got home with the trailer I contacted Lori and told her the washer and dryer was not working(which Bryce was aware of when we were there). I explained that no one had cleaned or put any effort into getting the trailer ready for me to pick up. I explained I had to pay to have the washer and dryer removed and would now need to purchase another. I also explained I had no keys to the trailer and the awning was broke as well. On the 8th my check was deposited overdrawing my account. I emailed Lori and she acted as if this was never discussed. I told her that I wanted a full refund of the $1100.00 down payment and I felt it was more than reasonable since another washer /dryer was a minimum of $900.00 plus all the issues and fees I had paid to get it out and would have to pay to put it back in. Multiple emails to Lori asking for updates and her saying she had to talk to her manager etc...Then I called the home office and explained everything that happened to the Controller Brenda yesterday. She said she would take this to the higher ups and that she was not aware of any of this. Well I get am email today saying they were only going to give me 1/2 of my down payment back at $550.00, period. This is how these people work. SHADY!!! LIARS!!!! I would NEVER buy from any of their dealerships Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, Indiana etc.....I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well as with the bank they work with to finance their loans. They are a greedy bunch of people who have no integrity and do not know hat customer service is! I am now out about another 1200.00 for the remaining repairs and replacements I will have to do to get the trailer to what they advertised and I purchased!

Ive had a few shadows over the years and could not be happier with the trailers or with the level of customer service that shadow brings to the table.. My family and my horses thank you!!
