Stay away. Refuses to fill tanks that are inspected by Blue Rhino and legally re-certified. Constant employee turn over and general incompetence.

I rent a truck here 2-3 times a year, and every experience, without exception, has been excellent. Employees are knowledgeable, quick and conscientious. The trucks have been clean and in working order. I highly recommend U-haul of Noho.On my most recent visit, Austin, the Manager had me out the door and in my truck in 5 minutes, which was simply astonishing!

What a rude and salty employee.I’m always with a smile but he just made me mad within a min of talking to him. Everything was negative and seems like he don’t want to be there and hate the world.With costumer service like that, Good luck....

Rented a trailer from here. Was helped by the general manager who was extremely rude. Answering my questions about the trailer was like pulling teeth from the guy. Only upside was that I got the trailer in a timely manner.

Exceptionally rude general manager, Austin. Unparalleled horrific behavior and tone. Was rude and downright mean for first 30 minutes of the initial check in process. He made an error in the check-in process and became defensive and gaslighty about taking the time to correct a simple error that was 100% his responsibility. Literally rolled his eyes, stomped away, and raised his voice to try to intimidate me when I *gently* asked that he correct the number of additional days from 11(what he mistakenly typed and I had then paid for) to the 1 that I requested. Began chastising me, trying to convince me I was “not understanding,” it would be “hundreds of dollars more expensive” if he took the time to fix it, and that I would be “glad I had the extra time.” Um, no. Please just refund the days you mistakenly charged. 45 minutes and the most unpleasant interaction in recent memory later, I got it solved by the National customer service line. Definitely a great place to go if you want to watch a grown man throw a temper tantrum over his own mistakes. Byeeee

We rented from this place twice in two weeks and had a good experience the first time around, but the second time in November 2020 the employee at the counter didnt wear their mask over their nose (or sometimes at all), helped people at the counter who arrived after us even though we were waiting in line, and scammed us on the fuel. He filled out the form as if the tank was full when it was in fact half full. Beware this place. The service we had the week before was excellent but when you get the wrong employee behind the counter youll probably get scammed.

Very very very bad customer service!!! I am 100% sure I did return utility dolly, the counter people said I didn’t return it, he want charged $90 more!!! Also If you look carefully they charge whatever they want to.

When you call to inquire about details and such, youd expect a place to be helpful. All this man said was yes, yuh, yup online, yup, yes Even though I was asking questions that needed more then a yes or no. Theyre useless at this location I know kids that would work better then these brainless people.

Probably one of the most unprofessional experiences Ive ever had. The staff were untrained and unenthusiastic and not very helpful or friendly. If you dont know how to do something you can apologize politely to a customer and not pretty much just say too bad, and then swear about them after they leave the store. I mean those guys didnt even know how to process a return. They really need to get an onsite manager back in there. they didnt explain the pricing to me and didnt do a walk around of the truck before we left.

Ooof, beware! An employee of Northampton U-Haul manually entered our credit card number for a fraudulent charge months after we rented a truck. Had to block our account, get new cards, etc. Hope the manager of this branch is able to home in on the employee whos stealing credit cards. In the meantime, stay away!!

Made a reservation for a specific trailer size. They upgraded my trailer size WITHOUT ASKING to one that is too big to pull with my car. They gave my trailer away to someone who made a reservation after me and blamed me for their clear error. I had to drive to New Hampshire to get a trailer. Absolutely horrendous service. 0/5 stars if it were possible.

0/5 stars. The people at the location are reasonable, but Erica A. (the regional transportation manager) is located elsewhere and she is brutal. I feel bad for the people who work under her. No solutions offered, just plenty of tude.Never rely on U-Haul to have your equipment as promised. Even if you order 1 month in-advance and call during the days leading up, they may cancel last-minute.

Employee was friendly and helpful, although the vehicle rental options werent ideal for what I was looking for and I ended up paying quite a bit. Called a few times to confirm and was on hold for a while. But have dealt with this location a few times over the years and am relatively satisfied. Be careful leaving yoir vehicle here, I had my gas cap stolen and gas siphoned while it was parked here about a year ago.

Ordered a wiring harness and was told it would take 3-5 days. 10 days later it was not in. The warehouse in Texas failed to notify the local UHAUL that it was on back order. Had to call 3 times to find that out and was put on hold for 10 minutes with receptionist on one occasion. The customer service rep was polite and tried to be helpful but understaffed.

I would give 0 stars if I could.Uhaul refunded me $50 less than they were supposed to, and then sent that check to an address I dont even live at; even though I had selected the option to pick up my refund in person.When I called to fix this last Friday I was told the manager would call me back that day. Ive now had to call again on Saturday, Sunday and now Ive called their 800 number (which patched me back to their store) and yet their manager is still too incompetent to pick up the phone or return a call.I also rented a motorcycle trailer from them which destroyed part of my vintage motorcycle.Looks like the next step will be contacting the better business bureau

I sure hope this get a published so others know how absolutely miserable this location is. I needed to rent a trailer to move my tool box for a new job. I spoke with the manager about a 5x9 trailer with a large ramp, ideas assured he had one for the monday I was scheduled to pickup. Also, I own a 2006 Ford explorer and heard u haul will not rent to explorer owners. I asked the manager of this was true and he staef he hadnt heard of this rule. So monday comes around and I wait from 650 am until 900 am, NO ONE SHOWED TO WORK!! I went to chicopee and transfer there was apologetic, gracious and honest. He told me.i could not rent a trailer with an explorer right off the bat!! It is amazing to me that Northampton location is till in busimess, I have never seem a more inept operation in my life!! Steer clear, you have been warned.

Started off annoying & got a whole lot worse. The apartment size estimation that we received was completely inaccurate; we had to sell our sofa set, give away about 20 grocery bags full of items, rent an additional Ubox (2 instead of 1), & jenga-style our packing in order to barely fit the rest of our things (which originally fit into a studio apartment!).The shipping was then delayed twice and the arrival date misstated 3 times. For about 2 weeks, U-Haul had no idea where our belongings were. Consistently received a lot of delayed customer service and delayed response to our inquiries/concerns or no response at all. The executive assistant of the region placed notes in our account stating that she made or attempted to make contact with us about our issues when contact was not made and we saw no indication of attempted contact. She also closed our grievance before it was actually resolved.Our belongings ended up arriving 3 weeks later than expected with only a few days before Christmas (and our Ubox monthly rental due date). Inter-office communication seemed generally very poor & customer service very lax. The delay in the arrival of our belongings cost us about $1000 (in addition to the Uhaul fees) in food, fuel, time off of work, & moving assistance as a result of not having access to our belongings and trying to move before we owed another month of rent. We had requested a minimum refund of $600 & Uhaul to supply us with movers with an explanation of the extra costs incurred by us, the time restraints, that I am 8 months pregnant & my husband has to work 50-55hrs/week. After sending in 5-6 complaints, we were refunded a total of $460 and was told that they just cant give us the total dollar amount that their delay cost us. They also offered a free month of Ubox rental (even though I told them that would be useless to us, as we had already rented a moving truck in order to avoid another month of rent.)The entire process took 7 weeks when it was supposed to take 1 week. We ended up accepting the $460 refund simply because we needed to handle other pressing life matters & were tired of dealing with this issue. We feel as though Uhaul has displayed such a consistent lack of professionalism & customer care that we have no interest in ever doing business with any branch of their company again.
