I always get only what I need and at a great value when I stop into the Northampton SW store. The staff hustles and is very experienced and knows the product well. They have absolutely everything for painting projects and jobs. That store is old-school customer service from a bygone era.

I had a bad experience with the Northampton manager. I wanted Emerald and he did not have the base (needed special yellow base paint) and he told me the Resilience would also work. I asked what the difference was and he said it was a good product and would suit my needs, although I had told him it was to spot paint bare wood. Come to find out the Resilience paint does not have the primer included in the paint. When I went in to talk to him he lied to my face, saying he had told me not to use it on bare wood. Dont trust this guy. If I keep buying SW paint I will have to drive farther to a store where I can trust their advice.

I like Sherwin-Williams paint. Especially the exterior because it lasts considerably longer than cheaper paints.The only issue I have is that it is expensive. I dont buy it unless I have a coupon.I also only use this paint on the exterior. $75 per gallon adds up.
