Loved working with Bryan! Came in to look at and test drive an XC 60 and this guy was super informative and very pleasant. I’m thinking of moving into a Volvo after my Jeep dies and this is likely the way I’ll go. I will definitely be returning to learn even more about the SUV lineup, and will seek out Bryan for sure! Lindsey T, and the entire service staff, including Ken, were very responsive to the concerns I had in repairing my Volvo. The car was bought from this dealership and has been serviced (sans one visit to Gengras) exclusively by the team at Pioneer Volvo. I am very pleased with their handling of the service event. After completing the initial service on the car, the check engine light came on after about 10 miles, and the car exhibited a slight oil leak, which it did not have when the car was brought in for service. The team at Pioneer immediately went to work to address the issues, and even dropped the car off after the repairs where completed. I am extremely pleased on how the entire situation was handled, even though it required a return visit to remedy the CEL and oil leak. Extremely friendly and cordial people working at this dealership who aim to ensure customer satisfaction.

Sorry I rated then forgot to write. Wonderful experience here. I cannot say enough good things about them. Sales was great, but then they usually are, the real meat of the dealer is the repair department and they shine. Volvo should take these people and model their service structure like this. They did right by my family and when were getting our next vehicle Ill drive the extra distance for this dealer.

Ive never experienced a service advisor like Sara. She listened, advised thoroughly without pressure and all with a tone that is on an entirely different level. I had an issue with my debit card when trying to pay and Sara very patiently walked me through other payment options without once sounding annoyed or being condescending. I picked up my car after service hours and the young man at the sales desk was also a delight (I apologize for not catching his name) but I am thankful for their warm attitudes. I am incredibly pleased with the quality of customer service provided. Such a great commitment to customer service should be commended highly. I will be back for my 40,000 mile service very soon.

Hoping my new Volvo works out for me! My sales person served the car well until...I found human hair under the seat lots. after my my purchase...i had a hissy fit telling the sales person that was my top of the line concern. Human hair that was under the seat....yikes. With Covid ...nasty I as surprised with a higher end Dealer.I called my sales person didnt receive a call back after 1/2 hr I .....sent an email to Carla matter of fact twice... I recieved a call back th person that was Listening! HELPed ....Thank you for the follow through that I recieved. A quick response ! ! She took control of a bad situation and made it right . ..Car has been cleaned with long human hair is gone.. YIKES ...thank god ! Oh, Covid, Ill finish my personal sanitizer tomorrow. Not Confident. Cleanliness is a must.

I went through Corporate Perks looking to purchase a specific vehicle, with specific options, at a specific rate. Kathleen definitely came out on top to meet all my needs and get me exactly what I asked for while other dealerships just wanted to sell me what they had available. She kept in contact with me via email and phone which made it very easy because living a little over 30 minutes away and working every day I didn’t have time to go back and forth to visit the dealership. She found the vehicle I wanted, sent pics & stats, worked with Jeff and emailed me the financial breakdown. Once we came to an agreement she took the down payment over the phone to hold the car and we set the date to meet. Prior to me coming in Kathleen emailed me the credit application to complete which made for such an easy in/out visit when I went to sign the paperwork. Upon our arrival we met with Jamie who took us to test drive the vehicle. Jamie was very kind and patient with answering all my questions and explaining to me the features of the car. If he didn’t have the answer, he made sure to ask someone who knew so I would get the answer. The test drive route Jamie took us on was a nice route to get a good feel of the car. Sitting down with Jeff to sign the paperwork was quick and painless as many people know you can tend to spend hours at dealerships when trying to purchase a vehicle. It was a pleasure purchasing my vehicle with Volvo Cars Pioneer Valley...keep up the great job Kathleen, Jamie and Jeff!

We recently bought a Volvo XC90 in mid March. Initially our experience was a good one. Our salesman was very nice and they gave us a fair trade on a Volvo xc40 that had an extended warranty still on it. We were misled into believing that we would lose the value still left on the warranty unless we rolled it into another warranty on the new car. We decided to sign up for a new warranty thinking we could just take the value that was left and pay the difference. Nope! We had to pay for the whole thing and we were told the warranty company would send us a refund in 4-6 weeks for the first warranty. When we got home we called the warranty company and they told us we would not lose the value of the old warranty and could just be issued a refund. So we immediately called pioneer Volvo and told them to cancel the warranty. But because we paid with a debit card and not a credit card they told us they would have to issue a check which would be mailed within the week. After numerous phone calls and emails with a response that “our check is in the mail” we still haven’t received a refund on either policy. Come to find out, they never cancelled the first warranty and they still have not issued us a refund on the new warranty. It’s been 4 months! So basically we are paying for a warranty we no longer own and have paid for a warranty we never received. We have had to file a complaint with the Mass Attorney Generals office in an attempt to get our $9k back. I never leave negative reviews but this place uses deceitful tactics and are dishonest to their customers. Buy your car elsewhere!I just noticed pioneer valleys response to my review. Yes, they ended up refunding us the 9k for both the warranties...but it took dozens of phone calls for months with no response and finally having to get the Massachusetts Attorney General involved. We had to wait 6 months to get back 9k that was never theirs to begin with and that they should have refunded immediately. They never would have returned our money if it had not been for the MA Attorney Generals Office. Do not buy your car from these people. I warn everyone I can not to buy a vehicle from any dealership owned by Tommy Cars.

I was so fortunate to walk into Pioneer Valley Volvo when I did. I had done my research and knew the exact car I wanted. Only the other dealerships I had visited did not bother to tell me it was no longer available. Pioneer Valley Volvo had one new car purchase order for a 2019 car available and Jamie offered it to me with my specifications. Jamie, Joe and Jason were all available and very helpful getting my car ordered, getting me oriented to it, and getting it delivered to my home in Vermont. It is the first new car Ive had in over 40 years and Im so happy to have the one I really wanted.

Tremendous service department !!!Heather and Nicole treat you like you’re an old friend whenever calling to coordinate service.My latest experience- I had a roadside breakdown just as the dealership was closing. Heather not only coordinated with Volvo roadside service, but went so far as to offer to pick my wife and I up herself to make sure we had a loaner vehicle with no interruption to our busy schedules. This would have taken at least an hour of her own time after hours. Tremendous old school service.

I have to say that I Is the Best dealer in Pioneer Valley Area.Friendly Staff. Great customer service. We Bought a Car a year ago and Jamie Fenton was our sealer guy. He was very nice and friendly person at the same time. He welcomes us as soon he saw that we were looking at the car. He was also very Kind Because I had to sign some paper to be able to see if I could get approve for the car. But I wasn’t able to go to the dealer to sign up the paperwork. So he drove to my work place and brought the papers for me. So I could be able to sign them. Not body does that. He is so efficient and you can tell he loves his job. Such a nice person. He helped me to find the best deal. So if you are looking for a car in Pioneer Valley Volvo dealership ask for “Jamie Fenton”.

I cannot say enough good things about the quality and amazing customer service I have received consistently from this dealership. Not only are the prices fair and the work excellent, (and the pastries and coffee delicious) Heather and her crew are great communicators and listeners and are respectful of my priorities. I am a foot care nurse. My patients rely on me to keep their feet healthy and I rely on my 2011 Saab to get me to them. I put about 3000 miles A month on my car and Heather and her crew make it possible.

This review is not to bring awareness to my friend and my experiences, and how the circumstance of our deal highlighted several weaknesses of this dealership, instead I am here to bring attention to a completely unacceptable an intolerable way my friend was treated by the management of Volvo Cars Pioneer Valley.What I found intolerable was not some subjective view of ‘poor customer service’ towards my friend, but my shocked observance to the dismissiveness and aggressive mistreatment of a woman.Having watched as they mishandled her during negotiations, were dismissive in the ways she was addressed, and used tones as if she where a ‘child’ in the transaction, I almost found it difficult to believe it was real at times.My position was there to be supportive, this was completely her purchase, yet they mostly communicated with me and acted as if I were the one ‘in charge’. Thinking of my daughters, my sister, my mother, I couldn’t help but to feel the sadness and upset of what she was going through. Having had to fight this treatment most of her life, this successful, independent, wonderful single mother now, still, had to face this discrimination during what should have been a simple enjoyable life event. For the record, one of the things they did not deliver on was the original quoted sale price, however they did revert to the original price once the sales manager and I engaged, I guess you can say ‘man-to-man’.The event that was completely unacceptable and intolerable happened when we returned to the dealership to discuss one of the many unexecuted commitments they had made. The sales manager, who was visibly irritated, at some point was asked by my fried if he realizes he is acting as though this were personal and that he’s coming across as intimidating. At that moment he had what I refer to as the ‘crazy eyes’ (we have all seen them), he leaned forward quickly across the table in front of her and said, “it IS personal!” It was shockingly unexpected. He walked away and I could see in my friend’s eyes, that was later confirmed in discussions, she felt threatened and was terrified.I’ll be honest in the moment it didn’t fully hit me as shocking as it did a few minutes later because as a ‘man’ I wasn’t unfamiliar with these aggressive behaviors, however seeing if from my female friends perspective, I completely understood the threatening feelings of intimidation. I was completely mortified and embarrassed for the ownership of Volvo Cars Pioneer Valley!A deep and sincere apology is owed, which has not happened. If it’s pride or lack of respect keeping this from taking place, I would suggest that any strong independent women who expect to be treated fairly and with respect avoid this dealership all together.

Why would one travel way out from a Boston metro area to this remote dealership to buy a car? I found out. This Volvo dealership is a hidden gem. They have the car you want at the best price. And, they treat you like you are their next door neighbor. No BS. No high pressure. Just honest and factual, with a good measure of humor. This was the best automobile transaction I have ever experienced in the last 40 years!

Horrible!!!!!!I paid cash for a Volvo 2017 inscription brand new but a few miles on it. It has many problems!!! Apparently its not made for people whom take short trips. Our battery is always low and when it gets low enough it dies! I have three children and have been stranded with a dead battery!! I called pioneer and they wont take the time to do anything about it!yThey wont even call us back. They told us to take it to another Volvo in our area! They dont stand by there product!!! We live out of state and a Volvo dealership in our area told us the car is designed for people that take long trips not long trips or youll have battery issues! Would have been nice if we knew that before paying over $70,000 in cash for the vehicle. When you call pioneer about it they wont stand by there product and are very quick to pass the buck. We also bought a roof rack for $1,000 damage and unfixable! They wont give us a new one or give us our money back! We have a receipt and so do they and wont make it right! They figured we live out of state and wont do anything about it and figured they had us beat! Worst company I have ever done business with!!!! Very shady!!!! I recommend if anyone reading this if you want a Volvo never come to this dealership! They wont stand by there product and if you ask them questions never expect the truth! They gave us a used roof rack I believe was either returned previously or something from there show room the bars where broken and they where in the roof take box which was in another box and its obvious looking at the peices. They asked me for pictures and we sent them and they wont return a phone call. They emailed us saying they wont return it. Im telling you if you are thinking about going to this location think long and hard before you waste your money on a thing they sell. They are the most dishonest people I have ever met!!!! Oh by the way I had a hard time sending my last review leaving all the stars blank so in order to post this I have to leave a star! But I believe they dont deserve any stars but want to leave this review on this horrible experience Ive had dealing with this dealership for the last 7 months!
