I had service at the salon and was told that I had a one week satisfaction guarantee if I didnt like it. When I came back to have my concerns addressed within one week they attempted to charge me for a full price service. Upon complaint I was still charged $60, instead of $75, which means I still paid $30 more than if they had charged me for both services in the first place during our first appointment. Keep in mind I willingly left both appointments with wet unstyled hair to save the stylist time. Now $150 later my hair is orange and I cannot get my issue resolved by the store at 2 pm the next day since no managers on duty can assist with salon issues. Additionally the salon manager at the second appointment informed me that I was happy with my first service, and the second process was just something extra that I wanted. She insisted that it looked how it was supposed to, keeping in mind that it had to be processed twice during the first visit due to the color not taking resulting in a much darker root color. If they had informed me that I would be paying for another service to get a hairstyle I was happy with I could have just paid someone else all together to fix it or I could have at the very least come in at my convenience instead of being told I had to rush to make a decision on what to do with it inside a week. A customer should be informed when correcting an issue is going to cost a significant amount.

Went in looking for 2 pair of Arizona jeans for my husband found only, so we werent able to purchase because it was a 2 for 50 sale. Ordered 2 pair online they came with one labeled t h e correct size but atleast 2 inches smaller around!Update: We went back to exchange the pants and were helped out by a very kind and personable woman named Katherin

The store looked nice but I left my merchandise, I went to 2 check out areas and found no one to help. One should not beg you to take their money.

They have a nice little verity. The people that work there are very nice. You can find something for everyone.

Very short on products, most were out of size I was needing. Prices have been increased.

Horribly rude woman with an accent locked the door behind me upon entering, and then promptly disappeared with the key, leaving about half a dozen people locked in by the front door rather than let us out. I had to go find someone to let us out. I was livid. Im claustrophobic and have a fear of getting left in a closed store, so I flipped out. THE DOORS SHOULD NEVER BE LOCKED WITH CUSTOMERS INSIDE! I work retail and cannot imagine a scenario when this would be acceptable or where something like that would be protocol.

The guy at the register was so nice and funny! He talked to every customer like they were life long friends. We had to do an exchange the next day because my friend picked up the wrong size pants and the process was painless, which we both appreciated. Also happy to see they still have their online coupons, I know alot of stores are changing up that policy since COVID-19.

The jewelry department is a joke here the women are not helpful and just want to rush you out without telling you the difference between two rings that look exactly the same

We had a portrait sitting. The store signs didnt direct us, but a stocking staff was able to get us there. Our photographer was patient and did a great job. In fact, he gave us the current coupon deal instead of the one I had, which gave us an additinal 8X10 photo.

We shop here, never have any issues, used to carry more stuff in stores but if they dont have it it can be ordered.

Went in to buy silverware sales were great was $280 got Oneida for $104 what a savings!! Also been looking for a suitcase the one I wanted of course was $200 but after discount I paid $75 bux Im so happy!!

I have been getting my hair done at the JCP in McCain mall for several months. The past couple of months have been very disappointing. The hair care specialists had to share basic supplies like edge control and finishing spray.I was happy to see their new Manager, Abbye, because I thought she was going to come in and make things better. Theyve gotten WORSE. The last couple of times they didnt have the products they needed AT ALL. I was going to get a repair treatment a couple of weeks ago and they didnt have any treatment. Im here now to get a relaxer and can you believe they dont have any relaxers? I really love my hair care specialist but Im going to be forced to take my business elsewhere. I cant keep coming here when management doesnt care enough about the clients to get the products we need for our hair. This definitely shows a lack of professionalism for such a well known brand like JCP

Just cant really ever find a compelling reason to shop here. It seems they will go the way of Sears unless they do some pretty serious restrategizing. They need to do more marketing and give people a reason to shop there- send out coupons, etc.Im a JCPenney card holder yet never get any deals in the mail. I shop at kohls much more frequently because they always have good marketing and coupons that remind me they exist. JCPenney makes themselves very forgettable.But its worth mentioning I bought some faux down blankets here and they have held up wonderfully for many, many years! From JCPenney Home Collection. 100% cotton cover, made in China unfortunately, but filled and finished in the USA.

They had workers standing around and talking in every department, except the jewelry department. We asked 5 different people if they could help in the jewelry department and they all said they would send someone over, but no one showed up and we waited over 30 minutes for the one worker in jewelry, to be able to assist us.

Currently at the store now with my mother the doors to the building are locked. There’s a couple of other people waiting to enter the store. I called the store to inform them that their back doors are not unlocked but the person in the Home Department was extremely rude insisting that they’ve unlocked all the doors. I had to repeat several times that the back door still had the pull gate down and doors were locked. Only after repeating myself 5 times did she realize that the doors were not unlocked and quickly changed her response to she’s sending someone now to unlock.

Shirley robison is the worse manager. so rude never respectful harassed me about a jcp card after i told her no i don’t want it on my credit. didn’t want to give me my coupon or the price it was supposed to be for. argued with my girlfriend about it. disrespected the associates. told her i was calling cooperate then she began to sing a different tune. horrible person for this type of job!!!!! Levi’s were supposed to be buy one get one half off she didn’t want to honor that. Very rude

I have always shopped at Penneys, but sometimes I think they need to hire a few more fashion forward buyers in clothing. They should stop trying to be Sears with all the 1970s fashion. If memory serves, it didnt work for Sears.

I can always go to JCPenney & find what Im looking for and find a bargain or two as well. Ive never been there & was not greeted by someone or asked if I needed any help. Even if there is a line at the checkout counter I dont mind waiting because I know the cashier will be courteous & professional.

I have shopped at JC Penny in McCain Mall for my whole life. I have fond memories of going shopping there with my mother and grandmother! This location is wonderful! The staff is friendly, and competent. I got my hair cut at their salon this week by Senior Stylist Angie. Angie did an exceptional job on my hair. My hair was long, it is very thick, and unruly. My hair can be very difficult to work with, but she cut it effortlessly and it looks and feels amazing! Another stylist named Tessa greeted us and checked us in. Its very coincidental because my name is Tessa (short for Theresa) and my mothers name is Angie. I thought it must have been meant to be when I found that these two ladies shared our names! Ha.I also bought a new deep fryer from the home department, the staff was very helpful. The home department has quite an extensive selection! The range of prices is also great because you can find exactly what you need for a price that is affordable for you. I definitely recommend shopping at the JC Penny in McCain Mall in North Little Rock! :)

Shirley the older black lady was beyond rude to me today . When I came to the clothing department, I spoke to her and she just looked and didnt say a word . She was also watching me. I have a tiny purse so its not like I was going to take anything.. So I go to Check out..Shirley is the cashier. It was this shirt I had that was on sale for 4.99 and I also had a dress that was 14.97. So my total came up to 32 dollars. I said how is it 32 dollars? She nastiely said its 32 dollars because it obviously rung up 32 dollars. So I was like the shirt is 4.99 and the dress is 14.97, thats not adding up. She started getting smart and Im like the sign is right there go look. So she checks me out and throws my bag to me and doesnt say anything at all. At the point I want my money back because theres no point in spending money in an establishment with rude people.

Jcp is fine - have an account - been shopping the store for years. However, at the nlr store not sure there needs to be 4 women in red shirts standing at the door when I walk in. Like, I dont need you staring at me from the lot until I pass by. Its very weird. Is this high school?? They could be floating between the registers or you know...helping a customer find what they need NOT standing around looking me up and down. If its part of an LP tactic, it sucks. If someone has theft on their mind, it can definitely happen with all the managers just standing around at the door. Saying hello at the door wont change anyone’s mind. And if anyone needs to be at the door it needs to be men! I was shopping for about 30 minutes and all of the women were there when I walked in AND when I walked out. Nonsense.
