I love best buy Ive been a loyal customer for years, the Best buy near my old home in Las Vegas new me quite well. The location here on Rivers in North Charleston is mediocre at best. The shelves are empty in many departments, most of the staff doesnt even pay attention to you or offer assistance.

Had a difficult time finding the product I wanted to purchase. I figured I spent twice the amount of time looking for a thumb drive than required. Ive determined this is because the two associates I asked simply pointed in the general direction of the product where a better customer experience would of been for the associates to of walked me to the area of interest. Save the effort, purchase online.

The customer service at this store is wonderful. Several months ago, I went in to purchase a new laptop. I knew exactly what I wanted, specs wise, and the gentlemen there spent a great deal of time working with me to get the best option for my needs. Last evening, I purchased a television. I didnt consider the size of the television in relation to my new car (SUV to sedan is a BIG difference, lol). Tobias, the person who brought my items out, twisted and turned, pushed and pulled, and eventually helped remove the television from the box to make it work. We secured it in the trunk/back seat, and I now have the television at home...without a scratch.

Great place to find some of the best prices on the best items, specific items, or electronics that most other places dont carry. Customer service is up to par, nice friendly staff. Geek squad is on-site Id u need a qualified tech to fix something or provide in depth knowledge. Lastly dont forget to open your best buy app to your my best buy account to see all the deals and special offers you would otherwise miss. If there is a flaw to this place its that they occasionally are missing an item that their system counts as still in inventory. Anyone willing could always give the store the upper hand on this issue by altering the staff of they suspect anyone shoplifting in the store. That being said the place is perfectly safe I take my children there all the time

I was gok g to buy a new laptop on amizon as usual, but realized the hassle involved with purchasing a computer if and when it craps out. So I went to best buys and was very glad I did. The Salesperson was extremely helpful in making a thoughtful decision and one that I no I could not have made with the lack of knowledge that I have in computers. I just had to come home plug it in and go to work on it. Nice and simple!

I was needing to buy a television. I milled around looking for approximately 25 minutes during which time, not even ONE employee asked me if I needed help. In FACT, from the the moment I walked into the store until exiting the store the ONLY person that spoke a word to me was to say have a good day as I LEFT the store. You might as well shop online.

Went by this place yesterday, got this coffee maker for 69.99 it was $60 off it doesnt say it on the tag but if you look up online youll find the real prices there. Anyways they got a price match whatever you find also. I kind of like this Best buy even though there was only one cash register open and it was kind of busy. I wasnt sure if they were following all covid guidelines with the percentage of people inside the building but I did see everyone wearing their mask at moments while not near other people. But this location will get busier and busier so Merry Christmas and a Happy New year

Avoid doing business at the North Charleston location - I purchased a TV three weeks ago, there have been three delivery windows, and the TV was never delivered. Ive spent hours on hold with Best Buys Geek Squad and there seems to be a real problem getting any straight information from the North Charleston location. Terrible experience and service.

I love the products they have but I always have a problem finding help when I have a question.. I had several associates looking at me as I was looking around but no one asked if I needed help so I had to walk up to one of them and asked if he could help me and he stated he would try and he did I would say that. I believe in customer service and I dont like coming into a store knowing I am going to spend alot of money but I dont feel welcome I will go spend my money elsewhere.

Very nice people, always everytime I go in for something its actually in stock.Have bit of everything with computers/tablets/printers/other computer enhancements/tech, TVs/DVD or Blu ray players, Movies, & TV series, cellphones & enhancements/tech, large appliances (fridges, washers, dryers), cooking appliances (air fryers (love mine thats a Insignia brand from Best Buy!), instant pot/pressure cooker, toaster ovens, etc), and vacuums/carpet cleaners.Prices can vary - sometimes its a great deal, a good deal and a meh deal.

The store itself, the managers, and car audio are nothing short of amazing. Id LIKE to give the store itself an amazing review. This RIDICULOUS way that CORPORATE has decided we should call a call center when I need further assistance on my car audio purchase and installation is ludicrous and a waste of my time. So now I have no choice but to go in since the call center seems to think they know how to help me. Or they think they can transfer my call to the store, but FOUR TIMES, it just bounced back to the call center. What MENSA candidate at corporate came up with this? Why do I have to do all the leg work for customer service after my purchase?

I visited this location last week to see if there were any new tech gadgets out yet. I was really impressed at their huge selection of cameras and photo gear. Its nice to know that you can still buy Prosumer grade equipment locally and at competitive prices. The Associates are attentive and willing to help you at any moment. The displays at every turn make shopping here exciting. I was surprised to see more than a few clearance racks throughout the store. I had to resist the urge to hunt for things I didnt need.

BEWARE potential BestBuy buyers/shoppers:I did not want to leave a bad review but am getting NO local help to speak of and calling CORPORATE will make a person crazy.Talked to several (3) store managers, including the TOP store manager Frank Simins(?) unfortunately for me all for nothing . . . they all claim they can do nothing as “it’s corporate” and they can’t do any more than I can. REALLY??? They’ve had my money for awhile now and even charged me more money after the order was cancelled IN THE STORE and now, I’m to believe they’re cutting me a check rather that returning the money to the card they took it from?? Makes no sense and I am beyond frustrated. Buyers beware . . . especially if you have to change or cancel an order!! This could be YOU writing a review complaining of the same problem happening to YOU!

Great experience! I did all my research quote down the model that I wanted and went. I watched all the TVs without looking for model numbers and waited till I found one in price range popped. I window shopped almost an hour before being approached. There were plenty of staff available. They greeted me but never pushed. So I found the TV models I liked and asked about one I found. Turned out that I was right with research. I also was able to get a size bigger and year newer for hardly an increase. They answered questions and explained my findings without ever asking my budget or pushing for bigger sale. I truly felt I was in charge. None of this was my experience years ago. I am so happy I went to Best buy. Of course theyll price match actual business. Not eBay and only Amazon sales not their third party stores. Sorry for ramble, but really loved my experience and not sure I helped anyone 🤣

Juan saw me looking with confusion on all the different selections and instead of telling me what I needed asked me what things I was looking for in a laptop and showed me the ones that would fit around my needs. Long story short....ordered thousands of dollars worth of appliances in June. Fridge back ordered until August, which we were fine with. fast forward to beginning of August, fridge order is cancelled with no notification. I only realized it when I logged into my BB account and saw the cancellation. Spoke with appliance manager about it. No apology, no nothing. In fact, they made us GIVE BACK the promotional gift card amount we received when we ordered the fridge during the 4th of July sale. We ordered a different model fridge, scheduled for delivery today. Ask me if it came today? Nope. Ask me if my husband took off work to wait, yes. Customer service says I have to call the store about it. No one answers at the store. They clearly have no respect for a customers time, or for the customer in general. So here we are, 2 months later and still NO fridge.

I didnt enjoy my visit, the employee at the PC area wasnt much of any help. I figured itd be faster to buy a PC monitor here rather than waiting 2 or 3 days to have one delivered from a different place. But no, they didnt have much in stock. The employee couldnt answer simple question, I literally had to pull up my phone and look up a model number to see what monitor it was. Not a fun experience.

Some of the employees are extremely helpful and willing to assist customers wherever possible. Theres not enough registers open for the amount of business in the store, and the cashiers were playing on their phone and not focused on the customer in the slightest and assisting them in a timely manner.

Went to ship for a radio for my tundra, nice selection from cheap to near tesla style radios. The gentleman behind the install window was busy finishing up a job and unfortunately didnt see me to answer questions until about 10min later, not giving the guy a hard time in any capacity he was working, just feel there should be at least 2 people in the bays anytime installs are occurring. Other than that service was very friendly and informative.Update: unfortunately the radio turned out to have a bad internal amplifier, I did the install my self as I have for many years since early 2000s. Due to other untimely circumstances I couldnt meet the 14 day return policy. Upon return the young lady at the service desk explained I could only get refund via a gift card. I stated my circumstance to the young lady and she called for a MOD which also stated the same policy rules again I mentioned my circumstance and after consideration she graciously allowed the refund to my card. The two ladys I think defied the laws of physics to get the full refund back to my card since a part of my purchase was from a visa gift card that I no longer had since I didnt expect to need it for a return. I wish I had names for these women as they are the shear epitomy of customer service. Also I enjoyed the Scottish native accent of the MOD very sweet woman.

Best Buy on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston is one of my favorite places in the area to shop for all things electronics. I like he layout of the store and the location as it is easy to get to from all directions. The store is well managed and I enjoy being able to walk around and see and touch everything before making a purchase. This store has been consistent in their quality since they opened and it is always fun to shop here.

Had to go to the store to get an online order resolved due to the store not delivering the items I purchased over a month ago. Then they wanted to make me wait another month to attempt delivery again. I ended up having to spend a whole day exposing myself to Covid-19 just to get the merchandise I already paid for. Went to the Best Buy location on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston to report an issue with my Insignia television, which is still under the manufacturers warranty (purchased less than 1 year ago). The assistant manager directed me to contact Insignia to discuss my issue, insisting that my warranty was through the television manufacturer rather than Best Buy. In actuality, Insignia is a Best Buy brand so when I called Insignia, the representative informed me that they (Best Buy and Insignia) are basically the same with respect to support for Insignia products. It was a very busy day in the store so I understand that the assistant manager had a lot on his plate, but I feel that he told me to go call Insignia just so that he could deal with other things in the store. Of course when I called Insignia, they told me that I would need to go talk to someone in a Best Buy store. It was a bit frustrating so I decided to give up for now. I may try to discuss my issue with someone from another Best Buy location soon though.

Good selection. Good prices, especially during sales. Quality of staffing varies. Dont waste your money on Geek Squad insurance. I have purchased it on several items and when the need arose the Geek Squad personnel faltered badly and was never able resolve the issue with my purchased product.

I own an online business and usually purchase all my computers and devices from Best Buy. lately their customer service has hit a bottom low. I went in to buy a new computer system the other day and was refused service until I waited upfront until called on. I called the store today with a problem with my 2-week-old computer, the woman refused to tell me her name so I would know who I spoke with. When I spoke to the assistant manager, he told me there is nothing they can do to help me I needed to call India. That is the last time I will go to Best Buy. They are not the only game in town. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We went there for a screen protector for my sons new iPad, they were sold out but had an awesome sale on cases so they didnt have many left. We were able to get him a $50 case for $24.99 an a 2 year warranty. The saleslady was very attentive, polite an funny. We also had no problems bringing in an electronic device we didnt purchase there. It was a great experience!!
