I was a relatively new customer to Salpinos. I catered a memorial service dinner from Salpinos for my husband who passed away last year due to COVID 19. I had family flying in from different states to attend the memorial, but they were grounded due to weather conditions. Danny in catering and each employee I spoke to were very understanding of the circumstances I was dealing with. As a result, I was given a full refund (even after cancelling the same day of the service). Thank you Salpinos. You helped to make a difficult and emotionally draining situation somewhat more tolerable. I will remember the kindness always.

The older guy in the deli is obnoxious. He always gives you more than you ask for. Remember to look as this is a rip off. I asked for a half a pond. I got almost 3/4. He is very unpleasant

So delishes, cold cuts, bakery, veggies all good all fresh, people that work there are very nice, very conscience.

Pricey and not very friendly customer service. I prefer the small T & F pork store in Franklin Square.

The linguine was dry (without Oil and Garlic as promised,) and the Marsala Sauce was watery with only two or three mushrooms in the entire tray of Chicken. This was our first time ordering food from Salpinos. We were disappointed and it seems like its their regular policy to place callers on a long for a very long time and not answer the phone call, which is very frustrating. I didnt call to be placed on hold for ten min or more!

We catered from here for fathers day and it was awesome!! Everyone loved the food and i sure did too! The stuffed rigatoni was amazing and the chicken teriyaki was honestly the biggest hit. I told my parents we need to cater from here more often!!

We called ahead for a sandwich from the deli and arrived 30 minutes later to pick it up. No one had processed our order so we had to wait for someone to make it. Had to ask three different people to make it and they kept putting it off. Took another half hour to finally get it. To top it all off we saw a man behind the deli take off his mask. Never ordering from here again.

I called only a day before I needed catering and it was no problem at all! Everyone was super friendly and professional. They even brought it all out to my car for me. The food was incredible and our guests were very happy, as were we. Definitely have to come back here!

Great Italian food supermarket a hidden gem here in Merrick. The Rice balls are amazing, prepped Italian dishes like a eggplant Parmesan tray for those days you dont feel like cooking or have unexpected guest. Dont forget the fresh bread, international products and bakery!

Good Italian gourmet marketplace. Sandwiches are made with the freshest of ingredients. Their prepared food is of good quality and substitutes as an honest-to-goodness home cooked meal! Cant beat the quality of the meat and produce. Definitely worth a stop on your journey, and, take home with you a loaf of their tasty, fresh-baked Italian bread, along with the delectable assortment of cookies.

The place is clean and the employees are friendly and fast. The reason for the two star is they always run out of bread around 2pm. They couldnt make sandwiches because they didnt have any bread. You would think someone would say maybe we should bake more bread. Never going back there again Im sorry but come on.

I always was told it was great....finally this morning I decided to go to the one in Bellmore. Not worth the effort and so lacking the italian flair... not worth the effort.

So disappointed . Have not gone there in a while. But I tried again tonight . Went to the deli and ordered my cold cuts . I think I ask sliced thin at least 3 times. And I got home and none of it was thin. To thick to even eat on a sandwich. Really you dont listen to your customers. So frustrating!!!. Will not go back now.

Mixed feelings. Most foods are good, but be careful with their meats. Have had issues with their sausage rings twice - returned the first time but had to throw out the second time because it was already cooked. Never had this problem with other Italian meat stores. Time to find another place.

I absolutely love their salads and fruits the hamburger patties that are already prepackaged they’re horrible but the rest of the food there is amazing the help is very good very clean store I’ve bought some of that hot foods which honestly I like Iarvones better for thatBut their salads & house dressing is the best & huge
