Great eye-care friendly helpful staff pleasant atmosphere.

Every one was the greatest. I had a few issues and they were very patient and attentive to my needs. I even created my own issue and they took care of me immediately! What a fantastic staff!

This was our first visit here as North Augusta Eye Care. My two children and I had back to back appointments. The assistant that did all the paperwork and tests was amazing. He kept my kids smiling and engaged. Dr. Cutright was great. He was kind and made us feel comfortable. The staff that helped us choose frames were happy and willing to help. Thanks to Mrs. Amber Bishop for recommending we return.

My eye exam was super efficient and Dr Cutright went the extra mile to ensure my eyes were healthy. Picking out the glasses was a breeze. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff; Front desk (Sharon) and Assistant (Jesse) as well Dr Abbas. Delightful photos that make you smile throughout the office. I went for an emergency exam and was in pain. Dr. Abbas made things very comfortable for my eyes too!

Having recently moved to the area I had a vision problem in my left eye. They accepted as a patient, diagnosed my problem and arranged for me tosee the specialist I needed the same day. Eye can see. I can see why the slightly higher prices conflict with game switching vision box stores. By the time I left another vision place my bill was higher than N. Augusta Eye Care. Very pleased with the professionalism here and will be back for other vision things. They can co manage lasik well. Couldnt be happier.

The doctor was so nice and made me feel comfortable. I was in and out on my day off. They have a ton of cute glasses. Melissa helped me tremendously and was so easy to talk to. She answered all my questions and all of the other customers seemed to love her too! I will be coming back.

My family has seen Dr. Cutright for 17 years. He is wonderful! He takes time to answer any questions you may have, and is patience while do so. He listens when you have a concern. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Cutright! His office staff is nice and pleasant.

Good experience at 1st until I got my eyeglasses. I couldnt see ANYTHING!!! I had a week to return them as their policy states. I returned them in 2 days and now its been 2months and still no refund. They took the entire $500 from my insurance company and I paid $150 plus tax out of pocket for the glasses. They told me i needed to pay another $150 to see. Grand total of $800 plus tax for one pair of glasses!!! Nope, give me my refund!!!

I went to North Augusta Eye Care for the sole reason that they sold the Silhouette Glasses. This was the 1st time Ive been there. Everyone was friendly and made the entire process seemless. Dr. Sarah Artrip did a complete eye exam which included exams that Ive never had before. If youre looking for a thorough exam, then this IS the place to go!!!!!!!!!!!

My family has seen Dr. Smith for years, and always had professional service. Our last visit was with the new doctor and staff (since Dr. Smith retired). We have had problems with service and billing ever since. I have called many times trying to resolve the problem. I’m told only the office manager can help me with billing problems, but she has not been available the multiple times that I have called. I’ve left messages every time I’ve called, but have not received a return call to resolve the billing issue. During one of my calls, I asked the receptionist to relay my concern to the doctor, and ask her to return my call at her convenience. She laughed at me and said “the doctor does not return phone calls.” I then scheduled an appointment to go to the office and go over the bill with someone. At that appointment, I was told the billing had been resolved and was given a print out of a new statement showing a zero balance on both mine and my husbands account. A month has gone by, and I just got another statement with a balance in collections. It is frustrating that this is happening, especially since I thought it was finally resolved.

Unless you have half a year for your glasses to be ready do NoT go here took about five months for them to make my glasses. Theres really no excuse for that. In the future I will spend my hard earned money somewhere else.

They accept my insurance and VSP. With VSP I save lots of money. The staff and Optometrists are real professionals. They do a thorough eye exam and they care. Not a lot of wait time.

I’ve been trying to get correct Rx for lenses and contacts since the beginning of the year. When they say they will call you back, they don’t. If the hadn’t already billed my insurance, I’d ask for my money back and go somewhere that puts the patient first. Unfortunately I’m stuck with this office, still getting the run around, and not having what’s been already paid for up front. The most recent call, last week, still remains to be returned. I’ve lost what little confidence i had left.

Dr. Smith did a fantastic job with his replacement for his retirement.

Through no fault of the office, the lab is very slow, and have had to have them remake/repair lenses twice now. This all started with an office they bought out. Then I had to go to the N.Augusta office. Now it has been a total of 6 1/2 months without my glasses being done correctly. I just want my glasses, and these bad headaches gone. They did call me and say the manager got mine ready 1 1/2 hrs. before closing on Friday, but I was two hours away in Columbia, and couldnt possibly get there before they closed. Now I have to wait till Tuesday. When they get back after Labor day.

In May 2020 I had the BEST EXPERIENCE I could have asked for with an eye exam! Dr. Sarah Artrip was wonderful! She is up to date in the latest procedures and has wonderful communication skills! I asked for a prescription of drops to be called in for my 89 year Mom who cannot get out of the house. I was advised it would be done. 2 days later after standing 7 deep in a line in the pharmacy I learned it had not been done. I hope I don’t have to deal with them again.

I got an appointment quick and had a full exam after getting my prescription I went to the front to order my glases. I was told they would arrive in two weeks after a week an a half they called to tell me that my glasses failed the last test. I reintegrate tha ergencey of the glasses since I need them for work its been almost four weeks now still no glasses. When I called to inquire about them I had to leave a message they still havent called back. I will never use them again its a shame I really liked the doctor.

Christan was able to get us an appointment same day to have a foreign body removed from my grandfathers eye. She was great at the front desk and very friendly. Dr. Hawkins is an amazing doctor. Great bedside manner and very professional.

Dr. Artrip at North Augusta Eye Care is kind, friendly, knows her specialty quite well, and actually takes the time to answer my questions and listen to my concerns. Even after I’ve asked 10 questions, she always ends her answer with, “Is there anything else that I can answer for you?” We need providers who pay more than the usual attention to their patients. I would strongly recommend her!

I went in to see Dr. Smith for safety prescription glasses. My experience was awesome. He was very thorough with my exam most importantly, to the point where he asked about my BP. It just so happen my blood pressure was high and after Dr. Smith I had a Dr. Appt addressing my high blood pressure. Dr. Smith has a personality youll never forget. Extremely nice!!! I would recommend anybody 😊

If you have anything stuck in your eye this is the doctor to go to. I was in immense pain all night long and I called at 9 am and the same day at noon he was taking it out. He constantly talked to me to keep me calmed down, gave me a water and a breather for a second. Absolutely A1 service at an very affordable price. Much better then the other eye care I went too. You can definitely tell Dr.Smith is no longer running the business...sat for over an hour and 15 minutes waiting on my appointment, $2,200 for two exam and three pair of glasses outrageous and then when I call and tell us our glasses are complete to come pick him up I drive an hour and from where were staying and theyre not all there and only two pairs of three that we ordered and the best answer I could get was hey were sorry...complete terrible and awful experience would not suggest to anyone to continue to go there I know I ran into two or three people while I was there that didnt realize dr. Smith was no longer there and their comments were basically the same as what Im saying or my suggestion is, dont go there find a new Dr...

No, just no. It shouldnt take 5 visits and 4 fittings to get contacts that correct my vision. I still dont have correct contacts btw. Smith keeps prescribing me lenses that are not powerful enough. Not to mention my son has been wearing glasses that have been attempted to be corrected 3 times now by the office of Dr. Smith and still arent correct, as the pediatrician brought it up to me that his vision was 70/20 in one eye. Dont waste your time or your money.Bottom line:I am STILL in need of contacts that correct my vision from blurry to clear. (First visit 8/07/19 today is 1/11/20)My son STILL needs glasses that will make his vision clear in one eye as he is having headaches. (First visit 8/20/19 today is 1/11/20)

Change of ownership and new computer systems = 30 minutes waiting versus zero in the past. Hopefully in the coming months they will work through these changes and not over schedule patients. If not it is time to find a new optometrist
