Ive been going to this gym for like 3 years now on and off, and it was good when I was first starting my fitness journey but now that Im starting to take it to the next level this gym doesnt suit my needs. Good luck getting a machine after 6pm, it gets PACKED to the point where all you have left is dumbells - its especially worse when people come in groups and half of them arent even doing anything but texting.

No one is required to wear a mask. I get it, it’s more difficult to work out with a mask. But it’s also going to be more difficult to work out if you get COVID. Planet fitness down the road requires masks so I feel much safer there and will be going to work out there.

I wish Youfit had more locations. It will justify getting a Lime Card. This location always have friendly staff that greets you Everytime you walk in. I always see the cleaner walking around making sure everythings clean and disinfected. The members are good people as well as people tend to know one another.

Youfit is fine with stealing you money. My location was shut down in March. Never refunded all the monthly charges. I completed every form that required. Waited over 3 months. No refund. The only contact is thru email which they do not reply to. My last 2 email have been ignored. From 3 weeks ago. Spoke to the manager for this location. Was informed I was going to get contacted thru 3 mail . That was also 3 weeks ago. Went today in person . I get the usual nothing they can do. Only to contact corporate thru email. The same one they dont reply to. The 1-800 youfit-1, customer service number only direct to you local club in which the club can not help you in any way. Such a shame from my favorite gym to a nightmare.

If you are looking for a gym that is clean, safe, has a variety of machines and a comfortable payment plan, Youfit Norcross is your place. The manager, Joann Delarosa makes sure that everything is running well in the gym. Joann is a very kind and cordial person. She’s always motivating you to reach your goals. The equipments and machines are constantly being disinfected especially with everything that is going on. Youfit also has amazing trainers that push you beyond your limits. I highly recommend working with Tameka Asiedu. She is an excellent coach. She is very professional, constantly motivates you to move forward and is attentive that you do not get hurt. She explains everything before working out, listens to your needs and always has the answers to your questions. I also recommend Nick. He is an excellent coach that knows the answers to your questions and motivates you to train more to reach your goals.Overall, Youfit Norcross has a great team! Thank you to joann D, Nick P, Tameka Asiedu, for being so welcoming!

Like many reviewers below. I’ve experience poor customer service and communication with both staff and management. I too sought a refund for charges made during the gym’s closure due to COVID, and for charges made when the gym opened after I repeatedly asked my account be frozen until further notice. Multiple calls to the gym to speak to the manager were answered with less than enthusiastic staff, who it seemed did not want me to speak to the Manager, Joanne Delarosa (JD). After several calls, and not receiving a return call, I drove the 20 minutes to the gym to see her personally. My refund request form was signed by myself and Joanne on 9/9/20 and I was told I would receive the refund within 6-8 weeks. As of 10/5/20 I had still not received my refund. As done previously, I telephoned the gym and the staff was unfriendly and seemed to not want me to talk to β€œJD”. I was told she would return my call but after not receiving a call within a reasonable time period, I drove to the gym and asked to see her. After waiting ten minutes, JD saw me in her office. I informed her of her staffs behaviors when calling the gym, and reminded her that this was the second time I’d had to drive to the gym because she had not returned my calls. She supported her staff and didn’t apologize for not returning my call. She made a phone call, I presume to corporate and I was informed that the gym had β€œcutoff” refunds on 9/5/20 and since my request was submitted on 9/9/20, I would not receive one. Why did she not know this when we signed the agreement in September? In any case, I was informed that I was eligible for a credit to the gym. However, I informed her that I would not be returning to the gym and that I was done. I have never encountered such a blatant disregard for proper customer service. As mentioned in the other reviews, it is my opinion that the manager is either incapable of managing her time, and/or simply does not care about customers. Neither does she seemingly know how to manage business details or her staff. I would NOT recommend this gym if it was the only gym open.

Just canceled my account because since almost other gyms were opened up and no words from them when to open. My coworkers and I already gave up and signed up other gym. None of us received any notifications they were closed and when they slowly open and just continue to charge all members. During quarantine, I received a new credit card so the one they have on file already expired. SOMEHOW THEY CAN STILL CHARGE IT, UNBELIEVABLE. Theyve been charging me 4 months and they can only give credits and no refunds because they need to pay their staffs. Dont we need to pay our families too? AND when I want to cancel, they want to charge me $10 for cancelation. However, after talking back and forth. She was able to waive $10 fee. But who knows it might be charge later on my account since they are very good at DOING it. SO I walked out with no REFUNDS with $50 losses. With the no refunds policy, they will lose a lot of members. I wouldnt asking for refunds if they contact me to ask about my continuing of membership when they opened up. A lot of times I dont go to the gym for month before quarantine and I never asked for a refund or anything because that was my losses for not going. And Ive been a member almost 5 years already.. But this is not my fault. Dont just searching for my new cards to charge it without my permission. They are really behind of handleding the situation. Go somewhere. Theyre not the only one. BIG SCAMMER.****Replying to the response.****STOP LYING TO MAKE YOURSELF LOOK GOOD. FUTURE MEMBERS, DONT BELIEVE THEM. We were back and forth concerning refunds and you said NO so many times and now have a gut to mention about refunds to scam future members. Im done with you guys. Just take my money. I encourage you all to take a trip to this gym . I cant say if youre a gym rat that this is yhe place to be but for those jist looking to start or just keep in shape this is a place to start . Not expensive at all and I might catch some heat for this but in many ways better then planet fitness . Yeah not as big but better weights and a encouraging atmosphere that doesnt require pizza mondays haha . Good gym great people and great atmosphere what else do you want .

I enjoy this place. I love Davids High Intesity Interval training class on Mondays at 730. He is great instructor and resource for information. I do wish they had the ab twisty machine, but the place is still very nice and clean, and they are expanding. Im really excited about what the future has in store. Group classes are awesome, equipment is nice, they just added 2 climbmills. Everything is clean. Childcare is superb, my son loves to go, he loves the place and Amelia is the best, she takes the time to play with him and always makes sure that kids are safe (no toys laying around or kids climbing etc) I like to go in the morning, usually there’s only my son and another kid or two, sometimes three. If you have a kid that you’re bringing with you just make sure that you bring his/her birth certificate the first time you come because you will need it. ~Nayeli

Signed up because of the convenient location and price, after all I just need a place to get a quick workout in the morning while still too dark to run. But it has now been 8 months in total for which I have gotten overcharged. I have called, emailed and shown up in person in hopes of a resolution but have yet to hear back from a manager, as they are the only ones that can assist with this. The front desk staff is super sweet but cant do anything other than look at your account. I get it, cant beat $10 a month even when half of your equipment is not working but this is absolutely ridiculous. Havent tried to cancel yet because am sure they will need $10 to do that, which the front desk staff will be glad to take with our without a managers permission.

Ive been coming to YouFit since July and I dont really have any complaints. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. They all make sure you are satisfied with each of your visits. So far from my experience here Id say they make the gym fun and everyone needs that motivation to keep on coming in. The staff encourages members to get more involved as far as taking group classes and or getting personal training. I love coming in the mornings, its not as crowded than it is in the evenings. If youre looking for a nice small neighborhood gym filled with familiar faces then this place is for you.

My husband and I signed up for a membership here less than a year ago. At first it was like any other gym, you go in, you work out, then you leave. Then the staff started to recognize us. They are all fun to interact with and truly care about their members. What really set us over the top with this gym is the interaction we had with the two directors, Robert and Carlos. They helped us design a plan and assigned us a personal trainer, Sam. Sam really took our one on one sessions serious and created a workout and meal plan for us. He showed us how to do the workouts properly and was patient but supportive. Unfortunately, we left the area, but we recommend this gym, and Sam, to anybody who is committed to getting healthy! -Lily and Marshall ;)

I have been coming for a little over a month. This was my first public gym experience outside of college. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They absolutely are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. I feel welcome and comfortable whenever I walk in here. I love the people, the trainers, the availability, and the entire atmosphere. Having access to all of the classes is a big bonus as well! Extremely affordable and high quality :)

Not happy with services at all! During the time I enroll to the gym the services and Zumba classes were very bad. I stop going to the gym for the fact at they dont have good Zumba teachers in the morning. Never complaint and left my membership running.Today, I called the gym seeking for help: for either to put my accoun on hold to cancel it due to medical emergency, and they refused to help even I explained clearly I am not working and can leave my home. At the end of the conversation, I was suggested to send any estranged with a letter and $10.00 to cover the cancelation fee asking to cancelled my account, why or whom would provide their private information to a staranger for $.10.00dollars.

I had to cancel my membership today after 3 months as they seem to be make rules as they go that affect other members due to the insensitivity of other members.This location is not very large, theres equipment all over their entire gym with the exception of 3 rooms: The childcare area, the room that they use for the classes that they offer, and another room with kettle-bells, dumbbells, medicine balls, and battle ropes.When I initially became a member I was shown around their entire gym. I knew going into the room where the classes are help without a trainer was a no-no because I was told not to and they have signs telling you not to use it without one and that was fine.My routine was always the much the same. Warm up with my girlfriend for 20 minutes on the treadmill then go off into the side room where the battle ropes were to do a series of workouts out of the way of the rest of the gym goers as their isnt much floor space. I know most of the staff by name and they also knew me and would often wave and say hello when theyd see us working out. After our workouts wed always put the equipment back and go on about our day.Today started out like any other day and we warmed up for 20 minutes then went on to the side room to use the battle ropes, medicine balls, etc. 2 other gym members also joined us in the room to workout and about 15 minutes in, one of the workers came in and said as of today (I assume today as I worked out in the same format yesterday with no problem), we were no longer allowed to use that room because other gym-goers were leaving the area out of order. I mentioned that we had never left the area untidy as we were always sure to put any equipment used back into their proper places but she said I should go up to the counter and speak with someone else. So, I did and she basically said the same thing the first young lady told me without any resolution (which is poor management and business practice because there ARE cameras in the facility as well as a number of employees on site, and rather than kindly asking customers who were abusing the area to stop leaving equipment out, they treat everyone as if theyre children and take the entire space away unless youre being supervised). As such, I asked to cancel my membership as at that point, the gym is just a room full of cardio equipment and free weights with no room to do hiit, or the use of the battle ropes, medicine balls, or any of the other great equipment any half decent gym makes accessible to their members. What a bummer.

Cheap price but you pay for what you get. Fluency in Spanish would be very useful. Other than that bathrooms and locker area are clean and cheap monthly dues. Was told my Haggar golf shorts were inappropriate attire and next time I wore them I would be turned away. While other men had jeans and heavy long pants were not told. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is the absolute worst. Management is ignorant of applicable programs and the staff seems to have no knowledge of anything. They reference a spreadsheet that is not current on a daily basis and tries to upsell at every opportunity. Not to mention that getting in touch with their corporate team is akin to climbing Mount Everest. Theres apparently a cancellation fee even for free memberships. Most of the machines are inoperable and the space is subpar as far as cleanliness goes. Run to your nearest LA fitness or ANY OTHER GYM. Youll thank me later.

Even Comcast, who had songs of the worst customer services reviews is easier to deal with than these guys. Oh, month to month means contract to them, not sure who taught them English. Dont ever give them any bank info, youll have to cancel your account.

I moved out of state and have no locations to transfer to. I tried to see what my steps were to cancel and was just told I have to send $10 and a certified letter in the mail in order to cancel. She charged my card after I told her to remove that card information, while she is using this as a training moment for Makayla who just sat back and laughed. Youfit has been a huge support in helping me lose weight, lower my blood pressure and cholesterol. I’ve already lost several pounds so far this month and am feeling younger and more energetic already. The YouCoach program I selected during my assessment with David and Arnold has been really enjoyable. My coach and I do a good mixture of exercises that keep the workout fun. The workouts always push me to move out of comfort zone without overdoing it. When I’ve had a long day or even week and feel like skipping the gym the YouCoach team is always keeping me accountable and motivated. I couldn’t have done it alone! Thank you so much David, Arnold, Coach Nick & Youfit!

Manager Sean McGeehan is very unprofessional. My wallet was stolen with my credit cards and it took me a while to get everything straightened out. Youfit called me and I explained what happened. They seemed to understand, the manager got on the phone and stated that it appears that someone at the call center increased my rates and they needed to contact them to see why before they took any payments. I waited and never heard back and then all of a sudden I get an email from Sean McGeehan notifying me that Im being sent to collections! What! Seriously? So I called them asking to speak to him and he wouldnt come to the phone and instead had another staff member assist me. She didnt care about the conversations I already had with previous staff/management, but instead just gave me two options, first she said I can pay off the $30 which would take it out of collections but then came back and said it was actually $60....or, I can pay the $60 plus $40 and have the membership reinstated. Are they kidding??!! Its all about the money for them. Never again!

Their staff dont make you feel welcome & I think theyre speechless. I used to go to planet fitness, they are way better than this. Finally i cancled my membership last week I had to pay $10 i thought that was it, but no! BE AWARE OF THEIR NASTY CANCELLATION POLICY, because today after a week of cancellation they charge me $20 monthly membership & $39.99 annual membership, they said youre responsible of any upcoming fees within 10 days after the cancellation date! Horrible!!! 😠 Had to cancel my membership after 3 years of paying on time. What I got to do was pay a $10.00 cancellation fee + my regular fee that will be auto drafted on 11/20. I wish I could give a zero rating. No thanks, for being a loyal customer at all. NEVER AGAIN BUYER BEWARE MAKE SURE U READ THE CONTRACT FULLY. Oh and they take your bank account info, so u have no choice but to pay, so beware bout that too. Already called my bank, yall better not charge me passed 11/20 or youll have hell to pay, come December. Someone reported on the yelp reveiews, you did that to her. Smh!

I am a white male visiting my family from arizona and the deluth location where I had a free membership for the next 10 days closed.. this lady tried making me pay 30$ for a membership.. like really babygirl.. your 15000$ a year paying job.. live your life. Dont be so hateful

The only thing that is disappointing is that theres no wifi. Especially being where its located, there isnt even signal if you want to use your phone data. They should really consider making their customers happy, not just their staff. The internet should really be available to everyone.

I started going to youfit with my mother, one day i went to the doctor and got tests done and my results were alarming my mom took the action of taking a memebership on youfit, in the beginning i didnt want to go with her till one day i stepped on a scale and saw that i was on my heaviest i literally hit rock bottom i had to do something for my own health i was border line diabetic. I keep going to youfit because not only do i feel comfortable going to the gym but i feel motivated by seen how the crew works with other ppl just like me that came for the same reason i came to you fit... Ive seen the results of my hard work and the motivation they have given me I LOVE THIS GYM AND I WOULDNT CHANGE IT FOR ANOTHER ONE...

My gym nice and small so i go before 6pm because after then its just over crowded with people just sitting on the machines looking at there phones socializing where you cant get a good workout.
