Terrible service, they charged me $550 for a tune up! Oil change,spark plugs and wipers!! As soon as I drove off my car stopped near 85, brakes didn’t work cause engine stalled!!! Unbelievable! They could have caused me a car accident, I called them and they dared blamed me for taking the car!?! They said all work was done the day before but it need an exhaust system replacement ( they say), well it needs an exhaust system replacement now after they touch it!!told them just don’t do it but they messed up with the car’s exhaust system now it makes a very loud noise that it didn’t make when I dropped off the car! Terrible customer service! Terrible work ! They don’t care about their clients lives! I could have been killed! All that care about is charging customer for work that they performed very very badly,overcharge for performed work and or charge for non performed work and try to oversell items and services that are now t needed! I will never return to Mavis and I’m seriously considering a lawsuit as they show negligence and disregard for my safety and life on the road!!

Came here because my tire kept losing air slowly. Spent three hours on a Saturday waiting for them to fix my tire, because it turned out it had a nail in it. Unfortunately, they didn’t fix it correctly, and on Sunday I woke up to a completely flat tire. I tried to refill it with air, but you could clearly hear the air leaving the tire, and had to put my spare tire on. So I had to return to the place on Sunday to have it fixed again, and had to wait another 3 hours. Wasted about 6 hours of my weekend just to have my tire plugged. And that’s not including the time I spent putting the spare tire on my car.

Best Mavis in town! I drove around looking for the best prices to service my vehicle with an oil change and received top notch customer service with affordable pricing! Alex was very informative and knowledgeable about the next necessary steps to keep me safe on the road! I will be returning in the nearby future! Thanks guys

I must say I’m very upset about how today went. I stopped in a little after 8am for check engine light. They told me I needed to call Nissan because it’s the fuel temperature sensor and it’s covered under warranty. I explained to them that the car is out of warranty due to the year. But they insisted. I went home, called Nissan and exactly as I thought Nissan did not cover it. I then called back around 8:45am to get a quote to fix the car. The gentleman said he’ll have someone call me back because they were busy. 10:15am I call back, and a lady answers she stated she’ll call me back. 11:09am she calls back to get the VIN # of the car then states she’ll call back with an answer. 12:30pm I called back again and the guy told me the cost would be $1,800!!! That’s ridiculous! I just left Nissan in Duluth it will only cost me $400! It took 4hrs to get me an inaccurate quote. I’ll never go back!

Not the first but second time I had a bad experience with Mavis and the store specifically. Yesterday I called about having my tire repaired. The man I spoke with informed me they weren’t that busy and agreed to set me up on a ticket to get started. I asked him about his location if he was next to the Wendy’s on Jimmy Carter, to which he replied yes. By the time I got there they were busy. Then the same man that I spoke with on the phone ( I recognized his voice) lied to me and told me I spoke to an operator in New York City who didn’t call and confirm how busy they actually were. He informed me it would be around 4 hours before somebody would repair my tire because there was only two people working. This man doesn’t realize I work in the automotive retail industry as well. I know exactly what happened he caught a bigger sale between that phone call and me coming in. Which I don’t appreciate at all he made a commitment to me and started a ticket. Then he lied to me completely unprofessional.The tire fixed that I had only took a good year right down the road 20 minutes. They will be getting an outstanding review from me and I warn everybody who is considering this place against it. Again this is the second time I’ve had a bad experience with them.

The entire staff was personable, knowledgeable and well managed. Alex explained the products & services in a way that I understood and made me comfortable with the decisions I made as well as the work they were doing. I never felt like he was pressuring me or just trying to make a sale. He was truly a professional young man.

Tyrone was very courteous and professional. He went above in beyond with keeping me informed all while educating me during the entire process of my vehicle maintenance.

They aligned my tires just fine the first visit so the actual service seems to be on par but when it comes to professionalism they are poor at this particular store at least. I went up there today (maybe bc its Sunday) 8-22-21. And no one came to the desk for 8 minutes. So I called and someone in the back answered. They told me they will send someone righ out. Another 10 minutes and another customer asked me if anyone came. And then he went and knocked on the door only for someone in street clothes to say they have a million cars to do and that they cant make an appointment. Just try to be early tomorrow smh. Ill look elsewhere next time

Extremely unprofessional I made an appointment over the phone for the day after the tires we’re supposed to arrive. The tires didn’t arrive and I wasn’t given any notice until I arrived at the shop. I called the following day to see if my tires had arrived they told me to check again the following day. I called again and they advised I could come in the day after that. I went in and they didn’t have the tires... one thing is not being able to have the tires but being told to come in time after time when it seemed like the order was never even placed is ridiculous. I’ve never had a problem with mavis this is just a terrible location and I strongly recommend avoiding it.

Job well done ! I was referred to this store after going to auto parts and had no luck with the staff there. I was greeted by Mr.Rondel who explained to me what was wrong with my car and took my car back to the mechanics and I was out of there in less than 2 hours. The staff was extremely professional and they gave me an accurate estimate wait time for pickup. Prices and tires and work was very competitive. Definitely will be back for future work. The Manager Mr. Burns was very helpful in explaining what recommendations were needed for my vehicle.

HORRIBLE. Literally the worst car shop experience I’ve ever had in my life. Avoid this place at all costs!! I went in for an oil change and an oil service light reset (TOOK THREE HOURS) and when they gave me my keys, MY CAR WOULD NOT START IN THEIR PARKING LOT! I went back inside and they said to wait 15 minutes while they looked at it. TWO HOURS LATER they tell me “we don’t know what happened to your car, but it’s not our problem, you need to just tow it somewhere else.” I have a brand new battery, new alternator, my car worked perfectly fine before bringing it to Mavis and I wait hours just to be told and I quote: “S*** happens. That’s life.” I then asked for help with the tow or a refund of some sort and then I got verbally attacked and yelled at by an employee to “JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!” The worker was extremely argumentative and aggressive towards me and boyfriend, he constantly screamed in our faces and undermined us until we just had enough and had to call for a tow. I also observed the same man being rude to other customers in the lobby while I had waited for my car. Unbelievably rude and disgusting customer service. That man should be absolutely be fired.Not only did Mavis mess up my car, I was also refused any form of compensation, had to pay for a tow to get my car diagnosed elsewhere, and had an employee verbally attack me on top of everything. The shop that diagnosed my car told me they believe Mavis messed up my electrical system, blew a fuse in my car and messed up my transmission selector switch because they did not correctly reset my oil service light. If they did not know how to properly do a reset on my car, they could have simply told me so. I could’ve saved myself over a thousand dollars to repair a problem THEY CREATED. Honestly if I could give them zero or negative stars I would! DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL SCREW UP YOUR CAR AND DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.If a Mavis employee is reading this, don’t even bother to respond to this review. It’s too late for an empty apology. I will be directly contacting the corporate office instead because clearly the people at this location are delusional and will avoid accepting blame at all costs.

I had to get tires replaced and I went there at 7-30 before they even open. 8am I walked into the shop the guy at the cashier was on the phone with his friend while he’s talking to me and he’s not wearing a mask. Anyways I was told the two tires were going to be replaced within 1hr top. 2 hours later wasn’t done I went to the repair guy and he’s like I couldn’t find those tires now I just found them. Conclusion I walked out the shop at freaking 12pm. It took them 4 hours to replace my tires when I was first one inline. Never going to the place again. If I could I would’ve rated them 0 star.

Appointment is super easy to make. Tires were in stock, balanced, and mounted on the truck in an hour. Store follows social distancing guidance with chairs spread out in waiting room and employees wear mask. comfortable sitting area to wait. This shop price matches and were the absolute cheapest place to get quality tires all with a nationwide warranty. If you live far away in the metro area; this place is STILL worth the drive for tires and service.
