This market shares the same owner as City Farmer’s Market in Doraville. The Hong Kong Market has a better selection that appeals to Asians, but prices are generally cheaper at City Farmer’s Market (probably because half of their customers are Hispanics since it’s close to a Hispanic residential area). The most notable difference is that the produce section is much larger (and also cheaper) at City Farmer’s Market.I found some cinnamon sticks (likely Cassia due to red tint) in the European section. The Indonesia and Malaysian section is so tiny that they put it in the beverage aisle.

This is the place to go for all of your oriental and international food items. You can find a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, dry goods, ramen, meats, fish, seafoods, household items, and much much more here. I like browsing the ramen isle to pick up new ramen flavors to try. Masks are required but social distancing will be hard because this place is almost always busy. If you want to avoid the crowds go late in the afternoon or just before closing.

One of the best Asian markets to visit. Lots of smaller Asian markets in my city buy from these people and sell it back. Mostly compromised by the Vietnamese community, but you can still find some good S.E. Asian stuff here. ALSO, try the restaurants around, the taste is really awesome.

My wife and I shop here every other weekend, but last Saturday was probably the worst experience we have had at this store. The moment we entered the store, we went to check out the boxes of mangos near the front entrance. There was an old store maintenance employee by the name of Minh, who for whatever reason was on security duty, who decided to harass my wife when she went to pick the mangos. He had this superiority complex and thought he could say and be offensive to my wife. We called a store employee over and asked to speak to the store manager. Instead, the employee decided to grab another security person named George, who said he was the supervisor. George apologized for Minhs behavior and said Minh was new to the team and lacked proper training. George also promised to write a report and email it to us, but we never received one. I plan on meeting with the actual store manager the next time we swing by the store to address this issue. They need to make sure the security personnel are properly trained and do not harass their patrons. That is a good way to lose business and get on the news. I posted a picture of the security persons ID tag so that other patrons can keep and eye on this persons behavior.

This store is so huge! Full of many options from food court to small little venues to everything an Asian dream market would be. The place was packed and full of people. Everywhere you turn, someone is about to hit you with the cart! The aisles are full of people standing in line. The food is fresh and there was many fruits to choose from. They also have stuff from Vietnam such as heels, herbal medicine, dried fruits/nuts/candy, beef jerky, traditional Ao Dai, and many more. However, the parking is horrible! No one cares about the space in between the handicap parking or a white dash line. If the car can fit, someone will try to park. It was so disorganized. Overall, fun market to go to but parking, check out line, and customer service is really bad.

Wide variety of food and cooking utensils that are hard to find anywhere else. Prices seem reasonable and the store is clean. Checkout takes a VERY long time (I waited 15 minutes). If they close a line they kick everybody out of it instead of capping the end. Theres a 10-or-less checkout line but its not labeled so you just have to know about it. No line checkers or management to direct people to the alternate line, and theres only one. Generally a mess at checkout.

We have been shopping here about several times throughout the last year. Very unfortunately this time was disappointing. We bought a watermelon and a honey melone as well as other fruits. And it seemed they must have been frozen and the thawed. Where very mushy, soggy inside and had no flavor. We had to dispose of them. We will not shop here again.

This grocery store is great! They have a huge variety of items and AMAZING prices. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because of how crowded it is (normally wouldn’t care but it’s a little unnerving during a pandemic) and the fish market can sometimes make the back parts of the store a little smelly. Other than that I would give five stars. They also have a great food court including a place called Angel Bakery that has the most delicious bread and mooncakes, and the store itself has its own bakery items when you come into the entrance.

They don’t have everything, but they are close! If I lived in the ATL, I would actually cease going to Whole Foods with the exception of an extremely short list of items. With all these amazing Asian groceries (they carry more than just Asian grocery items, you have plenty from all walks of life) I’d go to each one until I I found the ONE. The best part is being exposed to certain fruits and vegetables you won’t find at Walmart, Whole Foods, Publix, Kroger, Trader Joe’s, Albertsons, Safeway or Piggly Wiggly. The seafood and meat departments are the same. You will find colorful, flavorful and unique items. I only wish I had a kitchen with me with all my cookware and gadgets. Oh well, life isn’t perfect.

Some of the male cashiers are just plain rude and obnoxious. I think they didnt know i’m Vietnamese and can understand watever they’re saying, so they were talking to each other and making jokes about me when i was there. Well, i must say i’m not surprised since it’s said that you don’t walk in an Asian market and expect for customer service! Besides this, other staffs are extremely friendly and nice. They help me find my items whenever i need to and pay attention to what kind of dish i’m about to cook. They also give me very helpful tips, combination and substitution that i can use. They also have a great variety of Asian foods that you cannot find anywhere else in GA.
