This store has it all, a vanishing breed in N.Y.C., they are both incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Jay is a master mechanic with lighting and does both repairs and custom work. I highly recommend him. Great store!!

We had a very old lamp designed by Mr. Porche. Very sentimental. Pretty cool to this day. The transformer blew and the whole light bulb assembly broke. I took the lamp to Jay. He said he could fix it. It was up and running only a week later. Its perfect. He is great. Positive. Honest. And a master at what he does. Go there!

Great store! (There are two shops next door to one another.) They have all the parts and accessories. I found just what I needed to hang my antique chandeliers and the shopkeeper explained exactly how to put everything together. Sure beats ordering online. Im so glad Canal Street still has a few stores like this!

Everything lighting, bulbs and parts. Knowledgeable helpful staff have provided me great product that doesnt fail for my customers . This industry seems to be filled with a lot of below par products. When I shop here I know Im getting quality. I have some exacting customers that wont tolerate products that do not work properly or provide the right color light. The talented staff here has custom made me with dimmable LED strip lighting that just plain works well. You just cant go to the big box store for the stuff. Canal Lighting And Parts is my source for everything lighting.

Went there to buy some led strip lights and they wanted $180 for 32ft. and thats just for the lights then the guy told me I have to get the transformer that would be Xtra thats when I walked out they must think there on 5th ave I found the same ones on Amazon for $40 and it came with a wifi set up for my smartphone and a remote this place is very very expensive.
