We had a very good experience there :) The owner was very friendly and nice and the store has very reasonably priced items with a wide selection from smaller things like pens to more expensive artwork, shirts, figurines!Everything is about average pricing in a good way- 10$ for t shirts, and towels, more $ for sweaters and jackets and miniature replicas of the city, less than 10$ for other small figures, change purses, pens, etc.You’ll have a good time here :)

We have been there for the first time this morning and I was amazed by how polite and welcoming the staff was. They also gave us an additional pen, key chain and postal card as an additional free gift, which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend.

This place is the bees neez! Albert, the owner, has been in the business for 35 years and he is as sweet as pie! I got the recommendation of Google on my first trip to NYC. And it was the best choice I could have ever made. Although small, MONY features a wide variety of souvenirs to meet every tourist need. This shop features a clearance section for budget shoppers like me. There are kids shirts 3 for 10$ and adult t-shirts starting at 5$. He also gave away a free souvenir pen with every purchase. But even more than that, he gave my 8 year old daughter a bunch of free souvenir items to take home (a calendar, stickers, snow globe, crayon box, etc). He was incredibly grateful for our patronage something thats kinda of rare for the New York scene. Albert is awesome! Definitely go check him out if youre in the area!!!!

My daughters and I visited this store in April while looking for keychains. The store has a great selection and reasonable prices for souvenir items which are most times a bit more than regular items. The owner was so friendly and he really made our day with his pleasant attitude and smile. We will definitely go there again and highly recommend to others. You should be able to find whatever type of souvenir you are looking for at this store

Best souvenir shop in Manhattan. The man who works there was named Alpert I believe, and he was so kind and helpful. The store is filled with lots of cool stuff to choose from. The best part was the conversation and that he gives everyone a free gift whether it’s a pen or a mask or a shot glass! Need more good people like Alpert on this planet.

I am a local and went in to get a few post cards for a friend and couldn’t believe how wonderful the owner, Alpur, was. I am very happy to have popped into the store because it’s great to see a business that is still afloat after the pandemic and an owner with such hope and a positive attitude that NYC will be back! The owner was the cherry on top of our trip he was the most sweetest and comforting man. We walked in our first time ever in NYC in May wanting to take souvenirs for family & friends he suggest amazing spots close by and we struck up a good conversation with my bf and I. Including stories of previous vacations, family life, his story, and the history of the store itself I couldn’t believe the establishment has been open for 35 years! He did inform of how Covid did affect business and NYC as a whole we were more than happy with all of our items the total was $130+ we were happy to spend to support a local business. The owner was amazing he gave us so much gifts before We left I couldn’t say no. I would recommend everyone to get their souvenirs here I loved visiting NYC & will definitely come back again!! We told him we found his shop after looking up “best souvenir shop in nyc” and his was first. He was so happy and he shared stories about his achievements. He’s so humble and wonderful. He even gave us a few free souvenirs. We loved his positivity and spirit. We hope to meet him again the next time we come visit NYC. :)

I visited this store just to experience talking to Alper as many of the reviewers mentioned about the ownerss kindness and truly it was not a bummer. The 70+ year old still working 7 days a week happily inspired me. He certainly enjoyed giving a bunch of little things to our little one but more than that his appreciative words, loving attitude with people and blessings in words and thoughts from a happy elderly man uplifted my spirit adding a dose of positive vibes. It felt like visiting a local mom and pop store to me making a connection rather than typical business focused store. The things are priced right, saved time negotiating from 300% then coming to 100% in a typical China store. Options were wide too. It is located in a beautiful area near Madison Square park with views of Empire State and the beautiful Flatiron building and next to Lego shop and Eataly. Highly recommend! I will certainly stop by to say Hi to Alper in my next visit to NYC.

This place is honestly the best!!! They have EVERYTHING you may be looking for. Best New York souvenir shop and conveniently located as well! All the souvenirs are packaged neatly in boxes and bubble wrap and well presented for gifts. The owner and staff are soooo friendly and helpful. RALPH JR is a delight and he gave us a calendar of New York which was photographed by himself and explained a bit of the history of newyork. The prices are fair and variety is WIDE. Spacious souvenir shop in the middle of New York, conveniently placed on Fifth Avenue. We found some quality key rings and other stuff and the owner might just be the nicest New Yorker Ive ever met. If you need gifts to take home for a loved one, this is the place to get them.

I bought about $20 worth of souvenirs (5 or so items), and the owner gave me a free pen for my purchase, and gave me a very sincere thank you. Apart from merchandise at great prices, the ever-present owner may be one of New York City’s biggest boosters—loving the city and its visitors in equal measure. The man must see hundreds, maybe thousands, of customers every day (the store is a stone’s throw from the iconic Flatiron Building) and after 18 months between visits, he remembered us!

Great souvenir shop with decent prices! They have some pretty great deals on T-shirts as well as fun jabs at NYC pop culture. Im giving this shop 5 stars because of the owner, he is among one of the most honest and kindest business owners I have met in New York City.
