The staff is amazing! Very professional and accommodating. I was to meet someone but I arrived about an hour before my guest. Alex was so polite and accommodating. He allowed me to sit and wait with a nice cup of coffee which I enjoyed very much. I love my leather, it’s great quality with an affordable price tag!

First of all; I LOVED the smell of the genuine fine leather they carry. They have so many beautiful and fine leather pieces. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me find the right leather to cover a barstool.

My 20 year old couch can’t be replaced so well made. Scoured the Internet and found District Leathers. Alex sent me photos of swatches, numerous swatches all labeled. He checked in. I ordered District Leathers pigskin suede after being very disappointed with the faux stuff that I purchased from another vendor. I’m so happy I found DL. The skin I received is just the thinness I need and the red color is absolutely beautiful. The price is great too. I’ll be able to make several clutch bags from this one skin. A great size with minimal waste.

The space is light and bright so you can easily determine the quality of the leather... which is great! The owners are student and small business/starter company friendly. They are extremely knowledgeable and if not, will refer you to someone who can. They really go the extra mile in customer care and worth a stop by... or call... or an email.

Making my purchase was an incredible experience!!Starting with the personal attention provided, they were very helpful and patient, always providing great advise while choosing the pelts. Pelts have an amazing quality and there have infinite options. Owners are knowledgeable with the leathers and which one will work best with the products you are turning them into. The showroom is open and clean and very organized, making it easy to shop and not get overwhelmed. The company seems closed, I placed the order on 3/19 and paid one day shipping to Brooklyn, I waited for 5 days and never received the item. I understand the time is during the epidemic outbreak, I know the delivery could be delayed, but they should not accept any online orders. It wastes a week of my time, and I need to order leather from other companies. Consequently, from one day shipping to half month time wasted.

Great selection of leather. The staff is very helpful (they will walk thru their inventory with you, making sure you get the leather you need), accommodating (they will open off hours if you call them in advance) and very knowledgeable (they helped me understand the leathers behavior depending on the type they were showing me).
