Yesterday, I had possibly one of the worst sales experiences I’ve ever had in a luxury store. I came prepared with a short list of styles and sizes I wanted to try on. When I walked in, no one assisted me so I aimlessly began looking for coats. One associate snapped at me that I was looking in the wrong area, but didn’t offer to help me. It took another few minutes of me asking around before a sales associate offered to pull the coats I wanted to try on. From there, he continued to pull different sizes and fits for me with nothing but a poor attitude and lots of eye rolling. My girlfriend helped me try on the jackets and suggested different fits and styles….but frankly, he should have been the one doing that. He didn’t even manage to say three words to me until I was ready to purchase my jacket. Despite the bad service, I wanted to get my jacket before the winter. I understand it’s a busy season for Canada Goose, but this is a luxury store and the service I got was worse than I get at fast food restaurants. To be frank, if I’m spending 1400 dollars on a jacket, I expect the base level of kindness from the salespeople.

Super helpful and friendly staff, they helped me repair my down jacket for free when they didn’t have to. The follow-up service was great and the fix was excellent. I highly recommend a piece of Canada Goose to stay warm and healthy during the winter. My favorite one is the mystique parka, the longest and the warmest option!

After I have sent my coat to the repair center of Canada goose for minor repairs I received it duller and completely discolored back. They caused this problem and didn’t give me a solution for it.When I have sent it back to the repair center of Canada Goose in Portugal for a second review I received the answer that this is the real color of the garment that came up after the Canada Goose repair center dry cleaned it. I refuted this with photos and evidences. You can see the real color on the folded place like the hood flap. They gave me another answer that this is dirt by own doing which is not true. I dont live in a desert, but in a city. I have sent in a proper state and received it discolored back.My garment is 1 to 2 years old and I cant even wear it now. I am very disappointed.

18:57 security not letting me in. Telling me if it’s fair if at my job someone come in 3 minutes before official ‘end of day’ for something.I worked till 1am last Friday. Why does the average retail worker not get rich? Never gonna get rich doing this for sure. Lost a few thousand dollars for Canada Goose unfortunately. I can’t see anyone with this work attitude surviving in demanding jobs like banking, consulting or tech.

I went to get my coat dry cleaned which is still valid service on canadagoose.com. i checked before going to the store to drop off my coat, the person told me they dont offer that service anymore. i had to call the warranty service again and the call center representative informed me, i can still drop off my coat to the store for dry clean service. i dont have the persons name who gave me the wrong info, i will drop off again soon, and see. that person in the store needs to be informed better and stop giving the wrong information. horrible. wasting my precious time!

To be avoided, the reception is miserable and lacks felxibiliter, everyone follows you as if you were a thief, without the slightest smile and they lack patience because their only concern to sell you as quickly as possible, to finish the guarantee n is a false advertisement, I bought a jacket after a week I saw that there was a serious manufacturing defect I called the brand in Toronto at the time there was no point of sale, I had bought it from the paragon sports store in Manhattan union square, they told me that I wash them knowing that the defect was there and I realized three days later, I still have the jacket that I have not worn them since and Canada goose refused to replace it,

Pretty good experience store but badly managed. I had to wait two hours in the freezing cold. Only to find that once inside the store was at half capacity. They seem to have some policy where you have to have a salesperson per customer which is ridiculous. This prevents you from browsing the store on your own and finding something that might catch your eye. Instead you have someone consistently over your shoulder which is really annoying. If they just open the doors like a normal store it would be fine. Any company that thinks its cool to have their customers waiting outside in the New York winter needs their head testing. The whole supreme thing was two years ago

Workers are well mannered and treat customers with respect. I came on a weekday and there was a line to get inside. A worker is responsible to be with the customer the whole time which I totally understand since each item is very expensive. The worker I was with was very helpful and made sure I got the exact jacket I wanted. She did not disappoint when I came in with one idea and lead me to get something else which was way better. She made sure it fit me perfectly and steamed my jacket after purchasing

My wife and I bought this Canada Goose Rossclair coat on October 29, 2018 for our sister as her birthday gift. The coat didnt fit her and she didnt like the style. So, we brought it back to the SoHo store today on November 6th, 2018 after 8 days to return it. Their return policy is 30 days. They inspected the item and claim that its worn and they cannot sell it to another customer. We spoke with the manager, Mathew and he declined to take the item back. We then called Canada Goose customer service, they spoke with the manager and the manager still didnt accept the return. This is ridiculous!! I have uploaded the pictures of the coat so you could see the mint condition of this coat. Since October 29th till today, the weather in NYC was 50-60 degree F. Nobody would wear a Canada Goose in this weather. When we bought the item, it was the last item in the store and it looked little dirty as lot of people must have tried it on already. But since we liked the color a lot, we ended up purchasing it and my sisters birthday was right around the corner. But today they were saying that the coat had no dirt on it when they sold it to us. They are doing this on purpose. They should just mark all their items final sale instead of putting a 30 days return policy. Its a trick!! We will fight for this as we know that they have done injustice to us. There is no way they could claim an unworn item to be worn. This is just wrong!! There is no use of this $1,034 coat since it doesnt fit my sister and its also not my wifes size. We would like Canada Goose to address this issue. We will spread this to our friends & family so that they think twice before purchasing anything from Canada Goose. Very disappointing!!!

I’ve been to both their stores in NJ and NY. I was very excited to finally visit the NY store but to my disappointment it was more like the Walmart experience. I had way more knowledge about the products than than the staff and had to correct them twice. That had already left a bad taste in my mouth but I proceeded to buy the last limited edition concepts jacket for $1200 after tax. Once home i tried it on again and realized it was too tight. I tried to return for a larger one but was told then and not before that limited editions are non refundable. You’d think they would make this perfectly clear at the time of purchase but like I said the staff was lacking In knowledge and probably didn’t even know what they had sold me. Both Canada goose online and the store manager just blew me off on the matter. Very disappointed from a customer who owns 10 of their jackets. I’ve bought them for my kids, wife, and employees. I even own a limited edition only 150 ever made. This was definitely a smack in the face from what I thought was my favorite company.

Had to wait for about an hour to get into the store because you get a member of staff assigned to you when you get in. The wait was long but having someone there to check sizes or stock made finding the products a lot easier and quicker. I would go back even knowing I might have to wait again to get into the store I would just make sure I gave myself time to wait. The staff are great really helpful and friendly. There was a member of staff outside the store store helping and then when you where in your member of staff was always on hand to help but not hovering over you. As it was a cold day they also provided hand warmers for you whilst waiting in the queue and water when we got in.

It was everything you would expect from an exclusive brand retailer / flagship store Due to Covid19; long wait time outside so be sure you really want the outwear, we waited for one hour in 28° weather. Courteous staff willing to help you find the right jacket. Expect to spend no less than $700-800 for a jacket here.

Amazing staff! Theyre doing a great job with Covid rules. I felt super safe going in and shopping. Hand sanitizing stations throughout and we were asked to sanitize on the way in, before touching anything. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful & I found the perfect coat!

The store was being very cautious to follow COVID-19 guidelines, which I greatly appreciate. The store was clean and careful to adhere to the 6ft social distancing rule. Every employee was CORRECTLY wearing a mask. There was a bit of a wait to get into the store, but I honestly didnt mind since I understand were in the middle of a pandemic. The staff, Wagner in particular, was extremely helpful and attentive. He was quick to answer any questions we had and helped with sizing and finding a jacket that suited our needs.

Waited 20 mins in the rain to get inside, but once I try one on, I can see why. The parkas are amazing! They have different warmth’s for your needs, waterproof and comes with a lifetime warranty. Staff were amazing - only downside was that they were overworked - for the number of customers there, there should be a lot more staff!

So apparently Canada Goose does not appreciate all customers. My daughter a Brooklyn resident ordered a coat online only to receive an expensive jacket in a torn & holed box with the plastic garment bag just thrown on top of the jacket in the inside of the cardboard box. After contacting customer service she received a response of sorry do you want $10 for the (black) box? I really don’t think that if the (gift) jacket was being delivered to an (let’s just say) white or rich neighborhood that it wouldn’t have been shipped out like that. For that rep to offer $10, SMH WOW!!

I think Canada Goose is more expensive than what they offer as a product but it is popular so i joined the line. I went there early in the morning around 11 am and waited for only 15 - 20 mins. Might be little anoying if it rained but thanks god it didnt :) once you are in, everyone is very nice. I especially liked the way they offer a bottle of water to everyone visiting. The service you get might differ a little depending to a staff who is serving you. This is because they are bringing you things that are not on display. So you end up buying what they suggest. A little homework before you arrive, knowing the model of what you wanna buy, could be a big help. Only than you could be sure you couldnt buy what you were looking for. If you know what i mean.

My girlfriend ordered Canada goose from online for me for as Valentine’s gift. We came to exchange in soho 101 Wooster location but they refused to exchange it cuz there is small stein on it. She paid $1060. The manager of this store ( white guy) said you don’t have to buy anything from us.way he talked us was super rude. No greedings, no acknowledgement.mean I run my own business and I never talk to my costumers that way even if they are wrong! So don’t go to this location and meet this rude manager. Go somewhere else and perhaps Buy alternative!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM YOUR MANAGER BRIAN (or RYAN) On February 20, 2021 @ 4:10 (approximately) I went into the Canada Goose location, 101 Wooster Street, New York, to exchange a coat that I purchased for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, I was not able to get to the store earlier for a variety of reasons. Prior to yesterday, I made two separate attempts to exchange the coat. However, on both occasions when I went to Canada Goose on Wooster Street, the line was at least a block long. Please note that during the month of January the COVID numbers in New York was yet again on the rise. I lost family to COVID and having just recently had a death in my family, I did not want to expose myself to crowds and the possibility of COVID exposure. I finally decided to wait for the number to subside after the holiday surge here in New York, (now at 3.4%) and waited on line at the Wooster Street location to exchange the coat I purchased as a Christmas gift. I went into the store and explained that I sincerely apologize and was hoping that they could make an exception in light of my aforementioned circumstances and the global pandemic that we are facing. NYC at one time was the epicenter in the US and the fears and anxieties that are attached are a real concern for many. I was advised that once the tag was removed I could no longer exchange the merchandise, and I waited too long. In fact, I wanted to purchase another coat of greater value and was told that he would not help me with my exchange. To add to this, the manager in the store was rude and obnoxious, his exact words were Cmon you purchased this months ago, its February, really?. Your manager Brians (or possibly Ryan inaudible due to mask) customer service was appalling. I was in retail, and a manager for years and I would never speak to a customer the way he responded. I was so taken aback by his curt response and unwillingness to help he practically dismissed my concerns. I understand you have store policies and there are strict guidelines that are attached. However, having been a manager for years in retail there are always exceptions that can be made. Your manager at the Wooster location needs a refresher course on customer service relation.After leaving the store disappointed I decided that I would take my money down the block to a retail store who value their customers, Mackage and purchased a coat for myself and another coat for my daughter.Hopefully, your manager can learn to use discretion, learn to value his customers, be a little understanding, courteous and display better customer service.Please note that the BBB has been advised of this horrible customer service experience I encountered at your store location.Disappointed

I got a langford parka after I used the jacket 2 times the jacket brokeI have the jacket for 2 1/2 months and broke already the fur is falling out and looks flat from day one.So I made a claim because the so call lifetime warranty Wich is lie .Now I received a email they want me to pay $212 us dollars for the fur on a jacket that is not 3 months old yet really ?Thats lifetime warranty?I read all the page about the warranty and I cant find any information saying the fur is not cover.My fur they send me dont look like the one in the store, I got it onlineI dont pay too much attention but when the jacket broke and I have to pay to send it back pay to get it clean so the money keeps adding to the $1050 us dollars I paid.Now I have to hear that BS that the fur is not cover and I have to pay .Is unbelievable I ask to talk to a supervisor and they dont listen to me .My advice dont buy canada goose they are better brands that really take care of the customerI feel scammed.

THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I tried to make purchase online but for some reason couldnt. I figured Ill just come to the store. I had called them prior to have it on hold and no one pickup. So i ran there right when they close. I saw there are still atleast 4 people in there browsing. I came already knowing what to get and its gonna take literally 2 mins to do the checkout. They didnt let me. And after the security talk to one of the sales person he let me in but told my bf to stay outside in the cold. I went in and address that i was having a bad experience,the security wasnt nice the sales person and her manager defended him and themselves saying they are doing courtesy for me for letting me in. While im trying to make business for them which gonna take literlally no more than 2 mins. And again, there are people there still browsing. Its not like im the last person holding them to go home. When i mention about i had called them they said oh well we are busy when I saw a bunch of sales person just standing doing nothing. And they said if im not purchasing then she can escort me out. Can you believe that??!!! And again i said this bad customer service is bad for your company. And when i said instead of apologizing, you just defend yourself and your team. She said Yes I am. Then another guy came to me and basically i need to pay or leave. This is enough for me and all everybody I know to never put our money on this horrible horrible company!!! With a sad heart i give 4 stars to a place that used to hold 5. I used to remember when they had the long trench coat styles for men and women, but now i cant seem to find it anywhere. I purchased two of their coats years ago and now if i want to get a long coat that keeps me warm while i travel up north i have to continue to wear an aging coat or purchase elsewhere. I hope they bring back long coats otherwise you have lost a VERY loyal customer.

Excellent service, but they don’t have the size or the color of the style I want to try on. They suggested that I call before going there in person, because they restock every week. It’s a good thing to do if you live far away, because then you wouldn’t waste your time. But it’s easy for me to visit them so I probably won’t call.

We went on Christmas Eve, and there was a line to enter. We waited about 20 minutes in line before it was our turn to go in. Once we entered, we were warmly greeted by a sales associate who described the store layout. They had most of the coats from their website available to try-on for both men and women. Additionally, they had a good selection of their other products including fur hats, down vests, sweaters, scarfs and active wear. When you wanted to try on a coat or other product, the sales associate would go and get your size from the back racks. The line to checkout was also long and took about 20 minutes to get through. Again it was Christmas Eve, but this store is very popular. The staff are accustomed to many customers and worked through the lines as quickly as possible. They tried to provide the best service to everyone.

I went to this store to look at winter coats but was surprised to see the store that was supposed to be so chic was actually grungy looking and not as much of a selection as north face jackets? If thats what is chic then Ill find my coats at north face. The store was impressive, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I ended up purchasing two coats both in Black label!! Had to wait in line about 45 mins, which would have been ok if we had a designated sales representative with us the whole time. She was fantastic, but she was helping multiple customers and we had to wait even longer to get coats to try on to make our purchase. We were one of the last ones in the store and felt rushed to make a decision. Overall, we are happy with our purchases, but for the price of their products, we should have had one sales representative with us and they should have limited the number of people they let in.

My daughter was trying a few different style coats and decided on one she liked best. The salesperson says to her the coat she wanted looked a little tight on her so would she like to try the large? She says ok. As she is putting on the large, the salesperson asks my daughter if she would mind if another customer tried on the medium coat she was looking at. She said sure.My daughter then decides she likes the medium better so the salesperson goes over to the other customer presumably to get the medium, but comes back without it and tells my daughter the other customer wants to buy the medium in that color and its the last one in the store! She then says if she wants they have other colors in medium. Is this woman kidding me??? My daughter had the coat first, she never said she didnt want it and she just lets another customer take it??? She never told us she wasnt bringing the medium back. This salesperson couldnt care less that she gave the coat to someone else.Id recommend buying directly online or from Bloomingdales or Saks.

This is regarding transaction#SOHO-SOHO-R08-82558. My friend got the ladies leather rib luxe gloves for me as a gift. I tried to return these in the store; the size small was a bit tight on me and the medium was sold out. I was told that I cannot return it because I did not have the original form of payment. Yes, because obviously it was a gift and all I had was a gift receipt. There was nothing that I wanted to exchange it for so I asked for store credit or a gift card. The lady said that they dont do those. How does this make sense? So either I would have to return it and have the original form of payment, which in this case would be impossible since it was a gift, or I would have to exchange it for something that I do not want. So now, I have to ship the items back to my friend so my friend can come and return it. I dont understand how this makes any sense. This is such a huge inconvenience nor have I experienced this at any other retailer.

First flagship store in NYC, just opened in 2016. Definitely top-tier parka for a cold winter. Fashionable, high-tech, and well made. Loved that logo. I sought out this place after seeing the distinctive logo patch on shoulders of passersby walking the city.

Frustrating to say the very least . Having to wait on a line tried getting into the store 3 different times to only not be able to exchange my jacket because I tried it on an some of my makeup rubbed off on it . All the tags were still in place and the jacket was never worn out. Not cool after spending so much money. As a person who works in retail I would say it’s very frustrating. Also let’s mention the Manager then told the associate that was helping me who was actually amazing that I couldn’t exchange my jacket and he could continue to help me if he wanted too .

I recommend going to Nordstrom for Canada Goose instead. Besides the 1 hour wait to get into the store, the place is pretty disorganized. The salesperson was semi helpful but wasn’t that knowledgeable about the styles. Nordstrom has their jackets organized by style, unlike the flagship store, and have a better selection for men’s jackets.

Normally I dont leave reviews, but I purchased a $1000 jacket as a Christmas gift for my wife on October 3rd, and I called on October 2nd to exchange it for a size larger and they wouldnt let me return or exchange it because it was outside their 90 day window.... by a day. Overpriced, luxury item that will probably be out of fashion in 2 years. I wouldnt waste a dime on this garbage again. Poor customer service. I went to the store before it opened and still stood in line for over an hour. They explained that they wanted to make sure their was a salesperson to help each customer as they entered the store to make the shopping experience better. Tip to Canada Goose. Please put the 5 security guards watching us freeze outside as salespeople on the floor to help sell coats.

Extremely friendly staff, excellent product but... keeping your customers outside in the cold for 45 minutes waiting to get a jacket is extremely inconsiderate. Im new to NY and didnt have a jacket that is fit for this weather. So having to wait almost an hr to get in wearing a small jacket was torture. I was asked what I wanted while in line. I did my research so I told them, they had it in stock and...nothing. I asked for any way to just pay outside since I wasnt needing to shop. Nothing...had to wait. They really be more efficient.

Store is fine, just their staff is not well trained, not very knowledgable about their products, and some are very condescending for no reason, I tried several jackets on to find a correct size, but some of their staff kept talking I told you so...blahblah... on my trying of different sizes. I expected store staff to be helpful but not keeping complaining of my choices...

It was pretty shocking to see a massive line of customers forced to wait outside for 2+ hours while the store appears relatively empty. The security guard, who feels no obligation to explain why the store operates like this, made me feel like this might not be a place I want to shop. I decided to head over to paragon and purchased an alternative.

This company makes the best parkas on the planet. I have used them in some extreme conditions past -98 in the wind with little heat loss to my core. The store is a great place to find these great products and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

I went to the Soho store this morning to purchase my first Canada Goose parka. I did some research before shopping, so I knew which parka(the expedition) I was interested in purchasing. From the moment I entered the store i was greeted with smiles and hellos from all 4 sales representatives Andrea was the rep who helped me with my selection. I knew the basics about the parka, but Andrea was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with things I didnt know. A second rep(sorry, but dont remember her name) also helped with questions I had. I tried on the medium and they suggested to try on the small for comparison sake. I decided to go with the medium in black. I normally dont take the time to review my purchases in stores, but I must say, if you are considering a Canada Goose purchase, you MUST visit the SOHO location. 5 stars from start to finish!

Poor stock, eye-rolling service.Very disappointed with the customers service. Walked in ready to spend. The nice girl helped me to measure few coats, insisting that I am XL. Dear, I am an XXL. After I made my choice, this is the model, this is my color, asked for an XXL navy blue.Sorry Sir, we dont have XXL on Blue or BlackThank you dear, next time I will shrink to XL to fit your inventory.The product is certainly with no doubts the highest of quality.

My wife and I, along with my small toddler children had a disappointing experience today at this location. As we approached the store we noticed their was an extremely long line to get into the store. We got on line but after waiting online in the freezing cold, my wife decided to go to the front of the store to talk to the employee assisting customers. She asked the employee, is it possible if he can accommodate the few families that had infant/toddler children in, so that the children didn’t have to wait in the freezing cold, he rudely replied, no. She asked to speak with the manger, who refused to give his name, if he can use some discretions and allowed the few families with toddler/infants in the store or even add a separate line, he also, rudely replied, no, we do not allow or have and discretion for old people, families with small children and the disabilities and stated it’s company policy. He also told us that we should not bring our kids out in the cold if you know there was going to be a long line. Shame on him and Canada Goose for hiring such an insensitive manger like this. We have spent several thousands of dollars buying Canada Goose coats for our family but after this experience, I highly doubt if we will spend i our money with this company ever again..

Josselin was SO helpful in picking out a jacket that was the right fit for me and gave me helpful tips on how to clean my jacket(I picked a white one) I called ahead of time because I had two styles in mind that I wanted, to make sure they had it in stock. The only downside was the wait outside...it took me an hour to get in but they have a limit to how many customers can come in because you are assigned to a sales rep and have to wait for one to be available to get in.Tip: if you’re trying on a jacket and it’s the last one, KEEP AN EYE ON IT because there are other people around trying on jackets. Josselin was really considerate about putting my coat to a side while trying on other jackets because of that reason. Josselin really made my experience inside worth the wait!

If theres a negative star i will rate them X10 negative. From manager to staff to security everybody is rude. They let the people wait in a very cold weather outside, line for 2 hours and suddenly without notice 45minutes before the stores close the security is screaming that nobody can get in the store according from the manager. like treating the customers like we are getting some food for free. Like we are begging for something free. Canada goose corporate should know that this thing happened. It is so unreasonable. Because you should treat your customers same worth of the money we are about to pay. You should make your customers happy instead. I know everyone in the line are so mad as if they will getting something for free!!!!!

Massive lines outside of the store are now the standard experience for shopping at Canada Goose. You’d think the hefty price tag would be enough to elevate their “high-profile brand status”...It doesn’t matter which time of day you go (I’ve come by at many different times of day including opening time) you will be expected wait a MINIMUM of 30 minutes.And, once inside, the line to check out is equally long.The products are great but go online, go to a retailer, go to Canada (where they’re way cheaper), go anywhere but don’t shop here! Unless you enjoy waiting in long lines for no reason.

The employees are awful at helping learn about different jackets/ finding your sizes. When I asked one to tell me the difference between jackets he started reading me the tag.... i went back twice cus I didn’t feel 100% about the jacket I bought and all 3 times everyone there seemed to be just trying to rush you in and out. DONT GO HERE. GO TO A DEPARTMENT STORE. Not saying anything against the jackets themselves but if you want help /info to decide what looks/fits best, and learn about the styles go to a department store. They don’t know anything here, and it’s their product....When your paying $1k for a jacket you’d expect the retail employees to be friendly and knowledgeable. Very disappointed this is the culture here.

My wife and I have each have coats. They are very warm and the best part about them is theyre real fur on the lining. In really cold temperatures here in Canada nothing beats a renewable resource like fur as a trim near face.
