The customer service is excellent. They communicated really well in terms of your budget, dress preference as well as things thats related to your wedding to help you find the perfect dress. My consultant, Lori, is very helpful in every part of the process, especially in this pandemic. Dont worry that you couldnt find anything on their website, the team will help you find the dress. One of the greatest things that the team provides is their hospitality. Weather you come with $3000 budget or $8000 budget, they wont differenciate you nor judge you. They understand that weddings are expensive. Starting from the arrival, taking the temperatures and giving out gloves during pandemic, they are very welcoming.

I wish I had started here instead of going to Saks (Saks was amazing as well), Monique, Bergdorf, Wedding Atelier, etc. The service at Vera was 5 star and I felt so comfortable from the second I walked into the salon. My consultant Lori totally got me, was very supportive, and built me up from the second we started trying on dresses. I cant say enough about how great my time was with them, which was a huge factor in saying yes to the second dress I tried on. What I love about Vera is that her dresses look amazing on all body types. Going wedding shopping when you arent a size 2 is scary, but Lori made me feel like any and all dresses would look amazing on me regardless of height, bust, or hip measurements. I am so excited to continue the process with them. Also, getting a dress swatch is free here whereas most places charge at least $100. Thank you Vera Wang!

I went to Vera Wang this past weekend while searching around NYC for my dream wedding dress. First of all, the selection in the store was less than average- they only had maybe 2 decent dresses I was interested in and everything else was way too couture/runway (IE red, purples, giant flowers, pieces missing on the dresses) and I kind of felt like it was a waste of time.The worst part of the experience was my consultant, Amba. She was pushy, rude, and made me feel uncomfortable because I didnt love the couture pieces they had. Every time I told her I didnt like a dress she looked like she wanted to roll her eyes and was huffy. She only began to be kinder once I started loving two dress options.The other thing that bothered me is that Vera Wang as a whole cannot accommodate changes to dresses (IE no natural waist if the dress has a drop waist, no swaps for tops and bottoms, no changes to any aspect of the dress- you buy as is).

The customer service is excellent and they treated me like family there. And the dresses are simply amazing.

I was beyond disappointed after my trip to this salon. I had been looking forward so so very much to my trip to New York to try on the most beautiful, unique wedding gowns ever created and my consultant was awful and completely unhelpful. I cant believe anyone, no matter how rich and famous they are, should allow their customers to be treated so rudely. They wouldnt agree to any alterations. All I wanted was a straight across neckline modified to a sweetheart, and it was like I was insulting Veras design. I was told Vera wont want to make it that way and dismissed. When I made it clear that it was a sticking point for me (the neckline was really really unflattering the way it was) I very sadly walked out; I am not paying $7,000 for a dress thats not exactly the way I want it! I knew how expensive these gowns were going to be, I was prepared, but how can you refuse to work with your clients? The worst part was that I kept getting e-mails from my consultant about whether or not I wanted to buy the dress and I kept telling her no because it wasnt going to be the way I wanted it but she didnt get the hint. She was rude and at the same time wouldnt stop trying to get me to buy the dress... Really?? How do you expect to make money like that?! Also best of luck trying to get a dress to fit you if you are above a size 6. DO NOT write off Vera Wang gowns, but do not go to this flagship store. And arrange to get alterations somewhere else (I recently saw the dress I wanted with the neckline I wanted... obviously she did not get her gown at the NY store...)

This is an exquisitely beautiful salon that sells elegant gowns and accessories. The service is very thorough but come on, dont come in if you are just browsing these people earn their paychecks on commission, I dont understand why some idiots dont understand that and then complain about snotty service. Get over yourself.

I made an appointment and went there on time. They asked me the budget. My budget didnt fit their price, so they refused to let me try any dress. If the budget is so important for their service, why not ask when I called for the appointment. It is totally waste of my time. This store only respect on credit card.
