So far one of the best tasting pizza in town. And the Grilled sandwiches are amazing. I recommend this place.

The worst place you can order, and first food won’t make it to you for 2 hours and if it does, it’s gonna be cold and nasty, please don’t waste your time or money.. the worst place ever. I don’t even know how this place is open

If I can rate 0 stars rather than 1, I would. I received my order completely the opposite than I requested. Prior to hanging up the call I repeated my order 3 times and made sure he understood. I get my wings and they’re EXTRA SOGGY rather than extra crispy. My cheese fries? Seems like they put American cheese on top and microwaved it. When I call in, the guy is telling me he made the order to my liking when I am seeing it other wise. didn’t offer to fix the issue, he just kept repeating the same thing. Never again am I ordering from this place again! Such a disappointment!

BEST Meatball Grinder!!! I called and asked if they could deliver outside of their normal delivery zone and they happily accommodated my request! They were friendly, the delivery was fast (considering it was a bit further than normal) the food was Hot, Fresh and Delicious!!! I order from them often. They have great prices. I usually get the pizza wing and cheesy bread soda combo.. the pizza is nice thin crust. the cheesy bread is so good the sauce for the bread I love! The wings are pretty good too. My kids love this place

I wish that I could give this place 0 stars. I ordered fried mozzarella sticks and received fried zucchini mixed in with my mozzarella sticks. I called back with no intentions of getting a refund or anything, just wanting to notify them because this couldve been dangerous if i was allergic. The person I spoke with said we do not carry zucchini, and i cant do anything unless you show it to me. Remind you we are over the phone. After I told him that I threw it away he says, well you have to keep it. Can you imagine? Terrible service. I will NEVER order from this place again.

Dont let the Arch St. Location scare u off Arch St has come a long way and this is a hidden gem. Prices are very fair chicken wings are always cooked to my tastes. Pizzas are very good thin crusts.They have always been very courteous to me and Ive never been overcharged. Excellent meatballs and sausage would recommend to anyone who would like to try a new restaurant.

Very big improvement in over all quality. The pizza used to be super greasy but not anymore. I enjoyed a party size pizza with me family bi- weekly and this place is a definite treat, pizza thickness is not thin at all. Great customer service

Low price and great taste.

Im in town for a wedding and the hotel had their menu available. I ordered before I read the reviews which I almost regretted once I saw the low rating. But truthfully the food came in a decent time. The delivery guy was super nice. The wings I got were still hot when they came. They only thing is the sauce was on the side, which I actually enjoyed once I poured some in the container and gave it a shake. The mild Buffalo sauce was amazing. My meatball sub was OK, not the best Ive had but still great for the price. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to someone visiting the area. Definitely get the wings though, they were amazing and they let me order all flats which I love

LISTEN !!!Save yourself the trip.everything you think can turn out bad about your particular food, WILL.... Buffalo chicken tender sub ...the worst no veggies . No crispy . Gross... Dont do it and I saw the guy handle raw pizza and pick up the phone without washing his hands.. Im done.

We live close to Big Cheese on Arch St. They arrive with our food in a timely manner,its hot and the pizza always looks great,we ordered from Nicks Pizza on Allen St also in New Britain and several times the toppings were all shoved to one side and we put it back together but its ruined because of the drivers taking turns too fast and all the items are tossed around in the pizza box,slow down,Im sure that pie looked great when it left the shop.Back to Big Cheese this has never happened so thats why we prefer this company.

This place might look like your typical nearby ripoff store but once you taste their food you will never think about this place the same as you did before. The Italian magic really is inside there and the pizza is there is just so awesome and really gives you a taste of the reality of pizza.

Got 2 Grinders and the roast beef smelled & was gray not pink like the rare beef I ordered . It was the worst I ever had. There was very little of the spoiled meat the toppings were fresh bread wasnt bad. But the way it was made was atrocious. They didnt look appetizing at all sloppy and miss handled. If I had a dog I still would have thrown them out. The only good part of this experience was the delivery was prompt and courteous even though I paid $2 for it and then a $5 tip on top of it but he deserved it.

Tonight wasnt the first time ordering from Big Cheese but it was the first time ordering their wings. Definitely recommend the wings here. Good pricing and they arent the tiny b.s. wings you get at alot of places these days. Wings are big and tasty,also on the well done side which I love. Also the pizza crust is some of the best around!!! Great job guys.

Hands down: the best pizza in the Hartford area! Thin crust, cheesy, saucey, flavorful! And to add to the appeal: their prices are awesome! You can still get a couple HUGE slices for a couple bucks at this place! I highly recommend it!

Ordered lunch today and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered online and payed with credit card, delivery did not take long at all and the driver was very pleasant. I ordered the Big Cheese Salad and quickly realized I could have ordered a small. I also ordered 2 side orders of meatballs (because years ago I was intruduced to Joey Garlic and fell in love with their meatball salad), unfortunately only received 1 order, but it was definitely enough, and extremely delicious! I will order again.

Unfortunately I have to write this review, for a normally great place to order food from. Today I made an order for delivery at about 3:30 EST, and at 5:30 i called the restaurant to find out the status of my order. The person who answered the phone said that they called my phone multiple times, but I hadnt received any calls. They continued to argue with me and try to tell me that they called me several times. They were extremely rude for the first time, Ive ordered food from here for over 5 years, and I have come to post that no one should waste their time with this place anymore. Best way to get rid if bad business is not to buy into it. I suggest people go elsewhere for their food.

I was so excited to eat at this place since one if the locals recommend it. I saw that the cook was the person who took the orders and answered the phone, and the delivery guy was trying to help out before heading to a run when he handed another person my food! Needless to say I never got my whole order and the service was extremely slow

They always try to screw you over. If I order a small pizza, they try to charge me for large. If I get a sandwich with fries and coleslaw, then the coleslaw is missing, so on...... Dont waste your money, order from somebody else!!!

We order from Big Cheese frequently for meetings, trainings and staff lunches. On average the food is for 20-30 people. The food is very good. Fresh, quick delivery and large portions. Yesterday we ordered a number of pasta dinners. The Baked ziti was awesome and enough for 3 people. Same for the chicken and eggplant parm. Keep up the good work!

I ordered about 50$ worth of food for the 4 of us. It arrived way sooner then the email told me it would, with an irate driver who stated he waited outside for 10 minutes even though, like I said, he was early. He then tried to charge me cash, even thought I had paid with a card.The food was horrible, the fried foods were prefrzoen out of bag- flavorless and soggy from steam. The calamari was extra soggy sitting ontop of warm wilted lettuce shreds. Wings had huge pieces of feathers still in them. We picked at a little and ended up just not eating due to lack of appeal, flavor and just over all quality of the food.I want my money and time back.

Never post reviews, but this place rubbed me the wrong way. Was over 20$ for a Medium Pizza which was not great. They were rude on the phone. Driver showed up blasting his music and beeped to have me come out. This was at 10pm. STAY AWAY not worth the hassle to deal with these people. Their a horrible business who sells overpriced frozen pizza.

I ordered today, the onion ring was cold smh, I ordered one food got the wrong order, then when I called to complain the guy gave me a problem. Worst place to order pizza. If there was a zero i would give these people a zero. They are unbelievable. They take over an hour for a pizza and when you call to heck on your order they speak down to you and hang up on you when they are upset. They are the absolute WORST!! There food are good but they steal from you and always trying to get over . I made a order with my debit card and they took too much off and try to say they didnt but I called the bank to hear all my transactions and they did take too much off and they just dont try to hear it and keep justifying that they didnt. Also I waited months later and try to give them another chance this time I order food and gave the delivery guy 50$ and he gave me no change back for my order because he said i only gave him 20$ and 10$ folded and im crying my eyes out telling no I gave you 50$ and the guy said im calling him a liar and etc and i wasnt, mistakes happen maybe he mis seen it but i really gave him a 50$ bill. honestly it best just to find a better pizza place bc its not worth it at all !!! & they dont care and dont try to fix the probelm at all

I order here all the time, me and my son, we only had one problem and they fixed it right away. The food is always hot, they even vent the fries so they dont get soggy.

This place does not even deserve one star. expected time delivery said 45-60 mins. i called after one hr and the guy, not pleasent at all, said it usually is an hr to an hr & half expected delivery. i got my food a little over an hr later after i called in. Then... the food... just the worst. we order a cheese burger and a pasta dinner. cheeseburger was VERY raw (disgusting) and on top of that it looked like they put a whole jar of mayo on the burger... the pasta i order was overflowing with the alfredo sauce. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. 2.5 hrs of waiting for our food n had no choice but to trash it.

I have never had an issue with this place till last night and i am highly upset and disappointed. I ordered food online over a hour before closing for them to call me 30min later to tell me they wont deliver and since i paid with a card it basically isnt there problem to refund me. This breaks my heart as for i normally spend $40 and up on food when delivering. The man on phone was very rude and disrespectful i would never order here again

Ok late night college pizza

I ordered from Big Cheese tonight. I have to say it was the worst experience I have EVER had. I requested half of a meat lovers pizza and half pepperoni. I got a quarter meat lovers if you can call it a meat lovers. Very little meat ...On top of that the pizza was almost cold. I also asked for it to be cut in squares. That didnt happen either!!! So I called and asked for a manager and was told he wasnt there. So I told the person who answered what happened. He yelled at me and said there was no way that could happen and I was imagining it. He then hung up on me. Im discusted! Dont order from here you will be waisting you money. They are rude and could care less about you or anything for that matter!!!!!!!!
