Recently the College I work for had to have artwork...nearly thirty framed photographs picked up at a private address, and shipped to us some 500+ miles away. You can guess that this was anticipated to be a daunting feat. So many pieces of glass!! I was nervous and in anticipation of all kinds of hitches...maybe some damage!When I spoke with Mr. James Hinckley at UPS 2445, I was amazed by the fact that he was willing to help us with this project without hesitation! When we revealed, further that we would also have to ask him to get some documents signed by our donor as well, he still had no problem with it and did so efficiently.I have to fast forward...or this will be too long :) It was just a great relief working with James. He communicated with us all along the way.Never have I seen artwork packed as well. We laughed at the office...they were so well protected, we said a hippo couldnt have damaged them.They all came quickly, insured as requested, and the service could not have been better.Lastly, James was willing to ship these ahead to us before our check had gone through the process and mailed to him!This kind of service makes one happy that there are still people like him in the business.Thank you James for going this far for us....only superlatives!!I have never been as satisfied with any packaging and shipping experience as I have been with you and UPS 2445...and here I am, a curator of art objects!

Unbelievably helpful, respectable people working here.

I do not care for this facility or their service, not to say that this applies to every employee. I returned an amazon order to them (because they are the only local that carry a contract for the no label return) so I asked them to mail my grandsons bday card. It took several minutes for the employee to figure out the postal service then they charge double for postage. Also my letter was returned for additional postage. I could have been directed across the street to the post office. Today Tried to return 2 lawn mower tires that I received from amazon via UPS with matching labels. I was told I had to pay for the second tire or contact customer service for a second label. I drove to another mail store and had no problem mailing the tires as I received them. Today I also heard one of the employees tell a customer, after informing her that her small package would cost a $100 due to the distance of delivery, that she could go to the post office but she wouldn’t trust them. I asked the employee why she would say that and she stated that the USPS has many issues. I didn’t feel that this should have been done, my opinion.

Very convenient location. Not to busy. Parking can be interested the way its divided between stores and shops.

Very attentive and helpful staff, I seem to always choose to go when they are busy, however, the wait time is usually less than it appears when i first arrive. The parking can, at times, is challenging.

They have always been great for me. Great customer service and very helpful with any questions.

I rarely leave reviews but my several experiences here have warranted one.I am relatively new to the New Bern area, but it all the various places Ive lived around the country, Ive yet to encounter a UPS store that provides such consistently good and attentive service. Any employee, any time of day or day of the week, solid.The owner/manager is to be commended for hiring/training such a solid staff. Props to the entire establishment, you are a benchmark for the company in my opinion. Well done.

Pat and Mack have owned this store for around 20 years. They are so knowledgeable about the shipping business. Their staff is always very friendly and helpful. I would trust them to ship or pack anything. I know that they will treat my package the way they would want their package treated. They are people of integrity and are always giving back to the community in so many ways.

Fantastic! Have absolutely nothing negative to say. I ordered a print job online and within hours it was ready. Much better than Staples. They couldnt even answer the phone when I called, twice. In addition there was no $5.00 RUSH fee to have it done in 48hrs or less!I spoke with Mack, the owner, while I was there and he gladly answered all of my questions and even helped me come up with a more cost effective way to print my workbooks for my social media lessons! He showed me how to order business cards, informed me on the difference in paper quality and even gave me my 2 extra prints (I had made when I went in to pick up) FREE!Will be going back. Thank you for such fantastic service!

I never knew this place offered so much more than just shipping a package...I had to fax some papers to my attorney in Raleigh, NC and I had no idea that I could fax papers but when I need to ship something, they will box the item for me if needed but I prefer to box it myself but its good to know that if Im in a hurry and I need a box or envelope, to mail something, they will accommodate me...Thank you...

Just had my last experience with the UPS Store in New Bern.I made the mistake of having two packages delivered there. On picking them up I had the displeasure of meeting the owner, a sullen, surly little man obviously thoroughly enjoying his fiefdom.I did not particularly mind the $5 per package fee demanded, but took offense at the curt, dismissive lecture about my having used the store for a delivery address. I was also not pleased with his admonition that they would have refused delivery if I had not shown up when I did.I realize now that the store does not receive packages for people who do not subscribe to their mailbox service.I could have learned that in a more pleasant and courteous way.

Used to be great now w/ new ownership & staff, the attention to detail & efficiency has dropped significantly.

They went up too much on the price of the packing peanuts. They are charging $1.00 more per bag. The bags arent filled as much as they used to be. Thats way too much of a price increase at one time. You must not care about your customers at all 😨

The young ladies that work there are wonderful team nice to see such camaraderie amongst employees. It is unfortunate though to watch the owner belittle and degrade their staff. I will not be returning to the store due to such unprofessionalism by the owner.

Okay store, good people, but only place I have ever sent packages from that always asks what is in the box? every time I drop off a package. Pretty sure if it isnt hazardous or prohibited (which is the question I SHOULD be asked) it really isnt anyones business. Again, good store, you get in and out fast, but a little nosey. Hubs and UPS service centers never ask what is in the box? so probably a store policy, but is anyones guess.

I do quite a bit of business at this store, usually the service is great but today Jessica and Morgan were extremely unattentive and even were ignoring me as they talked among themselves. The only person to take initiative and help me was a new employee.
