I asked the technicians to look at my front brakes because there was some squeaking. I had back pads replaced less than a year ago at the facility. They brought me in and said back pads and rotors needed to be replaced. I told them pads were replaced recently and he said oh, let me check again, maybe theyre under warranty... you can just pay the labor then. Then he starts thinking of a price on something (not sure what), says its about $87....$80....$81?..$81? and the other guy interrupts. I stopped listening by this point. I told them just the oil change and Ill figure out the rest and maybe schedule brakes another time. Ill have my friend who used to work on my car look at it. Dont trust anything theyre saying after that experience. I need new back brakes after not even a year? Since when do you need to replace back before front? Its been three years since the front were replaced. Did they even check those? I went to pay and he said $75 (and whatever change) after the $50 coupon applied. Not sure what coupon he was talking about (nor was it on the receipt) or what oil change is $75 after a coupon. I know its full synthetic but $75 is on the higher end of what Ive paid in the past here or anywhere else. And while paying he tells me my back brake light is out also. Not a big deal, I was getting it fixed with the side of the car that was damaged the following week, but who says that as youre leaving? I wont be returning. Also, I felt as though the woman coming in with the flat tire was getting screwed. She asked the difference between the tires they recommended and all he could say was one was rated V-speed...???? I can look that up on a chart online. The way they handled the situation and tried to sell her a new tire (realistically she probably didnt need one from the sounds of it but thats another thing), I have zero trust here. I knew I shouldnt have returned after they lost my wheel locks and tried blaming it on me saying I lost them the last time I was there. Also last time they rotated my tires, they rotated side to side not front to back. (At least they tried rotating them, the other places always skip it even when specifically requested, but come on). Figured Id give another shot after that first experience there because the owner was nice but never again.

Great service, they did my work quickly and without problems. They’re also open on sundays, which is what I need because of work. Very convenient and friendly.

Derrick and his team are the best. I came in on a Sunday with less than an hour till close and he took care of me as if I was the first customer of the day. Very professional, polite, and not trying to sell me anything else I didnt need. His team was great at fixing my tire issues and even mentioned to me about other minor issues they saw wrong with my car and that the last tire company mounted my tires backwards. Again, I could not have been more happier and pleased with an individual and team. Thanks again gentlemen.

I would put none if I could. Wasted an hour of my time. Couldnt put the tires I brought on and instead of calling me or doing the alignment I was also there for they did nothing. Then tried to upsell me expensive tires. Complete waste of time.

Great place to get your car oil change, a great place to fix your car. the manager been there for over 20 years very well rounded man for the business took care of me well and great timing I highly recommend the place. And the bathroom was updated handicapped accessible.

Had a couple small jobs done there last year, great service, reasonable prices, able to make appointment when I wanted. Manager very helpful. Last month had an AC issue which they worked on twice but could not resolve. (Turned out I needed more mechanical work) Despite all their efforts they didnt charge me either time!! I am definitely going back there asap for my oil changes so I CAN spend some $ there, its the least I can do.

I had my wife bring my Mazda3 down for a rear brake job while I was at work. The total came out to $750. 2 rotors and a set of pads on a Mazda3. She was completely taken advantage of. I called Meineke for a quote of the same job after I found out what they charged us for the brake job. They quoted $348. Monro charged twice as much. The corporate office is refunding some of that but it’s sill $200 more expensive than a comparable shop. I will never do business there again.

You know when you have some relatively minor exhaust issue and youre told you have to replace the entire exhaust system? Not at this Monro! Ive been here two or three times and every experience has been positive. Last time with an exhaust leak and I was able to work out an affordable and practical solution to the problem with the manager Herman and the mechanic J.H. I was in and out of there in under 40 minutes. At no point was there any attempt to sell me the entire exhaust system or any up sell at all . The mechanic pointed out some issues that might come up next and I duly noted them. While I was waiting I had the pleasure of listening to Herman field customer phone calls. This guy is a professional, calm, courteous, professional and concise. When I was paying my bill, another customer came in and Herman did not ignore him, but told the gentleman he would be right with him. Old school stuff. Customer Service like it should be. When I eventually do need an entire exhaust system, or new tires Ill be back just based on the way Ive been treated there every time.

Brought my car In last Saturday and Pat took a look at my car. While there I was able to see how he multitasked but giving good customer service over the phone and to customers walking in. He was able to tell me the problem with my car. I brought my car back on Monday morning and by 2pm my car was done. He called to give me pricing before starting the work. When I came in to our he showed me the part he replaced. I will use this place going forward. Pat went above and beyond.

I went in to get brakes/rotors done and they told me I needed another part after they already took it off and couldnt put it back on because it was broken. I ended up spending 150 more than they originally told me it was gonna be. They shouldve been more observant and realized that the part was broken before taking it off and called me to talk about it. They said they couldnt put brakes/rotors on without it so I had to pay for it if I wanted my car sooner. It was very irritating and I dont plan on going back.

Excellent experience! My tire ripped when I exited the highway on a Sunday morning. This Monro was the only facility in the area open, and they were still able to get my car in quickly. The estimate cost was much less than I had expected. I felt 110% respected and cared for.

It was Sunday morning pouring rain and my tire was totally flat. Nothing was open that I knew if so I googled where to fix a flat and Monro Auto Center came up. I called and was told to come and bring my vehicle right away they would squeeze me in. The gentleman I dealt with, I believe his name was Patrick, was wonderful, kind and explained everything to me. He told me that I required not 1 but 4 tires, gave me a fantastic price and I was rolling about an hour later. Couldn’t ask for a better person to assist me. My experience was truly fantastic. I would recommend this location to anyone. You will not be disappointed! God Bless those guys!

I made an appointment for a slow leak in my tire I showed up early and waited to be seen. The Manger took my car in after a few moments and took care of my car himself, everyone was so professional and pleasant. After it was all done he told me congratulations on my new car and no charged me! There was no parking out front and was told to park in the back. Upon getting out of my vehicle I quickly realized the lot was a skating rink and ended up slipping on the ice. When I told the manager what had happened he told me that it wasnt his problem and they have a drainage issue. Perhaps Ill be calling an attorney since Ive had back pain since then...

I was visiting out of town and had some car troubles. With an impending winter storm, other places were too busy to see my car. Monro was friendly and helpful in getting me back on the road safely within just a few hours.

Our tire popped at 6pm and it was raining,on a Thursday night. We were set to drive 5 hours out of state the next morning. It took 45 min to get the dummy on and Monro Auto Service is the only place in the area open until 7pm. I called ahead and they had exactly what we needed. Monro had our new tire on in minutes. They were honest about the wear on the other tires and rotated them so we can get a few more months of use.Fast, reliable and knowledgeable service, I couldnt have been more grateful for their service.

I brought my car here after a bigger chain tried to charge me $700 for brakes that were fine. Called for a simple 10 minute tire repair, was told not busy come down, got there in 10 minutes and was told 1.5 hour wait. Not sure the reason to do this, just left and will never come back .

We stopped by during a road trip when my car started making some concerning noises. They found the problem right away, fixed it quickly, and had us back on the road in no time. My experience at Monro Muffler was perfect. They got my car running good as new and made sure everything else was alright before I left. Brought my old pickup here to get an estimate on an exhaust Y pipe that had a crack and was loud. By the time I got the estimate it was for 2 grand for headers all the way back. The truck isnt even worth that. Took it to another shop in town and they replaced the Y pipe for 350 bucks. When I told the mechanic, he laughed and said you never have to replace headers. LOL. Just sayin.....

I originally brought my Subaru Forester in for a brake job, i had serious squeaking and shaking when driving. Recently as well I knew i needed to replace spark plugs and my ignition coil, originally my husband and I were going to do the latter on our own but while my car was there for brakes I asked for a quote of how much it would cost for them to do them for me. The price was very reasonable and I told them to proceed, IM SO HAPPY I DID. They took the spark plugs out and found oil leaking out due to a crack, we had them fix that as well while they were in there and now my car runs like new. The customer service was also amazing and I will definitely be bringing my car back :)

I was ready to give a 5-star review, the guy at the desk was great however, after I left from having a tire put on I realized they just threw my donut tire in the back instead of replacing it, had to stop on RT 8 to put it away properly. There are some other things I noticed, have a suspicion the shop guys know Jose Quieros (ongoing borough lawsuit)thus a can I had in the back was punctured spewing soda all over my briefcase... happened there, just saying

Staff was very friendly and seemed helpful. However,I had a complete rear brake job done here in July 2017. I went back 1 week after the job and then again a few weeks after the job to complain about the brakes creaking and making a lot of noise. They insisted the brakes were fine. I just had to have the entire brake job redone (despite only having driven about 6000 miles). Hope this doesnt happen to anyone else!

I was at Monroe about 3-4 weeks ago. Edwin Vazquez was incredible!! They did my oil change and then he showed me how bad my tires were !!! They were not safe for driving !!! I got 2 new tires. He was friendly, courteous and very professional!!! I will definitely go back !!!

Got my tires replaced here a couple of weeks ago, and brought the car back 3 days later to have the tires torqued. The workers were great and the process took less than 5 minutes.

I like how they advised me to come back in 1 week to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Worst customer service I ever dealt with the guy behind the counter is extremely rude! I asked him can you make sure they put full synthetic oil he told me he already told the mechanic then he got up was heading back to tell him again while shaking his head like it was a issue cause he was in the middle of a conversation that had nothing to do with work and then went on to telling me I can just have him pull you’re car out! All over me asking him make sure! But I’m glad I did! I waited around for the boss to come down he was No help and a waste of time just as much as the associate at the counter put words in my mouth ! It was a red flag already when the mechanic got in the car and put nothing under him to protect my seats! Which every place I ever been to I’m used to them taking the time out to put something on the seat! I under stand mechanic get dirty and it’s there job! I went on to tell the main boss my concern asking him doesn’t you’re associates put something down since they get dirty, his response was his floors in the garage have no oil or grease on them his guys are clean and if they get dirty they change...and went on to tell me how I called his workers dirty and slimy which never came out my mouth ! All in all just a joke of a place! I went 2 seconds up the street after to Valvoline Instant Oil Change great place awesome customer service no issues didn’t even have to make a appointment or get out the car they do it all while you sit on you’re car

They, gave a quote, that I knew was highly over priced😔😔😕 for brake-line, back brake pads& calipers, and complete flushing, no air in line, my point- over 1,200😲😲😲😲😲- I didnt have them do it!!- no way know how- I found another ave, $770!!! Now I want everyone to know,they completely tried to take advantage of my girlfriend👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎- 10 thumbs down, totally tried to take advantage of a brake repair job!! Rotten to me,and unprofessional conduct, and in my home town of Naugatuck ct 😔😕 real sad!!!

I brought my car in to be looked at for an exhaust leak. They put the car on the lift and quoted me $455 to do the repair. I questioned the price being very high. I was not going to do the repair but the manager there said they had a price match guarantee. I decided to have them do it since they said if I found it lower they would match the price. When I left there I went to Meinike to get a quote. To my surpirse, I was quoted $250. I dropped off the written estimate the very next day. 3 weeks later still no price match. Everytime I call there, I get the run around from the manager. I will never return there, nor would I recommend them to anyone.They overcharged me and have yet to make it right.
