The website says Returns with a smile are super easy! You can return any JOANN purchase any time with no hassle. This is anything but true. I took an item back with a receipt within 1 week of receiving the item. The store was unable to process the return due to new registers, so corporate said theyd send a check. Its been 4 weeks since then. Ive called the main help number multiple times, and they now said, allow another 10 to 14 business days. Also filing a complain with the office of consumer affairs.

I called several locations this evening! I was looking for a specific fabric… I was having trouble finding a location that had it in stock I called this store 10min before closing time and unfortunately I didn’t get the woman’s name but she was so amazing! She went above and beyond when she couldn’t find it in the system she checked the shelves herself! out of the 9 locations I called she was the most personable and helpful!!!!

I dont know the first thing about fabric, but this is a fun place, tons of awesome stuff. If youre ever in a pinch and need a birdhouse AND a doorknob you know where to go.

I slipped in the store and made a quick purchase of a basic Singer sewing machine to shorten some pants because I like the length to be just right. In and out in a flash. Very happy with what I got.

2nd time at JOANN Fabrics and found the perfect flowers for my new ceramic vase.Great store and price is great.Loved it. 👍

Great selection, nice store layout. The arrows on the floor were consistent with how you would naturally walk through the store, which was nice. Friendly staff and quick checkout even with pulling up coupons.

Bought a few items for a DIY project for my upcoming wedding. The spray can i bought had to go 3x to the store to swap it out for another one because within a few clicks trying to spray a couple wooden letters it would come out any spray. This was a can of spray with gold and sparkling finish. Advise to not buy any spray cans

This store is amazing! I love sewing, and Ive been going here for almost five years now. Its never disappointed - they have a wide range of fabrics, for just about any occasion I can think of, and there are tons of cool embellishments. I honestly dont know what Id do without having it here!

Patches did not hold, followed instructions exactly. Needles are fine, threader broke first use. Will buy better quality next time.

Service is wonderful, but you HAVE TO BE CAREFUL ABOUT PRICE. I looked up prices of things I needed on Amazon before heading to Joannes. Sewing machines and appliances are about 100-150% overpriced. You can pay almost a fair price if you download the app and use their coupons, but they exclude sewing machines (generally). So, use the app and get reasonably priced goods. However, buy your sewing machines on Amazon.

Great place for holiday items and of course endless variety of fabrics or sewing needs. Saved big dollar with the price markdowns. The help is quick to assist and up on the products.

Good store that is usually well stocked and clean. Employees are very helpful. Good sales & coupons (sign up online). Only drawback is that it can be difficult getting out of parking lot due to all the traffic on route 9.

Horrible experience. If i could give 0 stars I would.I went online and purchased a few things, on May 4th 2020. The purchase went through and I went to pick up up, and was only given 2 out of the 4 things. I asked the employee why, and they said they are only selling things that are “essential to mask making”. Fine. But even the 2 of 4 items had no correlation to mask making. I asked the employee if i could speak to someone, and she said i can come into the store. I went in, and was greeted with a snarky look and “what do you need” I asked why i was charged 26.00$ for items i didn’t receive and she said it was a new policy for the state. Well, it’s not. Because it wasn’t written anywhere or on the news. I called with my mother and asked to speak with a manager. That’s when “Brian” (who wouldn’t give a last initial or name) said he was the manager and “why don’t we understand policy, but what do we need” So he began telling us we don’t understand the rules. No, we very well understand, but this policy wasn’t listen anywhere on the app, or fb page, only joann.com.He continues yelling at my mother, saying he’s worked there for 11 years and giving his whole life story. Frankly i don’t care, i just want to know why your app let me purchase something you didn’t plan to fulfill. I asked when a refund was going to be given and the first person told me 7-10 business days, but Brian said 24-48 hours. You cannot get a straight answer out of these people and they don’t know how to do their jobs. I’ve had wonderful, helpful, employees here, but Brian the manager did it in. I won’t be spoken to that way and he told I don’t understand the rules, when your whole company is making up a policy and blaming the governor. Absolutely childish, Rude, Degrading and I will not be recommending Joann crafts to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby. These employees don’t even know what their “essential items” are considering they sold me window clings and said that’s for masks, right?Do not yell at your customers over the phone and tel them they just aren’t getting and and how don’t you understand, next the the BBB will be called.

Love Joann F & C. Often score great deals on my wreath making supplies like ribbon, deco mesh (seasonally, wish they carried it all the time!) and picks. The clearance area at this store is always a disaster and often items are missing prices which is disappointing. If you work with fabric, this should be one of your go to places as they have a huge selection.

I dont know exactly what to expect from a fabric store considering Im a gigantic male who doesnt sew. However! Every ⏲ Ive had to go, the staff has been friendly and helpful and has almost always figured out what I needed.

Sometimes the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and sometimes I get the feeling I am interrupting their work (rather than being their work). Recommend getting on their mailing list so you get the sale announcements and coupons!

Amazing service in help from all of the staff. The selections at this store completely outweighs what every other Jo-Anns Fabric has to offer. The store is probably double the size of an average Jo-Anns Fabric.

Overpriced. Somehow, sewing became a crafting hobby as apposed to a basic necessity. I am not a hobbyist. I simply need to alter and maintain my clothing. I found the staff helpful, knowledgeable and friendly but the pricing was just too high.My mother used to make clothing and curtains and also knit. She dropped those hobbies due to the price of supplies. Soon places like Joann are going to price themselves out of the market. I wont be surprised when a pharmacy chain reintroduces the sewing section like Woolworths used to have and shakes up the whole industry.

The selection of fabric and felt was very good for what I was using it for but even better was that the staff here were extremely kind, helpful, patient and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. It was refreshing and made for a very pleasant shopping experience.

Aside from the Covid-19 craziness and having to go through curbside pick up for my item, I had a pleasant experience.

It was an impulse visit, i found what i was looking for but when i asked an employee a question she told me no we dont have that and she had to punch out. She directed me to the knitting section as an alternative for the little loops i need. Definitely meed better customer service.

Fabric selection is limited and its a bit difficult to find items due to the organization of the aisles. That said for a small store they do keep a lot of general crafting needs in stock.

Great variety and the staff are friendly and helpful. They do seem understaffed sometimes and wait times can be a bit long for fabric cutting and the register, but I dont believe it is their fault. They are always very engaged once you get ahold of someone.

It has become more craft than fabric. They never have what i need. However, fabric stores are slowly being obsolete. The sales people could be a little more helpful. Every time Im there, someone needs advice but Joanns employees say they cant help so i end up assisting grateful people.

Ive been to better Joann fabrics, this one is alright. the fabric I got from here was quite skewed, and made it difficult to make the pants that I was sewing. However, the pants did get made, and the fabric glowed fabulously in the dark. On top of that, because this Joanns is less popular, it has some of the fabric that isnt easy to find at others. I wound up mailing some tough to find fabric to a friend of mine in Texas, because it was impossible to get down there. Thanks for kind of sucking, route 9 Joanns

Store offers a good selection and is easy to navigate.

The employees in this location need to be educated on how to treat the materials. Ive picked up fur here twice due to other locations being low on stock and both times they butchered it with scissors. You NEVER cut fur with scissors, you tear it so you dont cut the pile. Cutting it makes a good 2 all the way around unusable. What a waste.Also the fur is stored improperly, the pile is all smashed and there are kinks in the strands from it being folded that cant be removed without ruining the texture of the fabric. Completely unacceptable. I buy a lot of foam, fur and other fabrics and supplies from Joanns for my business so having expensive material ruined by the employees is frustrating.Ive visited other Joann locations where this isnt a problem. Do yourself a favor and find another store.

For some reason google had an incorrect Address listing the store as being at 244 Worcester Road when it should be 244 Worcester Street. Suggested an edit, hope it gets changed.

It has both sewing supplies and crafts, so it doesnt have a huge selection of either, although its not a small store. The fabric counter seems popular with other customers. Checkout tends to be slow, but where else are you going to go in this area?

Service is absolutely terrible. I will never shop there again. Came in looking for an item, after not finding it on the shelves I asked the cashier if it was one of the items held behind the counter as it was a more expensive item. She walked over, looked very briefly and said we must not have it. When I showed that the Joann app reported that this location had 5 of them in stock she shrugged and said you can check the shelves again, maybe you missed it. She did not offer to help me look for it despite having a different employee at the register and no line. After wasting my time looking for the item I reapproached the counter and asked the other employee to look in the cage again. I had to give specifically ask if she could move some items around before it was miraculously found. Only good thing was that they forgot to take down the sale price that had already expired so I got it at a discount.

Terrible service- after driving an hour, I arrived 10 minutes before closing- not ideal but they refused to cut a tiny piece of fabric needed for a project. They were rude and unwilling to be helpful. Wish I had looked up the other reviews of this store before making the trip.

Rude, unhelpful, disrespectful and downright snotty employees. About an hour ago, I asked if they carried a product I buy regularly at another Jo-Anns in Maine. Employee says, were a small store so we dont stock much. When I asked if it was in stock at another nearby location, she shrugged like it was a stupid question and said, I only work here. I nodded my head in exasperation at her unhelpful response, so she says snidely, Well what do you want me to say?Wonderful customer service, huh? Mind you, this was not a teenager, it was a middle aged woman. She needs a job away from customers.

Terrible customer service. Stood at the cash register for 10 minutes and no one was there to wait on me. Finally had to go find someone. Who leaves the cash register unattended for that long?Sales person was eating food at the cutting counter. Not a good idea when you are handling fabric that I presume the Buyer wanted to be clean. Employees definitely dont look happy to be there.2 stars for the good prices.
