Great location for an established coffee shop in the Nashville area. Theyve done a great job with the layout and really utilized the space to the maximum without making it feel squished together (havent said that word in a while, squished) Any who, onto the important part, the coffee.PB - I got a double espresso, not sure why but was feeling it. Pretty great as espresso goes. Im moderately new to the game there, so the bitterness is something to get use to, the energy, well that I know how to handle.J- I got a cappuccino and it was just lovely. Perfectly balanced and not sweet or overly milky. The location is great and the service was warm. I appreciated this place not only because of their mission (look it up - its pretty amazing) but also because there was a homeless man that came in to sit. A lot of places downtown will kick our homeless population out and it honestly pisses me off. Here it was a safe space for the gentleman who came in. The Well seems to me to be the type of place that fully lives out their mission in action, word, and operations. So yeah, I liked it here a lot.If you are looking for a cup of coffee that is good and will do good beyond you, we strongly suggest you stop in and give this place a try.

Great coffee shop that just opened downtown. Staff is friendly and competent. There is plenty of seating and great things for purchase. They said they will have a full food menu up soon.

Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend the Honey Bee Biscuit and drip coffee. The tomato basil soup is hearty and delicious with the right about of spicy heat.

A wonderful not for profit coffee shop. Good for light to medium roast coffees. Bold and flavorful espressos. The staff is absolutely great. We had lots of questions their business model and coffee making process. They took the time to interact with my wife and I the entire time we were there - it was great.

This coffee house was a great find. I had the honey bee, a biscuit with sausage egg spinach and honey. Everything was delicious. I shall enjoyed The Cuban a tasty coffee drink that I lack the vocabulary to describe. If you want a drink and snack I totally recommend it!

I loved this place. I like the message, and the food and coffee were excellent.

After my great experience at The Well in Brentwood, their downtown location was a disappointment.Coffee quality was not as good at Brentwood. My second cup was terrible. My fault for not asking for a fresh batch.Bathrooms were gross. They looked and SMELLED like they had not been cleaned in over a week. Drier pee on all the urinal. Toilets had poop splattered on them. I let the staff know they were out of paper towel and the bathroom was gross - they acknowledged it and did nothing about it. I worked from there for 10 hours, they had 6 to replace the paper towel, never did. Maybe they outsource this to a cleaning company. If they do, have them clean the bathroom more often.No surprise they only had 30 customers all day.

A little hard to find as more on commerce street than 4th. Good coffee and a nice place to sit and enjoy the coffee.

Incredible coffee shop. I got some work and reading done here for a couple hours last week when my car was getting worked on a few blocks away. The employee working was so great and answered all my questions about drinks and milk alternatives. I enjoyed a seasonal drink, Tennessee Molasses. It was doctor pepper and coffee- delicious and very unique.

Coffee was awesome. Had a Rwandan drip and my wife had a Kenyan pour over. Great coffee.Also, had the Honey Bee sandwich, which was also very good.

This place is one of my two favorite coffee shops in Nashville. The Cuban is by far my favorite in-store drink, and the pour overs are always on point. Their at-home coffee is also one of my go-tos when I get fancy coffee.

What a unique and quite little place. The coffee turned out great I had a espresso as I wanted to get an idea what the coffee itself tasted like without all the added flavors. It was really good very intense fruity flavors and a nice punch. Would come back here again next time I am in Nashville.

Downtown coffee selections are basic at best. This location offers really good basics but their seasonal selections are where its at! Todays choice, a Lavender Blackberry Cuban! Delicious 💗 A refreshingly unpretentious atmosphere. Friendly Barista. Hand pulled (and done well!) Espresso. The only thing lacking were some baked goods. A little grab and go goodness to take back to the office would have been the perfect visit. I highly recommend giving this location a try.

I cant believe how good their coffee. Its the best coffee in town. on top of that the profit goes to making Wells for people in need for water supply. Just ditch Starbucks... I wish to have more branches through the city and surroundings. Please open in Murfreesboro TN

I come in 1-2 times a week because my job is so close, hope they dont get tired of me! I love the oatmilk latte (hot or cold). Their espresso is some of the best in town.

Incredible little lunch/ breakfast spot. Just had the “new pralines” latte and a turkey pesto sandwich. The sandwich was a solid 9/10 and the drink was more of a 7/10. The drink was just barely warmer than room temp and was chuggable immediately.

The coffee was good. However, my husband had to get it for me while I stayed at the door with our son who is wheelchair bound because of the stairs and no accessibility. I emailed a week and a half ago, with no response. The phone number on there website is no good so I couldnt get through that way either. As long as you can go up and down stairs you will be fine.

I really liked this place. It has a great ambience and the best part about its decorations is the giant world map on one of the walls. I am not a very big coffee fan, but I go there for refreshers. Lemonade refreshers are really good, must try!

Best caramel latte I have ever had. Service was quick and friendly. I got coffee to go but the shop had a nice environment and looks like a nice place to drink your coffee with friends or work for a bit.

The salted caramel latte was smooth and just a hint of the made in house caramel.Strawberry smoothie was good.Hot cocoa was so good my 7 year old finished it!Not busy at 5 on Friday.

The coffee and environment were fine, but the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. When walking out of the bathroom, I also overheard two women talking about how gross the womens bathroom was. I hope that other areas related to food/drink-prep are better cleaned, but the bathrooms do not inspire confidence. It didnt seem like it had been a few hours since the last cleaning, it seemed like staff had simply stopped cleaning the bathrooms altogether.

Great coffee and the staff are really nice. Most of the good coffee shops have baristas with attitudes like they are doing you a favor by taking your money for a coffee. I love this place.

Im a delivery driver who made a mistake. I payed them to remake a customers order. They where rude and unsympathetic to the customer and myself. I imagine if I were a different race I would have been treated better. You dont have to guess what race Im speaking of..... Im extremely busy, I dont have time to talk to you was the tone I received!

I usually bring my lunch to work, but every time i dont, this is my go-to! The chipotle chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado is amazing. Even more amazing; their cuban coffee hot or iced (you get more if iced).

This place is like fine wine. It keeps getting better over time. I reviewed the Well a year ago and stopped in again today as I was in town and it was amazing. The pour over Las Lajal was incredible and the Honey Bee on sweet potato biscuit was the talk of our vehicle ranking up with the best breakfast sandwich ever. The Coffeehouse has a quiet & humble atmosphere. Perfect for reading a book while sipping a Latte.

Half Stars should be availabile! Costly but you get taste food. Not quality food. Is Local whatever. Mostly about tastebuds. Pops includes interesting flavors. Recommend to try once. White Hot Chocolate drink is a New One. Bathrooms are clean. Seating is accommodating though some atmosphere vibe about the place throws that off.

Honestly wanted to give the full 5 stars but they lack consistency. They never have any of the baked good items available as well as opening on time seems to be a problem. Slight attitude from morning staff, but hey it’s early maybe their just not morning people. LOVE THE GEORGIA ON MY MIND though and it keeps me coming back.

Hands down best coffee I’ve ever had. Blows Starbucks out of the water on God. They even do latte art. You can drink it straight from being made no burn whatsoever.

I have visited this establishment twice. I work very close so I was super excited there was somewhere else to go besides Panera. The food is really good. The coffee and other drinks are great. My only issue is the super snobby stuck up women who work there. Both times I have gone in I felt completely unwelcome. I asked a question about a menu item and the woman was visibly irritated I had even asked. It was extremely uncomfortable waiting for my order because I knew she said something about me to her coworker because they kept glaring at me. It took 25 minutes for them to make a grilled cheese sandwich. My break is only 30. I really felt like they took forever on purpose because I annoyed the cashier somehow. I wont be back. And I will be sure to let my customers know to avoid that place as well. I deal with hundreds of people visiting Nashville every week. I will let every one of them know how rude and off putting the staff are. Word of advise...be nice to customers. You never know who your serving or what they do for a living.

Lots of places to sit. The only drink I’ve had here is espresso. It is very good. Bold, moderate sweetness, and with just the right amount of that fruity sourness at the end of each sip. Very friendly staff.

This is the best coffeehouse I have ever been to, really awesome cold brew seasonal drinks and wonderful breakfast and lunch menus. The curry chicken salad is my favorite and the Corvette drink! A true original gem!

Wonderful caffe latte! Ive been trying to find a coffee shop in downtown where the espresso isnt just bitter, but has the sweet bold flavor it is meant to have. I think I found it!

Came in for a double espresso, lucky for me it was clear on the menu and priced so there was no guessing. The lady at the counter was also super polite. However, the espresso was just bad, as it was just sour and overly acidic(and lukewarm when fresh). Cant judge the rest of the drinks as I didnt have them.

The first morning I came, there was only one guy working making drinks and food. The line backed up so much that people were leaving upon entering. The second morning, I gave it another shot and we arrived shortly after 7am and they were still not open. Coffee and pastries/sandwiches are excellent, but service is greatly lacking at this location.
