First time going to this location. Not sure if still actually Smoke & Ale... On thr doors and windows stated The Greenroom. The ambiance, furniture, vibes was low key, beautiful, relaxed but could turn up on some nights or so with tv for games, bar and like dj booth area. When asked how long been opened, I was told 2-3month. Although, not a smoker but been to a cigar room/location. I would check this place out again. Dope

Amazing place for the casual cigar smoker or the fanatic helpful friendly staff and great lounge, this is the second time Ive been and it was just as awesome as the first. 10/10 would recommend

Excellent humidor! I love that it is kept separately from where people are sitting and smoking. That can really make a difference in the quality of the cigars that are being sold.Also, the owners are simply incredible! This is my opinion and mine alone. I have a question about the passion of this business. Ive been to this establishment several times and from the customer service to the constant time changes to the question about how the Cigars are priced on the shelf vs at the register draws curiosity if they want to stay open. My recent visit brought me to the decision that I no longer will be a patron. The winter times for business hours was the last straw. As soon as I walked in, at 6:30, I was informed they would be closing in 30min. I looked at the door and saw that Mon-Wed 11-7 Thurs-Sat 10-10, Sunday 12-6. Now I dont know anyone who has an 8-5 job with traffic the way it is and wanting to leave the issues of the day with a good stick can smoke in an hour at best on the days they close at 7. Thats what I wanted to do. Since there are no places to smoke between Murfreesboro and Nashville except this place and Tobacco Road (Ill keep my comments to myself on that one) its a shame there is no consistency. Ive been watched before, made to feel very uncomfortable especially around closing time, and inconvenienced trying to figure out the problematic county tax at the register. Its sad because the humidor is top notch the selection is very nice. I understand the restaurant next door has caused some dissatisfaction due to parking thats out of the owners hands but everything else leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I bid them well in there future endeavors.

By far the most comfortable and welcoming Cigar Lounge in Nashville that I have visited. The other ones I have been in make you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you in the door. Dave and his family make you feel like you are in you are at friends den having fun. The selection of gars is superb and the prices are way low in comparison with other shops. Always a great selection of beer on tap and in the bottle and top shelf liquor too. Big comfy furniture and great group of people are there. Just a really nice place to relax or even work for a bit on the road. This is what Nashville hospitality is all about. Check it out, you will be glad you did.

Love this place! Good atmosphere with comfy chairs, a good variety of cigars, large selection of craft bottled beer plus beer & cider on tap. We even played chess and checkers while smoking. Hostess is always nice, and she remembered us from last time, which was pleasantly surprising!

They have a really great selection of Cigars here. Really nice humidor. Almost anything else youd need smoking wise. They are always friendly. People are always here in the lounge when I come to buy cigars.

Well run operation. I am a cigar smoker and beer drinker, so I know the selection is excellent and the prices reasonable in this regard. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is friendly and the entire establishment is clean. I have been to other smoke shops in the area and consider this one the best overall. Excellent place to have a cold draft, indulge in a fine cigar and engage in a conversation. Moreover, watch a football game, or multiple games, on a Sunday afternoon if that is what you seek. I have been there enough times to know the proprietor appreciates all who visit. Highly recommended.

I usually buy my cigars via the internet. However today I was in Nashville and decided I would get a few over the counter. I am glad I did. The selection was great. The attentive but not pushy sales advice was perfect. The store is great. Huge selection of nice beers. Also some high class lighters, cutters, etc. I was given a nice discount for my large purchase which wasnt expected, but very much appreciated. So, i would recommend Smoke and Ale to anyone looking to get a few smokes. Great folks there. thank you very much. New Owner!!!!! If you havent been to Smoke and Ale since April 2014, by all means, give these new owners a try. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is way above par. I have seen some of the reviews from 1, 2, and 3 years ago, and I can tell you, This is NOT the same shop. David and his family go way beyond helpful. I was looking for some accessories for my Bjarne pipe and David did more to try to locate what I was looking for than I would have expected any shop owner to do for such an inexpensive item. David and his family REALLY do appreciate your business, no matter how small it is. So give this place a try, (or a second shot if you had a bad experience with the previous owners), and Im sure you will find it a place you feel welcome and will want to come back to again and again.

I was a dum dum and went in wanting cigarettes, and luckily they had some nat shermans, expensive but I only had one stop so I got them, I bought a lighter that was supposed to have a lifetime warranty, however I didnt get my receipt and that is needed to file for a replacement. Cashier was nice and asked if I wanted a receipt but I had no idea I needed it for the lighter, if only she had told me... maybe she didnt know?

I really enjoy my experience as a newcomer to smoking cigs. I would love to thank the entire staff for the warm welcoming to Nashville Smoke & Ale. The prices are great and i will be visiting again.
