I went to return an item that didn’t perform as designed, but all the salesperson and manager could do was offer excuses to support their refusal to accept the return. The plastic of a water filter didn’t seal correctly in the cooler temperatures outdoors, but since it worked perfectly in the store their argument was “it’s not designed to be used in cooler temperatures”. Seriously? I stopped shopping here long ago and thought I’d give them another chance. Never again. This is one of the reasons they have lost the battle against companies like REI.

The workers in this store are awesome and helpful. My black Friday order that was placed online was canceled three days later. After speaking with Customer service, I was informed it was canceled because they didnt have it in stock. And they would not be honoring the pricing. I went to the store and saw that the items I tried to order was in stock. The team working here contacted customer service at a higher level and was able to fulfill my original order which included the price.Thanks again guys, happy skiing

I to had a very bad experience returning goods, I fear Amazon will only get bigger, I was a long time EMS customer, no more.

When things go wrong and you really need good customer service, the best come through. We had purchased a Thule cargo box at EMS in Lebanon, NH and were on our way south, fully loaded when a latch failed on our three-day old roof box. This could have meant a major delay in dropping our daughter off for college, but the EMS staff at the Nashua store quickly replaced our faulty Thule and had us on our way. They were quick, skilled and very professional. I highly recommend doing business with EMS, particularly the Nashua location. Many thanks!

I experienced top class customer service at this store on Sunday, April 28th, 2019. The rep was awesome; he was patient and kind and helped me make some good choices. I would recommend this store to everyone.

Were co-op members at another retailer, but I prefer EMS, largely because the store seems less stuffy. The employees are really helpful, they have quite a bit of knowledge about the products they sell and many actually use them.The prices are pretty good, dull retail is a bit high on many things, but theres always a sale going on and you can snag some real deals.
