After many, many years of service our old Norton M48 door closer cylinder finally gave out. After trying to no avail to find someone who could repair our old door closer we found Architectural Builders Supply. Richard was able to accommodate us with great service to help us avoid having to get a new door closer which would require modification to the unique space that our door closer was installed.We received our unit back quicker than anticipated and the work done was phenomenal. Not only was the unit repaired, but a new finish was applied to make the unit look as good as it did when it was new decades ago. Everything works flawlessly. We are a municipally owned wastewater infrastructure utility. We have facilities built in the 1970s and 1980s were spring cylinders of Hatch Double-Doors so call Sidewalk Doors. These doors are in remarkable conditions besides a few welds needed. Replacing them with new units would cost in the $20Ks plus concrete work. Through AB Supply I have acquire spring cylinders to make them operate like new. OEMs deny the sell of spares. Somehow AB Supply have them reasonably priced.

Excellent customer service. Richard, owner, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly in providing solutions. I was looking for a way to silence some metal doors in my condo building. I left with some door silencers that have significantly reduced the Bang! on the metal to metal contact. Highly recommend!

Great customer service! They always reply very promptly and have all the information you need on time. THe only downside is that the shipping costs from their warehouse to our office are kind of high, but thats understandable.

Owner Richard is extremely rude and not easy to work with. He makes an offer for a product I was selling, then when I counter offer he flips out!! He needs to take a chill pill and learn how to work with people!!!

I ordered an 8 chrome back-to-back shower door handle after watching a video on the product by the owner. I was impressed with the quality and design of the product. The item arrived on time, packed very well, and was exactly as advertised. I would order from AB Supply again in a heartbeat.

A very rude inefficient completely hopeless and very rude mail ordering company. I ordered some gasket in November when I returned to my home in January no sign of it. Sent email; first they denied I had made any order, sent them copy of order. I was looking for a replacement part for a Schlage series E front door handle assembly from the 1980s. When I originally called the Schlage company directly they told me there was no way to get this part. They said I may be able to search the Internet for old stock parts and maybe fix it. Basically I thought I was going to have to buy an entire new front door and read drill the door jam.Richard from Architectural Builders Supply Was extremely knowledgeable about these older model doorhandles. He sent me a brand new part from the factory that works perfect. So obviously if I could’ve given them a six star rating I would’ve. Obviously great customer service and I would definitely recommend them.

They started off with good customer service when I was ordering a fire extinguisher to be shipped to California. I even bypassed one that I could have bought here locally in CA to buy from them in Florida because they had been helpful to me on the phone with trying to figure out what I needed and I appreciated the phone customer service so much. The Fire Extinguisher was received not in proper condition which I realized upon the professional installer showing me when he took it out of the box to install. When I called and told them I had received it with the gauge practically empty (which is not right for a brand new extinguisher per the professional installer) they told me it probably got damaged in transit and did not offer to do ANYTHING. I sent photos, got ahold of management...they did not want to help me at all. In fact, they said I shouldve read the manual before I signed for the extinguisher when it arrived. (Which is totally unrealistic to sit and read a manual while the delivery driver is waiting for you to sign so they can leave.) The service that had started out nicely when they were going to get the sale in the beginning turned out to be terrible service. I cannot relate to their bad business practices as we have several family businesses and it is not in our business DNA to let the customers take the financial fault for receiving something from us that is not in the condition it should be. We are now in the hole nearly $1000 from the product we received. I will never buy anything from here again for any of our businesses. Their loss. Be careful if you are considering buying from them!!!!!!
