Im not one who enjoys the experience of buying a car. Its a grueling process from the moment you pull into the dealership and the sales person shakes your hand. At the moment Im out of the country and wouldnt you know it I found my dream car online. Having never had the opportunity to give buying a car online a chance I made the call to Autohaus of Naples.From the moment I dialed and started to work with Jay I had a good feeling. Great and fun experience getting to know Richard. Autohaus has solid reputation and a long history of reselling only quality cars at fair prices. We visited with them initially about finding a Mercedes similar to a beautiful one they had just sold. As someone who is in the car business in another state and different market all together but who has industry knowledge, I have to say I am impressed mostly with how this dealership has very very fair and realistic prices of their vehicles and is a place I would send a buyer who was considering these specialty items. I discovered this dealer on YouTube and loved the videos and hope to be a real customer sometime soon as I am a small time personal collector myself. Again and I cannot stress this enough, the prices they are asking are very fair and true to actual market value. I live in Clearwater Beach .I found Autohaus Naples on line and decided to drive 166miles to go see a car they had advertised .I first met Richard my sales rep but it didnt end there .I met Tina and Damon the owner not to mention their adult children, fantastic people !!!!The service at this dealership is often imitated by others but never equalled .They make you feel at home, and most importantly make sure the vehicle you drive away with is impeccable . This was a great experience, found my porsche online from them, they worked with me to get the paperwork done from out of state and found me a financing option that was better than Navy Federal and USAA (which Ive been with for 15 years). I travelled 100 miles from Sarasota to see what appeared to be a pristine 2006 Miata Grand Touring. When Peter showed my wife and I the car it looked even better than the pictures. Price was at the top end for that year, but the vehicle was immaculate, serviced and had brand new tires. He even went out of his way to help me save on registering the car. Overall an excellent experience.

I have been searching for a used convertible in Naples. After experiencing some disappointment with another dealer came across what seemed like the perfect car. Ryan at Autohaus was incredible. I was in the market for a little convertible roadster, and over here in New Jersey finding one that is in excellent condition is almost impossible. I had always liked the YouTube videos that Autohaus uploads so I visited their website for a convertible and lucky me they had a low mileage 2003 BMW Z4 for sale! I called them up and spoke to Ryan and made the deal. He was very easy to talk to and was willing to spend time with me on the phone to answer all of my questions. The paperwork was done in a matter of minutes, and the car was transported over to New Jersey.Two thumbs up! I would also like to give out of state buyers a few tips when buying a used car.1. When you are ready to buy, make sure you have your finances in order also, if the car is going to be transported- budget an addition $600 dollars for that.2. Dont be afraid to ask for more photos or even a video of something about the car. For example, if you are buying a Porsche 911 and are concerned if the tires need to be replaced, ask for more pictures of the tires and a receipt if they were recently replaced. New tires alone can run $2K on a Porsche.3. If you have a checklist of things that you want checked, then provide that for the seller. I bought a Jaguar once from Florida and when it arrived the passengers seat did not recline back. Very expensive fix. How would the seller even know to check this? He might have a lot of cars on their lot and cant check every single function on them.If you follow the above suggestions, both you and the seller have a much better chance of setting realistic expectations. With that said, I am waiting for the spring so I do some topless driving.Whooo-hoooooo!

I truly almost never leave a review being a business owner and knowing how detrimental they can be.With that being said...and a long story short, with this company, I filled out my credit app, they said that I was approved for the loan and rendered all of my credentials including my bank info to this company to follow protocol and such to hold my vehicle. mind you this is an out of state deal.I couldnt reach carmax at all for a few days and I was moving into my work weekend. I offered to put a substantial payment on the car so they understood I was still going to purchase as I was going to go to the carmax the following monday.he said it was no issue and they would not sell the car from under me.I got a phone call the following day b y the salesman saying that the OWNER OF THE CAR DEALERSHIP DECIDED HE WANTED TO TAKE THE CAR OFF THE MARKET AND GIVE IT TO HIS AUNT.wellllll thats not really what you should do after we submitted my paperwork, loan was approved and gave my bank info to hold car and I kept good communication with them the few while days that I couldnt reach carmax.thats the gist. I see that they have a lot of great reviews, however if you intend to buy a car and you are out of state or even in state I wouldnt set your heart on it.super unprofessional and misleading....

Never thought Id say I had a great experience in buying a used car from a dealership, but I have to say it now. When I called the dealership to find out about one of their cars, Ryan Howe took my phone call and from the beginning of the process of buying to the final sale he was the consummate professional. The deal was not one of your ordinary ones due to my location, getting someone there to view the car and test drive it, arranging shipping to another state, to name a few obstacles. How it was all supposed to come together due to the different circumstances would have challenged anyone, but Ryan handled every detail superbly. The GL550 was exactly how it was represented on their website and in fact the vehicle was cleaner and ran better than expected. The car fax was accurate and showed how Autohaus of Naples proactively fixed the AC compressor prior to putting the vehicle up for sale. Thats integrity! I paid slightly above Kelley Blue Book but the condition of this vehicle deserved the price. I did a bunch of remote logistics with Ryan around the registration, title and plating and he was awesome and responsive. 5 star all the way.

Buying a vehicle long distance is a bit of a leap of faith. Buying a foreign vintage car is terrifying but when they say the title is clear, they mean it.
