This place rocks.Super friendly staff, next level meats and they gave me some birthday jerky!Highly recommended

Buddies wedding this last weekend was great besides the catering service. They showed up late, almost ruining ceremony if it wasn’t for us calling them. The staff (two guys) were rude, disrespectful, and sarcastic. The food was just okay. That’s if there was any. I had to help them run food (I was a groomsman) so people could eat. I guess there was cobbler, tri-tip and salad. I never saw that because they didn’t have it out in the beginning. Most people never had an opportunity to have what the bride and groom ordered. After the wedding my buddy had enough food to feed a homeless shelter (I think he’s donating it) he had 10 tri-tips and bunch of other sides left over all spoiling in his fridge instead of being eaten by their guests. The owner will only refund him $200 of his $4200 and offered him a meal. I’d go else where if I were you. The food was just okay and the service was absolutely horrible. I’d be more than happy to talk with the owner about the experience, as a business owner I would want to know if my business was portrayed this bad in front of 150 plus people.

We helped our friend plan their wedding on 6/19/21. They hired H&M Meats for catering. The food was okay, nothing great. The beans are bush’s or something close outa a can. The macaroni and cheese was bland and dry. Meat was just okay. Regardless, they were supposed to show up an hour or so prior to the ceremony so they didn’t interrupt and so we could explain where everything was going to be. We had to call them right before the ceremony started to insure they didn’t drive up during. Good thing because they were pulling in as the ceremony began (the road was right behind the ceremony). They had to wait, then had at least an hour to set up before dinner was served. The bride and groom ordered the following... tri tip, macaroni and cheese, salad, beans, rolls, chicken, cobbler and appetizers of bacon wrapped peppers. When the bridal party and first 1/4 of guests got their food there was only... rolls, chicken, macaroni and cheese and beans available. When asked where the rest of the food was the workers (only two of them) became snarky and rude. Stating they were trying to get it ready and we needed to be patient. That didn’t go over well and the worker Ryan only became more sarcastic and rude throughout the night. Refusing to move his truck (parked incorrectly) which was in the way of pictures and attempting to leave without packaging the food and trying to leave early. Regardless of all that. Once the actual course was finally put on the tables for the guests to eat it was never replenished and people filled up on rolls and macaroni and cheese... when there was some. The poor high school kid couldn’t keep up and had no idea what was happening. We had to help run food to keep it filled for guests. Even then it was to late. Afterwards the bride and groom had 10 tri-tips, three cobblers, at least one and a half macaroni and cheese and a tray full of appetizers left. They threw out the salad because they said it wouldn’t hold well (agreed) but it was a lot. When we brought it to the owners attention he told the groom he would refund $200 for the service fee and after some back and forth he threw in a free meal... absolute joke. The bride and groom have roughly half of the meat and a 1/4 of other food which is spoiling in their fridge (planning on donating it) because H&M did such a horrible job their guests couldnt eat it. It literally was sitting in their heat trays in the truck not able to be served. So if you would like to pay $4200 for just mediocre food and then have half of it spoil after your wedding H&M meats is the way to go. If you would like a stress free wedding and your guests to eat what you pay for go elsewhere.

I moved here from Georgia and have been here a year. I had a great butcher back home just like a hair stylist, once you get a good one you stick with him. So I was just buying the junk meat from the supermarkets. But one day I was Fed Up and looked online an H&M popped up. After reading the reviews I decided to give him a try. I bought two 16-ounce fillets. I had great prompt and a attentive service. They were vacuum sealed and I was impressed. After opening them I realized that they were somewhat butterflied. I was kind of disappointed. After grilling them they turned out absolutely amazing. So today I went back and order the same thing. But ask them that the butterfly them. They cater to my request and two beautiful 16 oz filets. There now marinating and caring for the grill later. Definitely a go-to spot and dont believe Ill try anywhere else. They have my 100% satisfaction an approval.

You will be in great hands with H&M Meats! Adam and his staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! The menu and food is amazing! You can expect everything to be flawless! We have used them quite a few times for our catering events and have never been disappointed. The food is always a huge hit with everyone! We highly recommend them!!

I’ve moved to Idaho five years ago, I’m a chef this the place I by my meat great quality, service and everything you would want from a meat market, remembered my name and order for my daughter birthday party 3yrs in a row when I placed my order who does that. We decided to try the BBQ for dinner. The meats had great flavor. The sides were pretty bad. The Mac and cheese was not comfort food. The macaroni had dry macaroni like it has been sitting on heat for quite a while. The cheese was very clumpy and not smooth at all. I had to quit eat it because I got tired of biting down on hard macaroni. No flavor to it at all. I wouldn’t even feed it to our dogs.The cole slaw had no flavor and my husband tried the jalapeño cole slaw, and it wasn’t even spicy. It tasted just like the regular slaw.

Ate lunch here and was disappointed. Seemed incredibly average for the reviews I’ve been reading. Maybe their butchering services are good, but the bbq itself is average.Two stars only because it’s clean.Response to H&M:This review was based on having lunch here twice before you were closed for Covid.I’m sure I’ll give you another shot someday.

We had H & M Meats cater a company picnic. The food was amazing. Adam was great to work with and took care of everything. Everyone was coveting the cheesy potatoes, one of my favorites! I highly recommend them for any catered event. Tasty food, beautiful presentation, professional attitude - the BEST!

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! H&M Meats was the easiest, friendliest, and had incredible food! I had H&M Meats cater my wedding this past Saturday. They showed up on time, did an excellent job setting up and having all of the food ready, and were super friendly to everyone! Everyone that came mentioned how good the food was. I will definitely be using them more and if you are looking for a catering service, I would recommend them every day!

We just bought some more meat bundles from H&M (our second time, and not our last!). The meats are super good, we absolutely love the sausage and the pork roasts! Staff is friendly and the owners are awesome!

The meat was great. Price wise I thought it was spot on for a sandwich and two sides. However the baked beans were nothing special, I thought came from a can. The Mac and cheese was really not good, very bland. The cumin coleslaw is pretty good. You can tell they specialise in meat only.

Went here to get information and talk about catering my wedding. When we shared that we were getting married on a Sunday we were told outright “we’re closed on sundays so you will have to make it worth our time to cater on Sunday”Needless to say we walked out and won’t be back!My recommendation is go somewhere else!

H&M catered our event with a luau pig. The meal and the service was amazing. We will continue to use them and keep them at the top of our catering list..

H&M catered our parents 60th wedding anniversary in June 2017. Meats (tri-tip and chicken) were great, as were all the salads and beans. Very professional service, on-time, quick and good food. What more can you ask? Highly Recommended.

We decided to do Tri Tip for Mothers Day! Everyone absolutely loved it, the marinade is perfect and it was so easy to cook. I highly recommend, and we will be returning customers.
