One, thank you for being open today!It was finally time to replace our old Kenmore fridge from 2006 (still works, but having issues) I am so thankful there is still a Sears to go to. Instead of having to spend 1500-2500 minOn a new fridge we were out the door with tax less than 1500 and we took it home same day, it was in pristine condition no scratches and all set up. We chose to install ourselves. The gentleman was very nice he asked what we were interested in for features ect and if we had a budget we wanted to stay in. Thank you again so much for your help so worth not shopping in boise and taking the drive

We brought a refrigerator from Sears Hometown and it has been difficult since the purchase. I had to contact them about the delivery. There were quite a few scratches on it when it arrived at our house. They said they would talk to the Manager about a discount. The manager declined the discount because they gave us 10% off the purchase due to it being a closeout model. When I got my statement, the real problems began. I was charged twice for the refrigerator and warranty and on 2 different days. This put me over my credit limit by a lot. After multiple phone calls, I was told it was a LITTLE “glitch” in their system. The manager kept telling me he would call back and I always had to call him. He said he would refund me the total amount and my bill would be fixed. First, he only refunded me for the refrigerator. I had to call him to find out if that had been completed and when I went to pickup my receipt, I found out he did not refund the extra warranty. He refunded the warranty then. But my bill is still not fixed, and I have been making multiple calls to Sears credit card to get this fixed. So, Sears “little glitch” has now trashed my credit and I will have to pay for their mistake. I never once heard an apology or felt that put me as any form of importance.

We paid for a dishwasher May 5 with an expected delivery date of May 26. Here it is June 12 with no idea of when it will arrive. When I call, they say that its the manufacturer whos to blame and that they now expect it to me delivered 6/23. When I expressed my frustration, they got very defensive saying that they have only been there for a week.Thats not my fault, nor is it my problem. I am without what I have paid for over a month ago. I will not be doing business with them ever again.

Our washer broke down on February 9th. We went into Sears Hometown on the 10th and purchased a new one. Expected delivery date was February 25th!! Here we are, March 5th and still with no washer! Everytime we call they never know when it will be here. There is inconsistancy on when the freight truck will deliver it. Today I called and now it wont be here for another week!! The fustrating part is that I have to continue to call, there is NO communication on their part whats so ever!!If you buy from here please dont expect it when they say it will be here and dont expect communication on where your appliance is!This will be the last time I purchase anything from this store.3/9/2021- UPDATEWe ended up cancelling our order and got one the same day from Lowes. We were also told that corporate would be giving us a call on the 5th after all the chaos.....still have not heard a peep from them. Now we wait on the refund process.

We explained upon entering that we were window shopping for our new house. The man who greeted us politely explained to me that they do not sell windows, but we are welcome to look around. Also the prices were not fantastic.

The experience I had at this store were superb. I worked with three different men, including the manager. Each was helpful, caring and did everything they could to help me. I didnt like the first washer I purchased, and was able to take it back, no questions asked, and exchange it. The next one I am completely happy with. They were extremely fair and easy to work with. Thank you Sears. Ill come back.

I ordered something and paid in full. I was given a date to pick up my item. It did not come in and I was given another date for the following week. That day came and again I was given another date for the following week. No one could call anyone to check if the item even existed. No one seemed to be able to do or check anything. I canceled my order and will never order from Sears Hometown again.

Our over-the-stovetop microwave quit operating due to a breakage of a small plastic clip in the door. When I accessed the Sears chatline, I was instructed to purchase a complete new door -- just under the price of a brand new microwave.Thankfully, I had the presence of mind to visit this establishment AND fortunate to be served by Jeff. We liked him the minute we entered the store! He was knowledgeable, personable, patient, honest, and extremely helpful. Jeff located the $20 part (NOT the entire $200-plus door) on the Sears website and explained the ease of installation. Within three days, we were back in business; he saved us a significant amount of money and delay. Five stars is not enough for this fine Sears employee, whom I personally thanked for his superior customer service.--Bob & Shari Webster, Nampa

One does not think much about trash compactor bags till you cannot find the tried and true paper with plastic lining you have used for years. Sears has stopped selling them pretty much everywhere, including online. All that is out there is mainly plastic which is worthless. The guys at Sears Hometown searched high and low to no avail. They advised me that evidently Wal-Mart sells this product. They did not have to disclose that info, though they did. Drove to our local Wally-World and with the regular trash bags and such, there the gems where. Sorry, yep it was me that bought the last 3 bundles. Though a sell was not made at their store they still helped a long time customer out, regardless. Thank you very much guys!
