I took my car there to get the front end repaired after a lady hit me. Since I got it back if the car sets for a day without driving it, the battery drains and i have to jump it. The battery and alternator tested good. I have called to explain that I never had this problem until they worked on it. I was told they did nothing to it and it was not their problem. I explained it wasnt doing that until they worked on it and was basically called a liar. Now I will have to pay the dealer to figure out what is wrong with it. I will never return to gerber nor recommend them.

Fixed my car in 24 hrs, super easy to work with insurance, car looks great and they even washed it and cleaned up the inside for me (and it was really dirty so slightly embarrassing lol) which I thought was a really nice extra touch!

If I had to have repairs done to my vehicle I would definitely take it there they did a wonderful job on my mother -inlaws 🚗! I would highly recommend people taking their Automobile there to be fixed!

Wife slid off road and damaged control arm + stabilizer bar, as well as tore axle boot & scratched rim. They worked with insurance to repair to perfect driving shape & were fairly quick to repair all issues. Even vacuumed out the NASTY backseat lol, she sure was giddy about that little extra!

This place has nothing but great. They took real good care of my vehicle. They handled everything from insurance to car rental. They were precise and attention to detail on the repairs. You also cannot beat their warranty. Ive seen the other reviews from here;but, my insurance convinced me to take it to them. Well, it was worth the time. Thank you Gerber.

I went get a estimate and the first thing the guys says is you shouldn’t be driving this. I asked if he wanted me to explain what was going on and he says no they don’t have a mechanic on site so they would have to send it out for that type of work. Then proceeds to give me a estimate for mechanical work. I would not recommend for anyone to go there. How do you give a estimate for work when you don’t know what’s going on, and what he told me was the problem just from him looking at the outside of the car. Was not the problem.

Wish I could put zero stars....They are the worst company I have ever seen. They had the car for 2 week and could not even bother to go outside and look at the manufacture date to look up parts because they were so busy. After checking with them several times and them not doing anything on the car, I asked if it would be better to take the car elsewhere since they were not getting to our car. That said That would be great and that would really help us out. What kind of repair service would be happy if you took your car someplace else.So you keep the car 2 weeks and you can not go look at it for another week to determine if you can fix it and do nothing, not the kind of place I would take my car or recommend anyone else that there car.

I got an estimate Monday and was told theyd have to order the glass and it would be Tuesday. I called back to set a time and they said its not in the system that they said it would be Tuesday. Fine. Schedule for Wednesday. The lady asked if I wanted morning or afternoon and I said morning. Get a call Wednesday saying we should be there between 3 and 5 or 6 in the afternoon.. did I not schedule for morning???? So I called corporate and they said its not the in the system. I had to call off of work and cancel my appointment I had in a different city so I could sit at home and wait for them. I asked for names of the people who gave me the run around and was not given them. Instead I was told the manager would call and NEVER DID and when I told the guy who said hed be here in the evening I had a morning appointment he said okay anyways....Just an all around HORRIBLE experience. Customer service is HORRIBLE. And dont bother trying to set an appointment because nothing is ever in the system.Good prices, horrendous customer service.

Would not recommend this company, had my daughters car for a month for a 2 door repair! Returned car the first time in filthy horrible condition. Had to make a list of all the things wrong! 2nd attempt at fixing, car brought out with 2 brand new scratches. This was a brand new car when they received it for repair. Had previously used Coys and never had a problem...not sure what has happened but this company has most definitely gone downhill

Everyone here was extremely helpful and nice when trying to get everything figured out with some window and door damage due to a storm. My hometown is 3 hours away so I had no idea where to take my car and my insurance had actually suggested Gerber in Muncie. I was in a bit of a time crunch with needing to go home within a week of taking it in and not being able to take the rental home because I have a dog that cant be in a rental car. They kept me updated throughout the week on the status of my car as I received a text just about every day about the status. They made sure my car was ready for me by the time I would need it by to go home and my car is looking brand new! The two windows that were scratched up by shingles look spotless and the door is like brand new. My car honestly looks better than when I bought it a year and a half ago! They even made the outside AND inside of my car SPOTLESS! Overall, Im extremely impressed with Gerber of Muncie and will definitely be recommending them to friends that may need car work done around Muncie.

I had a wonderful experience at Coys from the estimate to the completed job. They handled everything very professionally and kept me informed of the progress of my repairs. The staff were very helpful and pleasant to work with. The fact that the rental car company is onsite to handle your rental agreement ws a bonus. my overall experience was very positive.

As someone else said, I wish I could give 0 stars. I am from Ohio and was traveling home from Missouri when I was involved in an accident close to Muncie. My insurance company had my car towed to Muncie to be fixed. First, they had my car going on 2 months. The communication was abysmal. Calls were rarely returned and texts were never returned. This was to fix 1 door and some damage to the car down the side. When I got my car, the body work looked great. I had no qualms with that. Oh, almost forgot, they changed the ready date 3 times and the second time they did not tell me, but thankfully I thought to call ahead and was told it was not ready. This was an 8 hour round-trip for us from Ohio, so it would have been very unpleasant to have made that trip for nothing. As I said, the outside looked fine. When I got in the car, I was told the passenger door lock was not working but they thought it might have gotten wet in the process of detailing because, they said, it was working fine before that. All that was a lie. Over the course of two days, I noticed my automatic headlights were not working, the lighted panel for the gearshifter was not working, the door lock was STILL not working. Then I noticed these deep grooves around the plate where the gearshifter was, all the way around it, and I noticed them on the stereo console as well. I called Gerber and told them I was very unhappy with the damage that was done to my car at their hands. Then I called my adjuster and my local insurance agent. Needless to say, that was December. It is now April and nothing has been resolved. The man I dealt with at Gerber flat out lied to me the last time telling me that the manager at Subaru was supposed to be handling things. I spoke to John at Subaru and he said that was a lie. Subaru gave me an estimate of $1100 to fix all the damage done to my car. After multiple e-mails, texts, and phone calls, I am still dealing with adjusters and my car is still not fixed. I would not let them fix my rusty wheelbarrow. HORRIBLE.

I would give this place a poor at best. the whole mess was mismanaged from day one and a very bad experience. the lady that is managing is not even close to being managment material for a job like this, as you can tell right from the get go she has no clue what she is talking about. and thats not to mention the fact any time we talked on the phone it was nothing more than putting the blame on some one else.ive been there in the past and loved the customer service and quality of the work but with the present person running it i will not be back.

I came to this shop from an American Family claim. The shop transported my car to Anderson and cracked the windshield and damaged the hood. When trying to pick up my car, I showed up at the Muncie store to be told it was in Anderson. Now they are refusing to repair their damage. Very Very poor experience.
