I’ve been ordering groceries there for pickup for over a year now due to cancer and Covid and being a high risk person. Not once have they had everything on my list. There are always at least 2-3 items “out of stock”. Yet when my husband walks in the store he finds the items that they say were out of stock. When you allow subs it’s always exchanged with Kroger’s brand. This is unacceptable. Ive gotten salad mix that the next day was out of date. Meat that had two days left before it was bad. I’ve also had an issue with attitude in the meat dept when asking simple questions. I’m not the type of person to complain. But when I did complain to the manager he said, “well, technically the meat dept doesn’t open until 10:00 am on Sundays” sir, put up a sign, and it was 9:50 am. Apparently him offering 25.00 gift cards should fix it. I never take them by the way. I don’t want anything for free, I just want you to run the store properly. If I total up all the money we have wasted by throwing bad product out a day or two after buying it, I figure it would be about $60-$70 worth. This is a waste.

I just wanna post this to thank Amy the cashier at the Morton kroger! Im a instacart shopper and I was at the Morton kroger this morning10/11/21. I was checked out by the cashier named Amy. She was very nice and she bought my at my donuts because I was nice to her. She said most instant cart shoppers are mean, which I dont understand because were all just trying to do our jobs! Thanks again Amy you made my day!! 😁

The Cosmic Crisp apples are here and very delicious! According to the multi-million dollar marketing campaign, they are the best apples in world history, I think.Be prepared to pay the early adopter price.(Update - they are readily available,and at a very reasonable price).

This evening I stopped to pick up some chicken for dinner from the deli. Their was NONE made! I was informed by the only employee that she couldnt do it all!Im appalled by Kroger! I have been a lifetime Kroger shopper. Little by little, Ive watched Kroger slide down a slippery slope.I predict that in 5 years, Kroger will no longer exist. I bid farewell to Kroger!

Ive been in alot of Krogers but this one in Morton was clean, friendly,and had a great selection of foods and drinks .Iam in a w/c and it was easy getting around .Thank you for that cause us folks that are disabled sometimes just cant get down the rows in our chairs.I will be back*

It was crazy, only a little bit of snow coming our way and the was a long line to checkout with a 20 minute wait. Other than that, great; I love the place.

Employee admitted she didnt know how to do wic purchases with the new wic cards and my debit card was charged for the items. Spoke on the phone with manager who apologize and told me come in and they would make it right. So I went back in and was then told there is no way for them to correct it and was given attitude about it was my fault.On top of they hardly ever have wic approved items.No more of my business will be done here!

Super nice staff and a lot of cheap fruits and vegetables! Its definitely an option to visit before going to the big supermarket.

Great store.. best krogers either side of the Mississippi.. produce section was well stocked as busy as they were for being a holiday weekend. Nick was very helpful and went out of his way to find what i needed. Keep up the good workork

I have alot of good things to say about Morton and Pekin Kroger. The staff are always so effecient. Last week i was in the Morton one and the gentleman in produce was very attentive. He helped me pick out my fruits and veggies i need. This guy really knows his stuff, i may request him my next shopping day. The person helping me was very tall and reached some things for me i couldnt. Every job needs more people like this.

The only grocery store I’ll go to, Walmart is too far. They have everything I need, most of the time. They are some friendly faces, others don’t even bother to even acknowledge u. I needed help finding an out of stock item and the lady acted like she didn’t want to help me. She wasn’t helpful or happy. Always a clean store, that’s never a problem.

Im either going to Pekin or Washington for now on. I got a package of fresh deli meat. That first off wasnt what I asked for and 2nd it tasted off. In their return policy it even states with Covid they will return any fresh deli that doesnt meet freshness... For one the meat is slimy, smells funky and tastes off. They tried telling me they wouldnt return it even though it states in their return policy it meets requirements. They eventual gave in and said they will this ONE time. I told no worries I live in Morton and will not be shopping there again.

The selection of products is very good and the prices are okay. The store is clean and easy to navigate. I cannot recommend the Starbucks. If youre not a regular, the Starbucks employee will 1) Screw up your order, then 2) Not take responsibility and argue with Kroger management in front of you about how to rectify the situation, and 3) Tell you a refund can be procured not there at the Starbucks counter but at Krogers Customer Service counter. I dont need that kind of drama so I wont order a drink there again.

Busy but well stocked. Some of the people working there, however, arent very helpful and act like your really bothering them if you ask for help. Others are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make the shopping experience pleasant. Depends on who you get I guess.

Its my favorite Kroger. I drive 18 miles one way just to shop here. Its clean, has fresh deli, sushi, salad bar, produce. The meat dept is wonderful & you get even cuts in your meat. Theres nothing more irritating than getting a steak thats 1/2 thick on one end & 1/4 at the other end.

This Kroger is always clean and organized. I really like that they have a sushi chef that makes all the sushi fresh and who was very kind and helpful. Anytime I have needed help finding anything, the staff has been very cheerful and helpful.

My wife mistakenly left her phone set down at the check out line. We didnt notice the phone was missing for 2 hours. We located the phone via find my phone. Went to the store and their policy is to ring the Phone to verify ownership. Thank You for keeping the phone safe.

Morton is filled with good looking women, many of whom shop at this store. Im not trying to be funny. Such things are important to me!

This Kroger has had some of the friendliest employees over the years. I have been to Pekin, Lincoln, East Peoria, and Peoria Kroger stores off and on my entire life. Morton Kroger has a positive employee culture that is unmatched. Tonight I got to the checkout and had to go back to grab one more item. I was unsure of its location. Instead of sending me on a wild goose chase, the cashier went with me to make sure I could find it. That is the kind of service that makes this store superior. There was no one else waiting in line and 2 other lanes were also available for other customers at the time.

I go to this Kroger for all my groceries and fuel. The produce department is big and has a good variety. The new addition of a Starbucks is an added bonus. One of my favorite qualities of this store doesnt have anything to do with what they sell but it keeps me coming back, the music that they play in this store is a crazy good mix of hit after hit from the 70s through today and I often times dont stop myself from singing along.

I go here to get my produce all the time. Everything is easily organized. I like that there is sample of different cheese and other food items. Its cool because they have a Starbucks in the store too!

It was a very nice visit and the Key Ring App came in handy. Instead of carrying around all those reward cards, having them on the phone really works out.

My wife and I love the new online ordering. We will place our grocery order online every week, then my wife will drive to the store, and theyll bring it right out to our car. We love the time it saves us!

Need a bench or two in the store for senior s to use

Amazing staff, extremely helpful. Its a typical Kroger so youll find all your food necessities, but for me its honestly the staff that make up the difference. I can go to another Kroger thats almost the same distance, but prefer this one.

Just wonderful. They hire very nice and knowledgeable people that represent the Kroger experience with pride. Plenty of cashiers to get you on your way home to the kitchen.

We went there to get supper but there was only chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy and and Mac an cheese. There was no other hot food will not be back to your store if you cant have hot food at 5:00 pm. I was on way home and had to give my children grease chicken and mashed potatoes.

I enjoy seeing the folks at the Morton one. Super friendly and always ready to help. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh.

We love Kroger! Everything food lies within these walls, the workers are helpful, and theres a cheese island, which is pretty much all I want in life.

I really enjoy this location. The prices are reasonable and there is a Starbucks INSIDE the location. The only downside is a slightly limited selection due to Kroger being in a smaller town.

I go here when visiting family in Morton to get Starbucks. I have also picked up lunch here from the deli and its always fresh. I love the staff in the store!

Krogers in Morton is a very clean store. The checkers are always quick while other associates are willing to help you locate an item. Order online pick up curbside is cool too.

Once again. . out of two things I went there to buy. No one there to help me at 8:30 pm.Also, all candy advertised 30 % off of todays price but the sign did say...does not apply to anything on sale.... very misleading.

I used to brag to people about the Krogers meat department in Morton Illinois.... BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!Usually I could purchase a nice cut of beef for a fair price but it hasnt been that way in a long time. All the beef is overpriced now and not up to the QUALITY standards they use to operate at. Even the hamburger looks prepackaged and synthetic.YUCK!SO DISAPPOINTING!!!Other than the disappointing meat department, that use to be outstanding without having to go to the more expensive meat counter, this Kroger is typical.

Nice location that now has click list, however there is not always enough staff to help you, or check out. There is a Starbucks, which is a added bonus as well as a sushi department.

Meat selection it just Okay. I do not like to buy chicken here, Everytime I buy it, I feel like it is starting to turn. Sometimes they have a hard time keeping the produce section stocked. On several occasions Ive come out of there feeling like the place was just ransacked and I missed out on everything. Front of the house staff is EXCELLENT! More convenient than Wal Mart to run in and out. Managers are always friendly and customer service oriented. I wish the East Peoria Store was in Morton with the Morton front of the house staff....

Fresh Samon in a bag ready to go in the oven. Bag was not sealed properly by the person at the fish department. When we were ready to put it in the oven the bag opened and the samon fell on the floor.

The guy in the deli had no clue what hard salami was and said they were out of it while a 10 package was on display. Store needs TLC in all aisles.

It has a Starbucks, which is good. Its produce section is large, which is good. It closes off its alcohol section awkwardly in the middle of the store, which is obnoxious.

Set up time to pick up groceries between 5-6pm. I arrived at 5:09, someone came out at 5:15 to tell me that they had not even started with my grocery order. Finally by 6:08pm I received my groceries an hour later. I could have shopped for my groceries twice in that time frame. When I got home they gave us frozen green peppers instead of green beans and substituted 4 mango drinks different than what my wife ordered that had 4 times as much sugar and carbs, so they were thrown away. They should have just given us three of the correct ones and credit us for the others. I will not give Morton Kroger pickup service my business ever again. They are very slow and have been inaccurate with at least one item every time I have previously used their service
