Both my sister and I went to Sweet Pea for our wedding gown alterations. She was very well priced and did an EXCEPTIONAL job with both of our alterations! I had the skirt hemmed, sides taken in, straps shortened, and bustle added!! I felt like a million bucks in my wedding gown and nearly all that had to do with how well the gown fit me!!!!!! I had a little trouble with my bustle breaking during my reception, but I think that had to with my own 2 left feet because my sisters bustle at her wedding stayed intact the whole night and she is much more coordinated that I am!!!

I did not have my mother there, and I really don’t appreciate your response. I left a one star review, and left it at that. I left that “review”, because the person I dealt with was extremely rude.

I am a plus sized QUEEN and I found a dress almost immediately. I love this place and the owners are so personable and amazing. If you’re looking for somewhere for prom or a bridesmaids dresses do here!

So my original wedding date was January 23, 2021 and my fiancé and I decided to move up the wedding to December 10 of 2020. I was in a bit of a hurry to get alterations on my dress because I was going to wear it to the courthouse for our new wedding date. I went to Sweet Pea and Tami was able to alter my dress in 6 days. It fits like a glove! They are so kind here and work hard to keep prices reasonable and provide a speedy service with quality results! She also designed and created really fun masks for both bride and groom.

I love this place so much! They treat everyone like family and compared to many places they have decent pricing! I get all my pageant dresses from here and I love every single one of them! Tammy will work with you and find you dresses that you wouldnt even think to try! Overall I love it here!

I cant tell you how much I appreciate Tami and how amazing she is! I was in a wedding a few weeks ago and the week before the wedding, I went to the bridal store in Peoria to pick up my bridesmaid dress from their seamstress. Much to my dismay, the dress had not been tailored properly; it made me look frumpy and I was literally swimming in this dress. The entire dress shifted off my shoulders when I moved and it was not flattering at all! But somehow, it was my fault because I lost so much weight in 4 weeks that more needed to come off the sides and I didnt leave enough time to have it fitted again. ...I followed their time recommendations for tailoring to the tee as I purchased this dress in January... I didnt know whether I should cry or run out of the store I was so upset. But for $200 they could get it done for me…yeah no! After I got into my car, I called Tami and luckily caught her right before she left for the night and told her about my situation. As a total stranger, she talked me off the ledge and told me to come to the shop as soon as she opened Saturday morning so she could see what could be done with the dress. When I showed up first thing Saturday morning, she took me straight back into the dressing room, pinned me up (there was about 2 inches on EACH side that were pinned up to make it look right), and made sure that I liked how it looked and felt on me. It only took her 15 minutes! The fact that she actually cared how the look of the dress made me feel reassured me that I was in good hands. She charged me $40 and said she would have it done by Tuesday afternoon just in case I needed to have something else fixed before I left on Wednesday. I tried my dress on Tuesday night after work and IT FIT PERFECTLY. For the first time since I bought this dress, I felt comfortable and beautiful in my dress! I can’t thank Tami enough and I will definitely be back with more clothing. You won’t be disappointed with how Tami transforms your clothes. Thank you thank you thank you!!
