This student-initiated sustainable store is much better than any other store! It is free for everyone to bring things and take things at your leisure. I love that it is a student-run organization where they can learn and grow in a way that positively influences the world. (BREW)The free store is now open 24 hours a day and the eco representatives from the college do a great job of keeping it clean and current. You can find clothes, shoes, non-perishable snacks, rugs, school supplies, art supplies, etc.It is also awesome that the student eco-reps have sent items and food to Youth works, local thrift stores, a shelter, churches united, and great plains food bank. The student leaders have done awesome things here and hopefully future student leaders continue to have this avenue to improve the college and local community in a sustainable manner.
