Bought 2021 Subaru Forester. It was straight forward process, no bs from the sales guy who was actually normal and didnt press us. The best part was when i said i was coming to get it, they were actually ready for me and i was in and out within 45 min (I financed the vehicle) which is pretty impressive! Well done!

I was Driving through Montgomery needed a pad for clutch pedal stopped at the Subaru dealership to pick one up .I was intending to fit it on myself but told me to pull into the garage .Then they fitted it on the petal and send me on my way. Cost of pad only 6 dollars. I was treated courteously and professionally and quickly . I live in Florida but may have my vehicle serviced there next time I am driving through there because of the great service for only a six dollar part!

I was able to see the inventory online. After narrowing down want I was looking for, I made an appt online to go in and meet with Kohner. I was a little early for the appt and they were accommodating. After explaining what I wanted Kohner was able to narrow down options and walked me a car that fit the bill. I took the car for a test drive and liked it very much. I went back home to think things over. I was able to reach back out to Kohner and he emailed me the application to get things started. Once everything was approved they emailed documents and we were able to do everything while I was still at work. It was tremendously helpful to not have to go in and wait at the dealership. We went in the next morning to sign papers and pick up the vehicle. I would highly recommend this Subaru dealership, not my first. And I would recommend Kohner as well. He was really helpful and made the experience easy. However, everyone up there seemed really friendly. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been put off by a few car salesmen but this experience was refreshing. I have another teenager turning 16 next year, pretty sure I will go straight here.

Absolutely fantastic!! Went in late on a Friday and the service manager himself helped me as all his techs were gone. Definitely has my business. Have to go back on Monday and he will be sure my problem is taken care of if I get there at 0730 so I can get to work at the hospital by my shift start at 0900. Sooo impressed especially never being here before and from out of state.

Great experience. Damien met us in the parking lot while we were first looking at the inventory. He was friendly and available to help but not pushy. I explained what I was looking for and the colors I was interested in and he went inside and got the keys to several models for me to test drive. He went through the differences of each setup and let me go and test drive the ones that I was interested in. We loved the forrester and before the end of the day I was driving it home. I cannot say enough about the extraordinary experience I had leasing a new Ascent. I needed a specific trim level and other options and beyond having the best base price of anywhere I looked (I contacted every Subaru dealer within a days drive of Atlanta, and 3 in Texas), they cut me a great deal on the additional equipment I needed. They’re handling the registration paperwork and getting plates sent to me, which I had to do myself last time I leased in Atlanta. Kahner was a great salesperson. Excellent communication & when he realized they didn’t put the books in it he drove them to the restaurant we went to for dinner. I told him I wanted to take a look in the merch case and he gave me a tshirt & mask. Financing department didn’t try to mess me around. I told them the payment I wanted and they just got it done. At Montgomery Subaru, we bought a 2020 Forester in January 2020. In February 2021, my wife was t-boned by another driver who ran a red light. Although the exterior damage was severe enough to total the vehicle, my wife only had a small bruise on her knee. Thank goodness for good construction by Subaru. Tabor Cleburg at Montgomery Subaru helped us immensely, to get a new replacement Forester the same day we got our insurance settlement.

I had a great experience at this dealership with warranty work performed with my 2016 WRX STi until the last repair for a new short block. I had my car towed to the dealership around 9 pm and went in the next morning to let the service department know what my car was there for. They were quick to get it fixed and gave me a new Outback service loaner. The issue I have with this dealership and the reason I will make over an hour drive out of way to the Birmingham Subaru dealership is because when I went to pick my car back up from having the new short block work done, I did a walk around and now had a 6 inch horizontal crack in my bumper. I pointed it out to Tommy who took a photo and said he would tell Dennis. I heard from Dennis the next day and he never was informed of my bumper and blamed the tow company. I have a photo of the car going on the truck where there is clearly no damage to the bumper. I also saw the car the next morning and stood in front of it with my boyfriend staring at the front end up close and from a distance and never saw any damage. Another time I went to the dealership to get some items form my car and it was on a lift and raised up a bit and I stood in front of the drivers side in front of the bumper and again, no glaring issues were noticed. They will not take responsibility and told me to file a comprehensive claim with insurance and pay my $500 deductible. The car left me with no damage and was returned needing a new bumper. If you dare to take your car her, please inspect it upon arrival and when receiving it back.

Montgomery Subarus service department is the best. They treat you like family. They offer a free car wash whenever a service is performed, They invite you to come in for a free lunch with them on Fridays.I recently had routine 6 month maintenance done on my Outback. I was sitting in the waiting area when one of the service technicians asked through and said hi Mrs. Sweezey. I was surprised that he recognized me. I had changed my hair color since the last time I had been in and I was wearing a mask due to Covid. They also do excellent work.

We own a Subaru. We love it. We purchased ours from a different dealership in Birmingham and had a great experience... However my mother is shopping around for a vehicle and we went here to look at Montgomery Subaru after recommending the Subaru brand to her. There is nothing more frustrating than spending several hours somewhere just to have your time wasted.The vehicle listed on their website for sale, as available in stock, which my wife has just spoken with the sales manager about the day before, was being used elsewhere for some other purpose and wasnt available to look at. Sure, things come up, and things happen. No sweat.However, we went in from the start telling them we wanted to look at used vehicles for my mother. Tried to push new, which is fine, thats part of the game. I bave no problem with that, but not in her price range.Then we sat in an office for what seemed like well over half an hour, alone, waiting on our guy to talk to his manager only then for him to come back and say they wouldnt negotiate whatsoever on either used vehicles that we had asked about.Not respectful of my time, in this customers humble opinion. Did not have a great experience and would not recommend for purchasing a car. I have purchased several vehicles from different dealerships, both used and new, and never had this experience.To be quite frank, if you have no intention of negotiating on price, dont have me sit and waste my time, tell me up front. Otherwise I wouldnt have had my mother drive two hours here, would have just bought a vehicle off the internet.As a side note, we have never had any issues at all with the service side of this business.

Went to look at 2020 Legacy 2.5i. Salesman (Damien) was great and we struck up a nice conversation. We ended up answering each others questions, cracking jokes, and I let the salesman use it as a training excercise with a knowledgeable customer. Sales manager however monologued me for 35 minutes starting with, What can I do to make this process easier and get you into a car today? And tried to upgrqde me to a 2021 Legacy 2.5i Premium. What can you do to get me into a car? You can let me compare a 2017 Volvo V60 Cross Country, a 2019 Volvo S60 T6 AWD, a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, and a 2020 Subaru Legacy by sitting inside them, getting a feel for the controls, letting me see the underside on a lift, and explaining the 150 point inspection to me instead of saying you just have an inspection. I used to build cars for 2 years so just saying we look over the car isnt telling me anything.Thank you and please remember: You never know what a customer knows. Stay safe, and be well.

I have had our 14 Forester serviced at Montgomery Subaru since purchasing it from them. Service is consistently good and the staff is friendly and communicates well. I had one problem recently, a part that was supposed to be in stock but wasnt, and it required an additional trip to get the work done. It seemed an honest mistake and they took full responsibility for it and offered fair compensation for my time and trouble. I was very appreciative of that.

I purchased a 2020 Outback XT. The experience I got there was quite good. Much easier and more pleasant than the other dealerships in town actually.I have traditionally been a Dodge guy but figured Id give them a shot since the Dodge dealership didnt have anything on the lot that I was looking for at the time. Stopping by this dealership I got people who were easy to work with, didnt push the sale and let the car try to sell itself. Any question I had about the car they could answer it or had an answer within 5 minutes.My overall experiance was actually quite pleasant and I brought back a few friends and a family member to buy a car from them. Have to say I wasnt much on the Subaru brand before really but if the service and hospitality stay that good. I might not go anywhere else....

This is the best dealership in the country. We have now bought two cars there and we live in Florida. The Subaru dealer in our area (Fort Walton Beach) is awful so we searched and found this dealership, and they could not be friendlier or more helpful.

Subaru in general is amazing! We are very big about safety and so a we knew we wanted a Subaru. Overall everything was good, we ended up buying a car for a great price. I took one star off because I often felt left out or pushed to the side when it came to talking about the car. The women helping us often spoke to my husband and if I piped in she’d speak over me of continue speaking to my husband. When we were signing papers the man felt very cold towards me and didn’t seem to want to acknowledge me in the end. They were never directly rude or anything but it just seemed like they were more interested in my husband than me. Overall though we love our Subaru and the car itself is amazing.******I’d like to edit this by saying that the woman that helped us did call and apologize after seeing my review. She was kind and I could tell her apology was heart felt. Still love our Subaru and would definitely recommend this car to everyone. **********

Every time I schedule an appointment with MGM Subaru they make sure to remind me by email and phone calls which I appreciate. They also give my XV a bath and vacuum. All the reps and service members are incredibly nice. Wasn’t a fan of one rep trying to “hard sell” me on the extended warranty. Dude was just doing his job. But I just wanted SOME information and expressed that I would not be able to purchase it this time around. No biggie. I would appreciate a walk around to discuss the things that I’m personally concerned with too. That way I feel like they care about keeping my Subie looking and running like new. Just a few pointers. I love the recycling and the info provided.

We narrowed down our vehicle search to the Subaru Outback. We tried to purchase from our local dealers but got the back and forth you usually get from car dealers. We reached out to Matt Corbin online and he got back to us with a fair price we thought. It took us about a month and Matt was never pushy just followed up. We finalized the deal over the phone and when we drove up we were in and out of the dealership in a few hours after going over the features of the car. Matt was very knowledgeable on the features and technology of the car also. We would do business with Montgomery Subaru again if we were in the market for a Subaru.

Wife needed to have the battery replaced in our 2017 Outback while returning from a trip. Covered under warranty, but the dealership failed to reinstall the stock battery cover after replacing the new battery. When my wife inquired about it, she was told they only put those on in Alaska. Ummm, no. They are part of the car. Check the owners manual or watch a YouTube video. That lie cost a star. They told her they cleaned up the battery tray from when roadside assistance poured Coke on the corroded positive post. I retrieved the battery cover (still attached to the old battery) from this dealership a week later. When I put the battery cover on, I pulled the battery to check. Coke, grime, and remnants of corrosion were still there. That lie cost another star. Nice atmosphere, pleasant folks to talk to. Trust but verify all work before driving away.

I could write a book about how awesome this place is. We traveled from Pensacola to lease a 2018 Crosstrek after spending several months researching pricing and talking to various dealers in the region. I cant stress enough how great Kyle was when communicating via email, always responsive and polite. He went above and beyond to get me the deal I wanted and earn my business. Rob helped us with the paperwork when we arrived and he was also extremely friendly, Rob and Kyle make a great team. We arrived at 5pm and were driving off the lot an hour later, and about half of that time was spent socializing and checking out the car. This dealership is a diamond in the rough, salesman like Kyle and Rob are a rare breed. If you are even remotely in range of Montgomery, AL then you have to give them a shot. I purchased a 2019 WRX from Montgomery Subaru on January 19, 2019. The entire experience from the web search to financing and leaving the dealership with the vehicle was superb. If you are in the market for a Subaru I cant recommend this dealership enough. Kyle Campbell was everything I personally want in a salesman. Courteous, knowledgeable and not pushy in the least. I dont normally do this but I plan on having Montgomery Subaru handle all of my vehicle maintenance as well.

And they must be good to their employees because I always deal with the same friendly and knowledgeable folks- they know me and what I need and are also ready to give me extra advice and help - like tutoring on all the technology!Their facility is spotless, comfortable, and has everything you might need while you wait. And if youre there on Friday Im told you can have lunch with them - no wonder the employees never leave! So I dont think you can go wrong with a Subaru or with this Montgomery dealership!
