This place always has such a huge assortment. Its such a solid place to go stock up on really solid beers and spirits. They dont always have to top top of the line but its a great place to shop and they make up in having such a good variety year round.

This is one place you can count on to have a large selection at a fair price. You can also count on skinny aisles and probably bumping into a fellow shopper but it is all worth the experience. With todays extreme grocery stores, it is hard to believe that this store was once a Supermarket of a grocery store. Keep up the good work DL!

I have been going to Discount Liquor for many years. I used to go in there for my Grandpa he had to have his Sharpsnon alcoholic beer and a bottle of Old Thompson Whiskey. LOL I know never made sense to me either.

Was very busy. Surprisingly nice wine selection in such a small space. Had a sampling going on also. Hoppin place and friendly staff.

Large selection of liquor and they regularly maintain kegs of beer on hand no pre-order required. You can pre-order but every time I have called they have had a 1/2 or 1/4 barrel of my liking.

Great selection of beer and spirits, but they sometimes skimp on CO2 fills. Came in with my empty tank and they charged me for an 8lb fill. After re-weighing the full tank myself, I found they filled only 3lb -- less than half of what I paid for.Edit: I was contacted by the manager who promised me a free fill next time I come in -- hopefully they make good on this!Edit 2: I went in yesterday and spoke to Paul at Discount Liquor. He was extremely friendly and professional and personally saw to it that my tank was filled to the best of their abilities. He explained that they have a gravity-fed CO2 system (not pumped), so they cant always fill to the rated weight for a tank. This time, the fill (same 8 lb tank) was 5 1/2 lb of gas. Im happy to have access to local CO2 refilling and Im very pleased with Discount Liquors high level of customer service.

This place has the largest selection of beer, wine and soda. Their prices are the lowest in the city. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. Ive been going there since the moved from Forest Home Avenue.

I love the selection, but I am never coming back here because the woman who checked me out was abrasive (I was trying to make pleasant small talk during check-out, and she literally said UM NO and sighed really loud before declaring my total) and it just rubbed me the wrong way... I know this place is mostly family-run but it honestly seemed like I was bothering her and that my presence was no more than a chore to her so Ill get my wine at el Rey I guess? 🤷‍♀️
