Have had three tractors and a zero turn here. I just dont know why I keep going back. Initial purchase is always great. The financing department is great and is probably the reason I have kept going back. I have had some run ins with service on the first tractor but they have came through for me on the second tractor.The worst feeling is when you call in after using your new tractor (4hrs of use, I bought it and we didnt have the new house yet so it was kept inside my garage) then realizing that you would like a different attaching bucket (the pin on bucket was never used ) and the sales man telling you its worthless to them even unused and that they dont usually sell this type of bucket (well you sold one to me). Or maybe he just sold me what they had at the time (his words not mine). I dont want something for nothing but I just dont feel like my business is appreciated, I also always feel like I am chasing the salespeople there too.

This place was amazing to walk around an look at all the items they have for the outdoors all the climbing gear an saws the line of boots they carry guaranteed they have what you want. Took my 3yr old son there took me a hour to get him outta there! This place is packed with great tools an the sales people that we spoke with while there were helpful in every way possible.

Dealt with the worst salesman ever his name is Jason, told him I was interested in a tractor I had seen online his short answer was it is sold, I then asked him about a 2nd tractor and he said he sold all of that type tractor on Monday and Tuesday, today is Thursday and they are still on the website. The worst part was he never asked if he could help with anything just gave short answers. I will be buying a tractor new or used but not from Chappell Tractor.Thank you BradAfter talking with you I realized my distaste for doing business with you and your company had nothing to do with you or your company and only a rude employee. Ive had them service my New Holland Tractor I bought elsewhere about 15 years ago in Vermont. The service department has been absolutely wonderful to work with, and are head and shoulders above any other tractor dealer...not even close. In particular I cant say enough good things about Garrett one of their mobile service technicians. He is incredibly talented, hard working, patient, and simply a great person. Chappell tractor is very fortunate to have someone like Garrett on staff.

Today I went in to buy an anniversary gift for my husband. I asked for a specific kind of chainsaw. As a woman walking into a place that mainly deals with men, I did expect the workers to be condescending or make assumptions. I wish I remember the name of the men I worked with but they were fantastic and respectful. Not once did they assume I was buying the chainsaw for someone else or that I didnt know what I was doing. (I absolutely was buying it for someone else and did NOT know what I was doing but I GREATLY appreciated the respect). I would recommend this place for any woman that fears going into a store that appears to be tailored to men! Wonderful customer service, thank you! :)

I’m leaving this review not because of shopping there, but rather the experience I had this morning. I have a diesel truck and the fuel was gelling, I managed to make it off exit 13. I called to see if they had rescue 911 (for gelled fuel) I was also on my way to urgent care with my toddler. It was extremely cold out. I talked to a couple people to see if there was anyway that someone could bring me some, as I was in a bad position. I was told they didn’t provide that service. Ok... tow truck and Uber was next on my list. As I was calling a tow truck, two men showed up behind me.I t was the guys from chappell. They rescued me, and didn’t have to. Because of them I was able to take care of my son, and get my truck working again!I didn’t get their names! I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Really!

I brought my Honda mower there because I received a coupon for discounted pre-season service. Mower was less than two years old, and I wasnt planning on service, but as I just bought $5600 worth of Honda snowthrowers from them over the last 6 months, I figured it was a good way to get acquainted with their service department, which Id never used, despite having bought from Chappell over the last 10 years.It is my bad for not doing so, but I did not start the mower before bringing it over for the scheduled service. I run ethanol-free fuel in all my small engines, and run them dry at the end of each season prior to storage, so I had no reason to believe this sub-2 year old mower wouldnt start.I got a call from the Service Dept. stating the mower would not start, and needed $165 worth or work and a new carb. I drove over and tried starting it myself, and after failing, I gave them the go-ahead to do the work.I inquired if this was warranty work, and was told it wasnt as the cause was water in the fuel. This is where my doubt comes in, because I use ethanol-free fuel, there is almost zero chance of water int he fuel line. Unfortunately, as I mentioned, I failed to start it before I brought it there, so I have to eat the results.I also explicitly told them that I wanted ALL parts returned with the machine that were replaced, and the woman at the service desk said this would be the case. I did NOT receive the parts back, and in addition, they charged me for a gallon of ethanol-free fuel for $22, with no explanation.EDIT -- they contacted me and reimbursed me for the fuel cost.EDIT -- Mower runs ok, but no longer slow idles. It stalls out when the throttle is dropped down while emptying the bag.

Nice people HOWEVER, I took my lawnmower (which I had bought there) to them because it refused to start. They told me I had accidentally added some diesel fuel to the gas (guilty as charged).They wanted $240 to replace the carburetor, air filter, and a few other things. Yikes! I refused and took my sick mower back home. Then I did what common sense would tell you to do - I dumped out the bad fuel and put in some fresh gas. Vroom, all better.They could have done this too but instead chose to screw me. Shame on you guys. Never again. I also had bought an expensive snow blower there. Theyll never see me again.

They cover everything from heavy equipment to tee shirts, but my experience with them is with forestry equipment, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment. Very good stock of supplies, from peaveys to wedges to tongs to chain. Good selection of Husqvarna and Stihl saws, not just the dusty outdated homeowner models most stores keep in stock but new professional saws like the MS462C and 572XP. Best actual stock of parts Ive found in the North-of-Boston/Southern-NH area too (things like rims, bars, chain, decomps, handles, brake flags), and they make it pretty easy to order the less common parts that are tough to find even online. Prices are generally good, as always Stihl is expensive and nearly non-negotiable, but their prices are always a bit less than other options. Staff has been friendly and knowledgeable thus far for me. Neat place to visit as well, very nice facility with displayed equipment on multiple levels. Gets busy on weekends, but someday Ill take my boys here as a fun outing.

Same or similar product (husqurvana ) for about if nit the same as the big box no real help stores .by buying from a knowledgable local owned store I was able to double my warranty.If your looking at husky snowblowers steer clear of the big box stores let the pros set it up the rite way so you have a usable machine for pretty much the same money . I believe they may have a better motor on them as well.

Just wanted to say how happy I am with the guys over at Chapell Tractor. I own a Kubota L6060 and had an issue with it that need repair. They quoted me a price and said they may be able to get Kubota to help with a portion of it due to the low hours. To my surprise and amazement, Kubota fully warrantied the entire repair. This was not a small repair, roughly $2800.00. Just wanted to say how impressed I am with Chappell Tractor and Kubota for going above and beyond in their service department!!

Gave 5 stars j bought a 11,000 dollar lawn mower and 400 dollar chain saw. Could not start chain saw, so I brought it in to have them look at it. When I picked it up they tried to charge me 59 dollars for the repair. Only 3 months old. I said no way Im paying for that. They did not charge me afterall, but they should of known that it was only 3 months old and when u buy it they ask u to buy the Stihl oil and u get a 2 year warranty. Just kinda didint care for that experience.

2nd Update - The snowblower has been repaired, with all internal components replaced (as opposed to just the ones I was having a problem with). I am grateful that I was finally heard, and Mike was a tremendous help in navigating the repairs. It was delivered back to me, and I am hopefully that I will actually be able to successfully use it for the winter of 2018/19. Thank you for helping me resolve this!UPDATED - After months without resolution, and posting the contents of the email that I sent below (along with a one-star review), the company reached out to me and will be zeroing out the balance on the bill, and repairing the snowblower at their cost. I will be dropping it off later this week for repair. Once repairs are completed, I will update this review again. I would like to clarify that the sales professional I worked with was very helpful and kind throughout this entire process, and I am pleased that upper level management has stepped in to follow through on the level of service I was promised.Original Post...Prior to scheduling this service appointment, I was was assured that, in the event that the issue with the snowblower was not related to incorrect use, the entire fee for the service call and the cost of repairs would be waived. The service technician verified that the issue was due to a worn part, and that it was sold to me in that condition, and, therefore I would not be financially responsible. Although he tightened it, I was never informed that he did not fix the part. As a result the part failed again during the following snowstorm. Now, I have been without a serviceable snowblower for all but one storm this winter.The faulty piece (a worn collar) cost me thousands of dollars, because I had to enter a plow contract after repeated failures. I purchased this tractor with a snowblower for the primary purpose of addressing snow removal at my farm, and was repeatedly assured that this tractor, although smaller than what I was initially looking for, was more than appropriate for the intended use. I was assured when I purchased this equipment that, if it did not perform to the needs I required, it would be fixed or purchased back at the price I purchased it from and applied towards a suitable piece of equipment.Now, Ive been informed that neither of these options are available to me, Im out thousands of dollars, Ive repeatedly and kindly contacted Chappell Tractor regarding fixing this recent bill (which was sent in error), and now Im being harrassed.Im appalled at your failure to address this in a reasonable and professional manner and make good on your promises that led me to do business with you in the first place. I performed my due diligence up front prior to making this purchase by asking the appropriate questions and gathering the information necessary to make an informed decision. Unfortunately, I had to rely on the information that you provided me and the promises you made. Clearly, I was lied to in order to make a sale.Now Im stuck paying a plow company because I cant do the work myself with my newborn out in a snow storm. This is an abhorrent business practice and needs to be rectified.
