Went in yesterday with wonky PSI in a passenger tire. Larry and Orange Spice came right out to assist me. They were both super friendly and helpful. Orange Spice went above and beyond to help and explain. Tire was taken care of, all others checked, and I was out the door in no time. I plan on going back to buy new tires soon as my tread is worn. Orange Spice volunteered to help me with annoying rattling hubcaps. Overall, 5 out of 5 star experience.

My experience at the auto Caro’s Center was just fantastic. The mechanics and people working in the service department did an excellent job with my car. One person in particular, named Wally, went above and beyond to make my experience over the top great. I will forever be coming back to Walmart for all my auto care needs because of the service he provided.

Very poor service from the manager. My husband did a job and paid for every job. They didnt do the full service. My husband went back there and they wanted to charge more money for the service he has already paid for, even though my husband has the invoice for the service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Got new tires here about five months ago. Yes, the service took a while, but I was prepared and brought a book. Couple of hours later I had brand new tires installed which have been running great without any problems since. Prices here are unbeatable. Staff was friendly.

Busy not much Customer help for ordering. Website doesnt allow for changes in manufacturer standard size. Hard to accomplish acquiring tires. Stock is very limited. Have to order online which like I said is hard to navigate.

Excellent service. They installed four tires in my car and did so perfectly and at a great price. Buy your tires from Walmart.com and have them delivered in store. These guys will take great care of you!!

When I called, I was not told that there compressor was down. Considering I asked about a tire being in stock and told the guy I was using a temporary, thats pretty important information.

The auto center (Walmart Fort Union) is the location I took my Mazda XS sedan to for the past 12 yrs. Later, car sold and switched to VW Passat. For oil change, tires or car battery service, this is and still is the location I take my vehicle to. Based on my experience, the mechanics can come and go, or transfer to another Walmart location. Likewise, Walmart auto center managers may transfer to other auto center shops within Walmart organization. The same applies to other auto shops (i.e., Burt Brothers stores, Big O Tires and any auto shops of employees coming and going, staying but transfer to another locations, or depart with their employers and work for another trade of same industry).Based on the length of years on the Fort Union auto shop, the mechanics have always went out of their ways to answer questions for me or look up info when I asked them to; despite how very busy they are with vehicles lined up for various types of services. They work diligently and have a sense of time to search, provide helpful info when I was there in-person. At times, not often, an oil change may take a slightly longer time than usual. Sometimes, its not the mechanics, but various parts or components inside the engine that may or may not be removed or taking off due to its capped or installed or screwed in a dead spot. Theyre honest with me, let me know to take the car to a foreign auto shop to have it looked it to get a 2nd opinion so they take that extra time to diagnose what they can see that might be an issue or problem, recommend for a 2nd opinion of foreign auto repairs.The main store phone # is the issue on Fort Union as with any Walmart locations (the person(s) who is to answer the main line are not always there. You can call, can take sometime for someone to answer the main line, they transfer your call to whichever dept you requested, but the other depts often times wander thru the store, not there to answer the phone. Likewise with the Auto Center, theyre busy registering customers car for various types of services, assist with parts, search info for customers so theyre not always at cash register (Auto Center counter) to answer the phone like a front desk receptionist would.Ive not experience anything negative based on all my visit. Id note its difficult to call and reach various depts, no one answers. You can be on-hold for 10 min or longer, it just rings and continued ringing endlessly, still no one answers.The Auto Center team are straightforward, they diagnose, provide what they find out, let you know the news. One guy, Lawrence was so helpful, he was busy with 2 vehicles pulled up in line in need of service, but because I was at auto center cash register, he looked up tire info for me, wrote down the size-width-type of tires for my car, ordered online based on my request, printed a copy of the tires order for me to take with me. The tires are ordered, will take my VW Passat back to Ft Union for them to install. They went above and beyond of my visits.As for having headlight restoration serviced, Carson was excellent in puffing out cloudy-yellowish residue. The cost $25 and he did everything that should be done, result was a shiny-polished-new look on the headlights. This morning when I left the house for work 5:50am, still dark, noticed a significant difference of the brightness, helps greatly to produce an improved visual effect. Carson went above and beyond, hes cordial-professional-offered exceptional customer service.

These guys pushed and pushed me to get the road hazard insurance for my tires. I don’t drive much lately, so I opted out. They still charged me for it, and I asked for it to be removed.By the time I got home (literally across the street), my right back tire was flat. I drove back, and they insisted that I’d have to pay to get it fixed....Do not trust this place. I will never go back.

Waited 30 minutes to get someone on the front desk. No one show up. Ended up leaving.

About tire at Walmart two weeks and they told me that I did not have any warranty on it and not even a manufacturers warranty and then I had to fight and fix the tire myself

Waited about 2 hours for new tires and alignment before they told me my car is too low to be serviced. Its at stock height. I think theyre just lazy.

Service was terrible. The coubter staff as well as the shop staff were very rude and definitely were not worried about getting my in and out on a timely basis. Took almost two hours to mount four tires. They failed to install a tire pressure sensor correctly on one wheel and the other wheel was completely flat 12 hours later. Pricing wasnt any better than anywhere else.

Took about 5 minutes for someone to help us at the counter. There was one customer infront of us, getting new tire(s), and we were getting an oil change. Took about an hour and a half for us to get all the way done. Will not be coming back, will not recommend.

Are you kidding me? An associate and a person who claimed to be a manager said that they cannot quote tire prices unless the tires are in stock. I put in a size and unless its in stock, it just shows a blank screen. Untrained employees just dont care to learn anything. Big thumbs down.

Triple checked hours of operation before arriving twenty minutes after opening and not a soul was available. I even called and was told they do in fact open at 7 (it was now 7:18) and that since the customer entrance was still locked they would send someone to open it. I was here (with another customer) until 7:45 and still nothing - no unlocked door n a d a. Thanks, Walmart!! 0 out of 10 would recommend

Woke up to a flat on New Year’s Day. No tire places were open, except for the Walmart Auto Center. Thank goodness they were. I dropped in, they found a slow leak and fixed it without charging me. It was a wait for the car ahead of me to finish, but sure beats having a flat tire all day.

It depends on who is working if you have a good experience. There has been times when you feel rushed out the door or treated badly. Other times there has been some really helpful employees that actually care to explain what needs to be done and go above and beyond for your best interest.

Worst customer service all 3 times Ive used them. The first experience they told me they were understaffed and to come back tomorrow. The next day they quoted me 45 minutes; it took 2 hours. The final time they quoted me 2 hours. When I sat down I overheard the people next to me say they had been quoted 30 minutes for an oil change and had been waiting over an hour so I took my tire, drove to the Sandy Walmart and they finished in about half an hour. I would avoid these people at all costs

A lot of people have been giving this place a bad reputation, but I actually had really good experiences. Ive been here two times for different matters. Both times they were quick and efficient, and when there were problems, they fixed them. Overall, would recommend!

Poor poor customer service. Came in with money to buy 2 new tires and the man in the tire center would not find me a comparable tire to the ones I had, refused to help me locate any, and was a jerk. This is at 8 am and I was the only customer there. Never going back to this location, now I know why it was empty. Thank goodness the tire center in Taylorsville was helpful and located tires. Never going back to Ft. Union.

Horrible. Me and my wife needed to do the weekly grocery shopping and right when we go in we get told that we have to leave our diaper bag because it was a backpack/oversized bag. This wasnt the first time that we were told this, but normally we can explain that it is a diaper bag, and we have two kids that need diapers and the other supplies in the diaper bag. Heck, we would even let them look inside and see that it is not empty, and that there would be no way that we could carry anything else inside it other than the diapers, wipes, treats, etc. However we were told that, Walmart doesnt allow backpack-like bags. Not cool. Perhaps the employees ( who might I add treat us like crap every time we go in) would like to clean my kids poopy diapers themselves since they confiscated my diaper bag? Anyway never going back there wouldnt recommend this Walmart or any Walmart that has this policy.

After leaving auto for 4 tires, they called and told me of sale on better tire with better warranty which cost less then the ones I requested! Great job!

Worst customer service! I called to ask a few questions about getting my oil changed. The person on the phone mumbled and seemed like I was inconvenienceing him. He even hung up on me before I could finish asking my next question. Ive been here before for oil changes and the wait is always at least an hour regardless of whether or not youre the only one there. I know its typically more expensive to go elsewhere but I totally recommend it. These people dont need your business. If you do happen to go here, make sure your hood is closed all the way before driving off. I was on the freeway when I noticed my hood bouncing up and down/not properly closed.

Absolute waste of time! Employees are standing around and they tell customers its a 2 hour wait when there is just 2 cars in front of you for oil!! SERIOUS then they get upset when you dont leave after they tell you its a 2 hour wait, for a 15 min job horrible. Wallmart please call around on wait times or average oil change times per car and fire these people and get people that are willing to work.

After leaving Taylorsville location for receiving the single most horrible customer service incident of my entire 45 years of life ...these guys took me right in and did rotate, balance and flat repair all in 32 minutes. (The same time it took t-ville to even open).

Second car in line still took an hour and a half for an oil change. When I watched them bring my keys in I walked up to the counter and the guy just walks away then I waited 15 more minutes for someone else to show up and give me my keys. This is the worst walmart Ive ever been to and thats bad because Im from chicago

Showed up half an hour before close. Not only would they not help me, (whatever maybe they didnt have time) but they had all their signage and tires totally put away.

When I ran that shop 15 years ago we changed 900 oil changes a day... Now they cant even do 2 in two hours.. never taking my cars to Walmart again
