4 stars for this one factor. My mother is a loyal customer of Castle Ford in Michigan City Indiana. She bought her second Ford Fusion from them. Remind you my mother pays up front never a hassle because she never needs financing. She straight up pays in full for her cars. Samantha! Girl you need to up your game! My friends recommended you. This is what happened. My mothers car needed some theft device piece on the door that was missing that was promised to be replaced by the salesperson named above. No communication whatsoever and never returned my mothers calls. My mother made a drop in come to find out the part was never ordered. Thats fine but please dont ignore your customers especially if it was one of the easiest sales. She knew what car she wanted had the money I took her to you. Easy sale! The entire staff was friendly and didnt make me feel pressured at all. Jherek was super patient with me not being able to make a decision. He never made me feel like I was being forced to make the purchase. He actually listened to what I needed for my life and make a suggestion of a car I never would have picked, which was the perfect new car for me. 1000% would recommend anyone looking to go here. I am always pleased with the care and and service of Castle and have told many people how happy I am with everybody there. I have had people tell me they do not go to the dealer of the make of their auto because they are continually trying to sell them another car when they go in for service. I have never had that happen at Castle. You always check everything for me and I am completely confident that my 2004 Mercury will last me for as long as I need it, thanks to the services you provide. I soon will be 88 yrs old but still have to drive to Valparaiso at least a couple times a week to visit my husband who is an extended care facility there so am depending on this car.Thank you so very much.

I went in looking at a Shelby gt500 that had just arrived, and wasnt even on the showroom floor yet. My sales rep Jason Garcia helped me with all the questions I had. We sat down and worked some numbers, and not much longer, we worked a deal with my trade in. It was a really good experience. There wasnt the typical pressure sales pitch that you may get elsewhere. Jason made the transaction quick, and we didnt have to go back and forth multiple times trying to get where we both wanted numbers wise.

I thought I’d give Castle Ford a second chance.To start, our first experience with Castle Ford was less than ideal. Our car needed a Front Axle alignment, 2 New Tires for the front and a new vacuum hose part ordered as I could install that myself.The first quote from Castles service team was wrong because they neglected to listen to me when I said I wanted to install the vacuum hose myself. Not a deal breaker just miscommunication.The Next day Castle called to inform me that the car was ready for pickup. Upon arrival I saw my car pulled up front and I noticed our old tires still remained on the front. I was not too happy about this since now its an inconvenience and I know they completed a front alignment with our old tires and not new tires. I remained calm and spoke to the service manager who argued with me that the new tires were put on. When I asked her to come out and see for herself did she still disagreed with me. The arguing was not necessary and her attitude was not professional. She called the service tech over and he said no, they did not change the tires. So now I/m left to believe that a “Professional service manager“ does not know what a new tires looks like. SMHThey put the new tires on quickly and of course did not do another alignment, when I asked as it was “not necessary“ according to them. P.S this was late afternoon so we know what that means, They want to go home and not make it right.A year had passed and we decided to give them another chance since they were the closest diesel repair shop. Regret city here we come.My 2004 Ford E350 6.0 Diesel engine wouldn’t start.Ford service center told me over the phone that the diagnostic will cost 139 bucks. Deal!The Service appointment was on a Thursday morning, My wife called Thursday evening to ask what they found, again she spoke with the woman in service and again there was a bit of attitude when my wife asked why she was on hold for 25 mins. No word on our vehicle but she explained what our appt was for on Thursday. A Service appt. is for service and basically just there for her to talk to us. Umm ok.Tuesday of next week I get a call asking for more time. Ok.The next day (Wednesday) they called me again to tell me that one Alternator has to be replaced and they could fix it for 1380 dollars to replace an Alternator and a Fuel filter.I called it off. That seemed steep to me. I politely declined and that’s when I was told I owed them 320 bucks.The young CS guy recognized that he made a mistake and pulled it down to 270 bucks270 bucks is still more than the agreed upon price of 139 like they told us on the phone.After I picked it up and drove it home I called ford to ask where my serpentine belt was. They said it was cut off because it was burned (Nothing said to me about that during any phone call or when I picked it up) and that wasn’t included in the 1380 proposal.Unprofessional, unreliable, untrustworthy, there’s more“Un words“ I can think of but I’ll leave it at that. Do not go here for service.

This was the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. I traveled 125 miles over three state lines to buy a specific vehicle and it was well worth it. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. I worked with Terry and he went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and even called to make sure I made it home alright. Trace made sure that my paperwork was a breeze, even being as far away as I was and having to do some via email. Even if you aren’t local, if you’re looking to buy a car, I would recommend.

This review is only for the service department advisors. I have never bought a car here, but I do take my truck here for warranty work.This past week I stood in their office for 20 minutes to get an answer to a simple follow up question on some warranty work they were doing. I was mostly ignored, and ended up leaving without my answer... that is my motivation for writing this review, but I have been disappointed for a while now.The service department rarely seems to have time for me, and they are never informed of the current TSBs or issues with the modern F150s. It would be nice to state my problem, and have someone recognize it. Instead Ive started looking up the Technical Service Bulletins on the internet, and bringing them in. Otherwise they will normally tell me that they have no idea. They could redeem themselves by putting in extra effort to overcome the knowledge gap, but I havent seen that happen very often.Also, one of the service advisors always calls everyone bud. How about sir or maam?This probably sounds like a one star review, but they get 2 stars for having a porter that can give you rides while you drop your car off, and their sales folks seem nice.

Sold a car to this dealership. We arrived around 9AM.I could gather the salesman did not receive commission from us unless he sold us a vehicle...which we were not interested in.He took our info, saw the car, offered us a price. Said it would be awhile for them to cut us a check....OR we could check out his selection of vehicles.We left, ate breakfast, and came back. Salesman was sittin at his desk eating Panera, oh do yall want some Panera?...uh no dude....we want our check! Eating breakfast in front of us was rude, but at least he offered us some I guess. Not to metion this was during the begining of covid times..when masks were required...He sent us to a different location (Castle in Portage, 40 min away) to pick up our check. Said it wouldnt be ready until that evening. We left and went directly to the new location, trying to find our check. When we arrived at the location, no one knew who we were. Ten minutes later, a women who looked in charge apologizes profusely for the wait. we were there maybe ten minutes. She hands us our check and keeps apologizing.So..to the salesman who wanted to make us wait all day for our money for no reason- zero stars.I would suggest going elsewhere.

Milt and the financial portion could not have been easier. Service is very troubling. Two oil changes with grease left on the interior each time. Tire rotation left with incorrect tire pressure. Scheduling is a nightmare. Can’t get in on a timely manner. Had an appointment set three weeks out and showed up for them to tell me they had no idea when they could see me. That was a week ago and still waiting on a call back. Have some cosmetic warranty issues that are still not officially addressed since January. I see some corporate reply’s recommendations include contacting Greg. Greg is not involved with service and told me that he could not help. Is there a corporate office we could contact?Still working on getting Castle to look at our truck. Made an appointment for an appointment for April 19th. Went in and Louis was not in that day. Ashley took pictures of the issues and told me I would hear back in 48 hours. I heard nothing for over a week. When I stopped in to ask, Louis told me a Technician need to look at it and Ashley’s pictures would not work. Now I have another appointment for next Wednesday. This should be funny.Ok. Not sure if anyone is reading these reviews as I see several “canned” responses from other reviewers. Latest on my situation. I blew a fuse 2 months ago and the parts department could not find the part number to order or even quote. After several weekly visits to inquire I was told that they still could not find the fuse. Received a phone call that they found the fuse and they stocked up with three of them. I asked the price and they said $7.49. I told them that was too much for a fuse. Drove to Curry Ford in Valpo. Bought three fuses for $7.00 and took about a minute and a half to get them from the shelf. Castle should not be allowed to service or sell parts.

This is mainly towards the sales manager and Kyle the salesman. I bought a car and is currently waiting on a recall to be addressed before delivering - which I understand (even though its been 2 months) the sales manager seems like hes never there, and Kyle just doesnt seem like he cares. He made his sale and now could care less about myself. The reason for the one star is they never answer, simple! Im trying to get a ahold of them so they can give me my trade in documents as I need them for the bmv! Poor customer service, sad.

TRUST ME, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!My sister bought a 2010 truck from here in February and shes been back about every 8-10 weeks since she bought it. When she first got the truck she had to take it back and replace HER ENTIRE ENGINE! They had her car for like 3 months and tried to make her pay to replace it. She had about 4-5 other things go wrong with the truck and just today she took it back and theyre telling her she has to replace her $1200 radio. She hasnt even had the truck for a year and shes had to have multiple things replaced. Trust me, save yourself the time and money and shop somewhere else.

Recently bought a 2014 F-150 Ecoboost with about 150,000 miles on it from this dealership. On my way back home to Wisconsin I noticed some noises that were not apparent on test drive. On only my third day of ownership it was at the mechanic. Upon first inspection the figured something is wrong with the valve train. I contacted Castle and they agreed to help pay $1000 of the potential bill (this was great that they were willing to do this). So the truck sat at the mechanic for 2 months, once they dug into the issue it turns out there is a second engine in the vehicle that probably was sitting at a junk yard and the gunk coming from it made my mechanic cringe.There is also now something wrong with the transmission. Castle just sold me a vehicle and the whole powertrain seems to be trash. Ive contacted them again after learning about the transmission problems and havent heard back. I cant believe a dealership would sell a vehicle like this for profit. Be careful.

This was my first experience buying a newer vehicle for myself from a big dealer but I have helped others with their vehicle search and have met many dealers over the years. Mr. Mark Dingus was one of the most respectful and professional salesmen that I have ever met. The quality and timeliness of service was fantastic and there was no pressure from any of the staff.
