So, I talked with them on the phone setup an appointment and knew about what the charge would be. We discussed me coming in to the appointment and I would leave to eat lunch or run other errands and picking it back up. All sounds good. Then I get there and the person at the front desk says the only way theyll replace my battery the same day during my appointment time was if I signed up for Asurion Home+ and that would fast track my repairs. Otherwise it would be 2 to 3 days. Really? Why the appointment? I cant say anything about the entire business, but the guy I dealt with is a typical used car salesmen. Beware. I will be contacting the home office over this.

I have had multiple visits with this location because of being clumsy and dropping my phone. I have nothing negative to share. The staff are super chill and also passionate about what they do. Its a great environment and they have also helped me save money as well. They are honest and super helpful. Highly recommend this place.

I had such a great experience with them before but this time is different. I cracked my screen and set up an appointment, for a time between 5 and 7. I sat there waiting for hours after my appointment and nobody showed up. It wasnt until 12:30am where I had got an email saying my appointment was cancelled. We called the next day and they told us it was cancelled bc our parts werent in stock. Thats fine, I get it. I am mostly upset that I was waiting for so long with absolutely no communication. My phone is the only way I can speak to my husband who is gone 5 days a week and I just wish they would have reached out so I knew what was going on. I could have had a back up plan in place.

Roger went above & beyond!! He was extremely patient with me as I had to make calls to both Samsung and Verizon. He explained the screen replacement process and he made the unpleasant issues of dealing with a cracked screen tolerable. Dave, the manager, was also helpful and I definitely recommend this store for service and cases with device guarantee!! Keep up the good work in doing what is right for the customer despite the profit margins!!

Do you not get your phone fixed here or use the store for anything that you need. Here’s my experience so you can take it for what it is but it’s not worth my time to deal with people that are so illiterate.Scheduled to have my screen fixed online. Selected a time slot of 7 to 9 for a technician to arrive at my house. Easy right? The day came for the technician to come. 815 rolls around and I get an email saying my appointments been canceled. No I want arrived or did I hear any communication on why. I contact the store the next day to try to reschedule. The guy said the technician canceled because he said the part wasn’t available but they actually have it in stock so he has no idea why he canceled. He referred me to the customer support number to get the appointment rescheduled in so I didn’t have to pay another $30 deposit to book the appointment. I called customer support all week, waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting but never got through. Finally got through four days later and the agent said hold on a second, put me on hold and then transferred me back to the store. The same gentleman that I spoke to you last time answered and said he has no access to do anything and that only his manager has access. The manager and then get on the line acting like this was completely my fault. Saying he has no control over a technician and what they do. He looked at the notes and said that I am the reason the technician canceled. At this point I could care less about $30. It’s not worth my time. I just wanna get my phone fixed. After the manager having no clue what he’s doing, he said he would check into it and call me back in a couple hours. Well… It’s been two days now and haven’t heard anything. If you’re looking for a store that is unprofessional, takes no ownership then this is the store for you

I recently visited your Miamisburg, Ohio store. I Took my phone in to have a screen replaced.  Showed the phone worked when brought in. Went to pick up the phone the next day. Now the same cracks are in the screen along with new ones on the top.  Glue all over the screen and now the phone doesnt work.When I called, the technician- David got mouthy and told me off, then hung up on me. When I called back they refused to talk to me.I will report this case to the highest level. No company should treat customers like this!!Below is a picture of how they returned the phone to me. When I took it in, there was only a small crack in the bottom left of the gorilla glass, and the device was wiped down and clean. Horrible store and customer service!

My Samsung Note 9 needed a new front glass screen. I met with Mike at the front counter, and he walked me through the process as well as the estimate for the replacement. He and the repair techs took excellent care of me and my phone, getting everything done ahead of schedule. Apparently, all my seemingly dead labtop needed was a power flush, so they diagnosed that and did that, and charged me zero dollars. They could have probably charged me and I wouldnt have been any wiser. To me this shows honesty and integrity and I recommend this business as highly as I can.

Dropped my phone for repair, was overcharged for what I was quoted. When I tried to explain that I was quoted less, the main tech guy basically came out and started being disrespectful saying he doesnt owe us any service and we can just go. I told him that he needs to talk to us calmly, he continued being disrespectful. The manager wasnt around to help and got no help from anyone, really bad experience. Basically was charged +30$, I would recommend ppl to get a written quote from these ppl. I m hoping to get my money back for what I was overcharged and atleast an apology for what we have to go through.

Went in to get phone fixed up since the screen was cracked. I was very impressed with the store and the staff were very kind, very courteous and very professional.Wait time was a bit of a grind but luckily not as long or tedious. Problem was fixed on the same day i brought it in, and thats all i cared about, and saved me a few couple of bucks with the repair. :D

Do NOT get your phone repaired here. I brought in a pristine Samsung phone to have the battery changed out (Ive had it almost 2 yrs and it just wasnt lasting through the day). This phone didnt have a scratch or ding on it and worked perfectly, I just needed a new battery. They told me 2-4 hrs to change. They called a couple of hours later to tell me the damage to your phone was more extensive than we thought, we will need to keep it for 4 days. I asked WHAT DAMAGE? There was nothing wrong with the phone. After talking to a manager they admitted that one of their techs damaged my phone during the battery change. If they are willing to say this about a perfectly good phone, imagine what they are doing to those with actual damage. Youre probably getting charged for things they caused. I use the phone for work and cant be without one so I had to buy a new phone. In the end, they repaired the phone to how it was when I brought it in, but Im out $1300 for a new phone that I shouldnt have had to buy but for their incompetence. Ask the employees where you bought your phone from who they use for repairs, you may pay more than the advertised price of ubreakifix, but in the end you wont get screwed.

I was very happy to be able to use my phone insurance to have the glass fixed on my daughters iphone.. I dropped it off and picked it up a couple hours later. They answered all our questions regarding putting a new protective glass covering on the phone. They also sell phone protectors. I would use them again if needed.

I took a PS3 there to have the Laser replaced, first of all they broke the cover instead of removing the screw on the side of the console first. I picked it up because they couldnt repair the laser or bluray drive. I bought a used bluray drive on Ebay replaced my old drive, the PS3 is now working again, like it was before.

Told them clearly that I would replace the screen only if it covered under manufacturing warranty. They asked me to come the next day even though they have another 4 hrs of time to close the store. I drove back 60 miles and came the next day to collect my phone. They replaced the screen and said its not covered under warranty and I have to pay for this. I asked to give me back the phone as I handed over to them and they took another 2 hrs to re install my original screen. got my phone back and now the phones touch screen is dead. I am not even able to unlock the phone as i am not able to key in my password. before going there at least I can use my phone but now it is in unusable condition.I already wasted my 2 days of weekend driving 100+ miles each day to visit this store and at the end left with unusable phone.Never ever go to this store. No coordination between the front desk guy and the technician.If you ever go to this store, check your device several times before leaving the store. There are all chances that they would have screwed it up.

I took my iPhone XS Max here because the metal tip of the charging cord broke off and became stuck inside the charging port. The Power button on my Pixel 3 became really sensitive and kept turning the phone off or turning the camera on. They said it either needs cleaned or needs a new button which is connected to the screen which is $300! They cleaned it for me and now it works perfect and they didnt charge me a dime! I will definitely return here if I ever need something fixed

My experience with this place was terrible. I had to get my Wifes Pixel 3 repaired, covered under an insurance policy through my credit card. I got no fewer than 5 different price quotes from them, they took over 5 hours to fix it, and when I went to pick it up, they hadnt attached the back properly (to their credit, they fixed that problem); and the cherry on top was that the employee that was helping me refused to wear a mask. Oh, and they have an online tracking system that you can use to track the repair, which sounds great until you find out that this store doesnt update it at all (until its ready for pickup).How did I get 5 quotes you might ask? The first step was getting a price from them, and when I called, they told me $270 (verbally). The insurance company wanted something in writing, so I got them to send a letter, but this time it said $320.99. The insurance wanted it on their diagnostic form, and this time they said it was $309.99 plus tax. My claim was approved and I went in to drop off the phone for repair, and they tried to charge me $375 for the fix! After pointing out their written price, they got the price down to $320.39. Finally, when I picked it up, it *actually* cost $288.89. But they really need to get their act together, that was ridiculous.

Theyre off and on when they want to fix devices. They know the chances of you going somewhere else reliable is slim so they just do whatever. My advice, go to Best Buy. Sure its expensive but at least theyre not wishy-washy like UBreakIFix. Now if you find employees on a good day when they actually feel like doing their jobs..... Its the best most smooth experience out there but unfortunately you have to be real lucky to get the right person at the right time in the right day.

Horrible service, not professional. Will not own up to their mistakes. Took my Apple computer to get a new drive. After fixing my drive they cracked the screen. While picking up my computer I did not notice the crack screen. When confronted they initially refused to do anything about it, they agreed to replace screen and not charge for the labor because it was their fault. The screen in it self is $500 why should I be out of $500 when it was their fault. Well two weeks after their work the entire screen came undone because it was not a quality work when they reinstalled the original screen back. Overall horrible service, they never call you back and will not own up when they mess up.DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT SERVICE YOUR DEVICES HERE.

We dropped off my phone (which had a speaker malfunction) for a diagnostic test. They told us it could take 2 days for the test, which seems ridiculously long, but we waited. When we picked it up after having to call and check on it multiple times, they told us the motherboard was damaged and they couldnt fix it. However, they didnt tell us their test actually caused new damage, ruining the entire screen, to make the whole phone unusable. When we checked it before leaving the store and found out this issue on our own, they told us we agreed to accept data loss - which wasnt the case...we lost the actual phone! Their customer service was horrendous as they argued with us against their own policy on their website, and they offered absolutely no help or consolation for the unacceptable damage their test caused the phone. We took a complaint up with corporate, and the customer service there has been just as bad and unresponsive. Weve spent hours and hours trying to get a return call on our file, but we keep getting told someone will call us back shortly. Ive never experienced customer service as ridiculously awful as this store and the ubreakifix corporate office. Were now out $350 for a phone that was usable before walking into their store.

I will say everyone is nice but beware you may not get back a working device even if it was working perfectly when you took it in.I took my pixel 2xl in for battery replacement since it is supposed to be the authorized google repair center. My phone was in perfect working condition, never had any issues except the battery life was getting worse after 3 years.After replacing the battery, my speakers no longer worked which when I took the phone back they said was a motherboard issue which they couldnt fix. They were helpful though and said they would try something else and reportedly replaced some resistors and got the speaker working again. They handed me the phone and tested the speakers which worked great.I was very pleased until I left and got into my car and noticed that when I pressed the home part of the screen at the bottom a white stripe of dead pixels appeared on the right side of my screen. They were already past closing time so I figure I would come back to resolve it on my next day off. By the next morning, the white stripe was permanently on my screen. When I came back they refused to fix the screen stating that it was fine when they handed me the phone.Obviously the phone had not been adequately tested before I got it back and now they wont fix it, leaving me with having to get a new phone when this one was working perfectly fine prior to them touching it and now has had speaker and screen issues.One of the employees told me when I first had the speaker issue that this is common with Pixel devices to have other things break when you bring them in for repair. If this is a known issue, then that should be covered with a repair. What is the point of going to a repair center to have your phone broken? Shouldnt it be fixed, especially considering its the official google repair provider?They did provide me with a partial refund for labor but obviously this does not come close to making up for having to either pay to replace a screen or simply buy a new phone.I called Google about this and they said I can pay for a screen replacement with them or try to work something else out myself with UbreakIfix. I LOVED my pixel phone but this is just inexcusably horrible customer service! Be aware if you take a device in for service you may have to replace your device or pay more to fix extra things they break when they repair something and Google wont provide any guarantee for their official repair provider services.

Clerk was very rude when I tried to pick up my device. I asked if I was able to pick up my device I dropped off the day before and he only answered with, “ there are people ahead of you so you’ll have to wait”. I asked how long the wait would be and and he said “well there are 3 people ahead of you so there is no way I can answer that”. I explained I was there to pick up which would not entail any time with me, but he wanted to wait on people who had to drop off and go over issues with their devices.He had horrible customer service and was very rude in the way he addressed me.I would not recommend this place if you want a good experience.Update: Went to pick up iPad and it didn’t work. Clerk told me to come back in about 45 min. I did and still waited another 20 for the iPad. When he gave it to me it appeared as though it worked, until I got home and realized the iPad now shuts off every 4-5 min and reboots. All signs point to damage which occurred while replacing the screen. Can’t wait to see how they address this when I go back there for the 5th time in 3 days.Update 2: I dropped off my iPad (again) on 9/3 and was told it would be ready in 48 hours... today is 9/8 and I still don’t have my iPad, nor was there any correspondence from the company. I had to call several times to ask for status updates. They now say a new battery has been installed and they hope that works... I hope so too because this is beyond absurd. Customer service is low and so far quality of work is lower. I will be happy to update with a positive review should this all be fixed when I someday get my iPad back.

Helpful but, with only one register and one customer rep, service is slow. Every time I have been there Ive waited no less that 15 minutes. Service has been sufficient though.*edited to change review - we have taken 4 phones in 2 different times. We have had trouble every time. Either the phone was factory reset without our consent or unable to be fixed (but we were not told that at the outset). Both times they said the phone would be ready in 4 hours and we drove 30 minutes each way to find the it would be the next day before it was ready. Would not recommend or use again.

My daughter brought her Lenovo laptop in to have the hinge repaired. After waiting for 25 minutes outside (with 4 other customers), she finally got in. The technician at the counter immediately - without listening to my daughter - forcibly oped and closed the screen causing an immediate large crack in the glass that was not there before. When she pointed this out, he said the screen would have to be replaced anyway. He then spent 10 minutes trying to sell her on the Asurion Home Plan (which no one should want.) The entire time she was in the store, the technician did not wear his Covid mask. It hung limply around his neck providing no protection for him or his customers at all. When challenged about this, he said he had throat cancer and could not breath with a mask on. If this is the case, he should not be engaged in retail and should move himself to phone support instead. We left the store with a computer that was broken worse than when we walked in, no idea at all about how to fix it or how much it would cost in time or money, and possibly with Covid germs. I will NEVER set foot in one of these stores again!

I bought my first ever laptop from Best Buy on 12/30/19 and....surprise...the little F1 key popped off. I took it to Best Buy, and they wanted to ship it to HP! They told me to come to uBreakiFix. Now, even though they couldnt get the little key on and it isnt a big deal since I can still use that key, they said that they could get the info and order a new keyboard and replace it there. I am definitely keeping them in mind for repairs; I didnt think it would be worth the expense for a small key at this point..and they were honest about it!

I took my old Xbox 360 console in for a simple disc drive replacement. The time to order a disc drive was 3-5 days, so I was told about the same amount of time for the fix.After 4 days, I receive a call saying that the working power cable that i had brought in wouldn’t let the console turn on. The next day, an update comes out that the cable is actually working and they are finally checking to see the problem. Turns out they had never ordered the disc drive until confirming the issue, so this delays the repair further.I call the next week and I am told it hasn’t been fixed yet but it should be done the next day. They claim to have fixed it the next day, but request I bring in a game to test. Turns out the repair was done incorrectly and the console still is not working properly. I wait 3 more days until picking it up again making this a total of a 2& 1/2 week job to swap a singular component. When I picked up the Xbox the stickers that tracked ownership of my remotes and power cord had been removed adding to the confusion.Not only did this feel like a waste of my time and money having them fix it. Since picking up the console it has shown issues that suggest the rewriting of the drive was still done incorrectly. I would not recommend this place to anyone that needs a gaming system repaired.

My daughter had her phone crushed on accident. The front and back glass where shattered. UBreakIfix did a great job of replacing both sides for a reasonable price. Once the part was ordered and received, the repair only took a few hours.

They guys at the store were really nice and helpful. I chatted on the phone before making the 45 minute drive to the store. Totally worth it. The repair was completed in the time frame they gave me and everything went super smoothly.

If 0 stars was an option, that’s what I’d pick. I brought these guys my laptop for a diagnostic and they took almost two weeks just to get back to me about what’s wrong with my laptop! I called them and the manager said he’d call me back later that day, seemed kind. Didn’t call.The next day I call them again and they tell me what’s wrong with my laptop and the options to fix it, I chose “option B” and they again ignored me for an extended period of time.I went to the store to get my laptop before they even got the part for it because frankly every employee I spoke to that works for this store (7 employees to be exact) is an incompetent human that should be no where near a computer. Not to mention, when I went to get my laptop from them, they gave it to me open without any of the screws. Again, incompetent.This review would have a lot of angry swears if I could.
