Good records. Nice atmosphere, stylish place. Friendly and nice staff. You can listen all the records right there before purchasing.

I bought a record there and unfortunately when I got home and opened it, it was missing one of the discs. I don’t live in Miami, so when I called and let them know it was missing a disc, they immediately sent me a new one and it got here in 2 days. The nicest people with a wonderful selection! Next time I go back to Miami I will definitely be visiting this store again :)

First record store Ive ever been to. I loved it, although I couldnt stay as long as I would have liked. I cant wait to visit again and get to know the place better.

Really enjoyed our time here. the couple staff were quite knowledgeable, and they were still adhering to person limits inside the store, which was nice.decent selection of new and old, genre to genre. prices were about on par with other locations. helpful to try to find and/or order anything that they don’t have or don’t have right now.they also have a nice loyalty program of 12x $15 records will get you a free $20.will be back to continue our collection.

Funky record spot. Cashier was very kind and let us in early to save us from the sudden downpour. We had stopped by to see what was left over from Record Day, will return again when we come back for vacation.

It’s a small record store due to pandemic only 5 customers are allowed at a time, don’t let that dissuade you it’s worth the wait. I found their selection to meet both my daughter’s (15 yr. old) taste and my taste as well. The staff is chilled and very helpful. Found some hard to find new pressings. I like to support local record stores, been going to Yesterday and Today as well when it was In South Miami since the 80s and latest location as well. Sweat records have a selection of used vinyl and CDs as well. You can order online and do curbside pick up as well. If you’re local and you buy enough records they do offer perks as well.

Great variety of new and used records, especially from the International genre. The staff is also accommodating and willing to answer any questions.

Sweat Records is the best! Owner and staff are awesome, super helpful, never pretentious, always working to build an inclusive local scene. And the Sweat Records website is great! Do not give Bezos your money; Sweat ships vinyl to family and friends everywhere. When theres not a global pandemic, they have great events, usually all-ages. Or you can catch a drink and a show nextdoor at Churchills after youre done shopping. Ive visited the shop a few times during the pandemic to pick up records ordered through the website, and their in-person safety protocols are top notch. I cant wait to be able to visit more often and for longer! Miami is lucky to have this gem of a record store.

Sweat Records has been one of my favorite places in Miami since I moved here 8 years ago. The staff is super cool and down to earth. Loved seeing bands there pre-covid(hopefully that happens again when it’s safe), and the selection is great.

I made a purchase, because they do have good prices and selection, and they had a couple records I really wanted, however, me and my girlfriend were treated rudely by one of the staff, and its not likely we will return.

Every record shop should be like sweat. Good amount of used stuff that isnt just bargain bin. Such a wide variety. Came away with a shirt and a hat with the stores logo because I liked the vibe so much! Truly a great stop.

Best record store in Miami!!! One of my favorite places in the whole world! I can spend hours in this place. The amount of new staff on vinyl is amazing, also a good place to look for local bands records. And the coffee they serve is very good! Record Store Day here is an event you must attend!

Great vinyl selection. The parking is not great but hey, its in Miami. Its just the way it goes. The staff is helpful and they do have events. Its next to Churchill so if you are up to date on your tetanus and rabies vaccinations head on over.

I have finally sat down and written my long awaited review on this hidden gem of a place! I managed to visit during Art Basel. Located right next door to Churchills on NE 2nd Ave, I was kind of hesitant entering with my boxer bulldog, but was welcomed by the gentleman behind the counter and was actually told that dogs were welcomed more than humans! OMG! Nothing in the world can beat a record shop that serves delicious organic coffee, sells vintage records, sometimes hosts awesome shows, and they welcome dogs?? Are you kidding me? What a CHILL VIBE!!I browsed through some of the records, and noticed that they were priced to how well they were preserved or kept. I was impressed with how they were indexed, sorted and stored, and I was more impressed with their overall selection. I will definitely be back.

I sold my collection of circa 1970s progressive albums to them fir a fair price.

One of Miamis gems. Sweat Records not only has an amazing selection of records, but their staff CARES about your hunt for the rare finds. They are knowledgeable and friendly and they have amazing events here that benefit the community. I highly recommend them and encourage people to follow them on social media to keep up with all the instore events that they do. From shows, to giveaways, Sweat Records has its finger on the pulse of the music scene in Miami. You never know who you will meet there. I met Iggy Pop there! I look forward to all that they have coming up in the next year. Kudos to owner Lolo for always doing right by the Miami music scene.

Great selection, and a wonderful staff! Had a manufacturer issue with a record and they kindly accommodated me with zero hassle. Its a welcoming, flexible atmosphere; you can keep your nose in the racks or spark up a convo w/ the staff and other willing extroverts. Highly recommended!

Amazingly versatile independent record store with a lot of character. They have all genres you could imagine. A true vinyl-lovers heaven. They have events and concerts on their small stage at the back, also.

WOAHHH So cool to find one of these in a random-ass part of Miami! Its small but has an eclectic mix of music. I also appreciate that they sold other goodies there, too - such as coffee and incense to enhance the music-listening experience. Parking is a little unclear...it seemed like the random, unmarked lot next to it was okay for parking.

Good place if you like metal or mud hippie music and dont mind paying $30 for an album. Some people buy vinyl bc they like the music, others buy vinyl so they can tell people they bought vinyl. Sweat records is for the latter.

Finally found a decent record shop in Miami. This rad little spot doesnt have the biggest selection of vinyl, but I did find a few good deals while browsing the stacks. Also, they have some nice vegan options for purchase - cookies, lip balm (Hurraw), etc. Very cool. Will definitely be back.

Vinyl records-12singles and albums. Sometimes an obscure title can be found here. Brings back memories of a time before digital downloads. Not too many of these stores remaining.

Excellent record shop! As a DJ Who loves to spin vinyl, and shipping overseas is expensive, these guys have a nice selection in Jungle, Ragga, Dubstep, Techno and Drum n Bass! If thats not your thing they have some ILL Rock, hip hop and anything you can think of! Will be coming back soon!
