Nice store and staff but the worst imaginable delivery service. Completely disorganized, poorly run and ineffective. My delivery ultimately never came through and required cancellation after weeks of waiting and hours lost with customer service.

Love West Elm, Ive spent good money here but I have to say that after multiple occasions and trips to this store, I find the staff to be quite uninterested in helping or even greeting customers.Aside from a few very kind people who work there like Ann, Ive literally been ignored by employees while shopping there. Im not sure if its West Elm culture thing because I also experienced this at the Gulf Stream location.Great products, not the best customer service.

Do not shop here. I received a defective product and had to spend 2 hours to schedule a pickup and cancellation because they wouldn’t send me a replacement to my house - but instead said I would have to go back to the store to pick up the replacement. So I had to do extra for their mistake! Crazy to spend $700 on a coffee table to just receive something defective and then have West Elm put zero effort into fixing the situation. I am sticking with other stores. Not worth the $$$ given the poor customer service and that we received a defective product.

Neat store with bedding, glassware, etc. For the home. I went looking for a desk for my law studies and was disappointed they only had about 3 options (one being a glass desk where the floor model was already lightly scratched). However, all other house goods looked durable.

Small store with repetitive decor at an unreasonable high price. Disinterested employees dont even bother greeting or helping. In a time of coronavirus, people lounging on the furniture with masks half on half off..Nobody says anything or does anything, why would anyone shop here?

This brand is great, they are part of the pottery barn family but focused on mid century modern and contemporary furniture and decor. Quality is good, design is excellent, great selection, prices are reasonable especially when they have sales, upholstered furniture can be customized by selecting fabrics, very nice selection of fabrics too. I love it, owned several pieces already. Thank you

My experience with West Elm has been the worst ever, Ive usually dont wasted my time writing reviews since I understand theres bad days everywhere and not just because it happens to me will be the same experience to others. I loved this place, the furniture is always exactly what Im looking for, however as the big company they are, they should improve A LOT on their customer service,  very rude and poor service. Ive been waiting more than 2 months for my furniture (Due to the pandemic which I completely understand) but when I was purchasing my products I was told it should be ready for the end of December which it didnt happen. I called several times to get some updates and for my surprise there was no order ready to ship yet, I tried to cancel and the answer was it was impossible to cancel my order. I went to the physical store and apparently there was nothing I could do other than waiting for the items to be ready someday because they dont have any kind of information from the headquarters, I completely agreed and asked for some assistance and they told me the same, cancel was not an option for me. A few days after, an agent called me telling me I shall be getting my furniture by February, I tracked my order and it said it was ready to be shipped today 02/02/2021 and when I called to verify this information they told me it was a mistake that my order was cancelled. This is absolutely unprofessional, they dont even know how to handle the situation with an unhappy customer, worst experience ever. they should have told the truth from the beginning, that my order will be arriving in 5 months if it was the case but they would rather lie. Go somewhere else, where you can be treat and serve like you deserve.

My wife convinced me and a couple of friends to walkover to this place to look at couches. The store is nice and the decorations are pretty but the couches were uncomfortable. Definitely made more for the looks than with the average 6 foot 220 pound man in mind. Couches have no back support and are not comfortable. Not worth the price tags either. For the rest of the stuff, the store is great.

We went to a few furniture stores and this was our favorite within our price range. I believe this place is still a bit pricey for what they have to offer, but overall good style.The people who work there are very helpful.The shipment took about a week or so for what they had in stock. Two of our chairs were custom with the leather we wanted, and that took five months to make and ship to our apartment. They made us aware at the time of purchase how long everything will take.Overall good store and purchase.

Not very happy with this place. The person who answered was super rude when I called to pick up my curbside order. When the store finally answered the phone, the woman on the phone instructed me to ring the bell. When I told her their email says to call the store and have ID ready. The customer service person kept talking over me when I told her I had a newborn on the car and couldn’t leave to ring the bell even though that was not the process. I’m very disappointed with this specific West elm.

Its 2020. I shop online. Its bad news bears for me to shop in store because I see nice and shiny things and I have to have them. So, safer to shop online and wait for the delivery like its Christmas! Well, having just moved to Miami, we bought majority of our furniture from west elm - the experience with online has been abysmal. Delays upon delays, missing or damaged items upon arrival, you name it. Customer service people are SO friendly but west elms policies are unbelievably inflexible and not customer-friendly. You received a damaged item? Too bad. You placed separate orders and paid two flat rate shipping fees and want to combine the items that have not yet shipped? No way. Its always no no no with these people, but again, the customer service agents, despite being tied down to insane rules - have always been wonderful humans, and I can appreciate that. So recently I received a contract grade bed that does not feel like it - its creaky, looks cheap, and oh, its creaky. Who wants that for a brand new & pricey bed? Not me. So I went into the store to try the new bed I liked online to make sure it was sturdy and soundless. Tshari, who listened to me vent about my experience, was absolutely amazing. She was so empathetic, went above and beyond to help me, and truly brightened my day. I cant thank her enough for being a kind soul and for being dedicated to making sure I walked out of there a happy camper. We need more people like Tshari in this world. Thank you, Tshari!!

Its always fun walking around at west elm. They have so many interesting things to see. Staff are always helpful. Midtown is a great location because theres a lot to see after walking around inside the store. Like the Brito art installations just outside.

I had no big expectations of this west elm. previous experiences were not so good, yet yesterday i had the most helpful, knowledgeable and giving associate at this store help make my wish come true. she helped me out of her way, because i dont think she made any commission on it since she helped me order my item with another west elm store. But she was so caring and sweet in her interaction with me i must give her 5 stars for she went above and beyond. her name is Tashari. Thank you so much!

I advise to not order any furniture from West Elm. I have purchased my first home and what should be an exciting experience has turned into a nightmare because of West Elm. After waiting over a month for my couch to be delivered, I receive the couch damaged. The damaged part of the couch cannot even be scheduled to be replaced until 2 weeks from now. I have also been waiting for a bed frame that came incomplete and now is on back order for the next 3 1/2 months! So not only is my couch deformed but I am forced to sleep on the floor for a few more months if I intend to keep stick with this piece of furniture that I paid $1000 for. Thank you West Elm for ruining my experience as a first time home owner.

After hearing good things, I was not impressed at all with my first purchase at West Elm. I was there with small children and there was no one around to help us. I had to enter my order into the computer myself several times and the computer kept locking up and giving me errors. Finally about 45 minutes into it, a nice salesperson finally intervened to help but had to call the IT department to get my order to process. Another 25 minutes later I was on my way.What disappointed me the most was the West Elm marketing tactics. I received a coupon for 20% off, so I went in to order a large number of different pieces. According to the check out script, most of the items were already supposedly marked down and my coupon did not apply for most of my order.Then there is their white glove and outrageous shipping charges. There is no way to not get the white glove charges off my order or simply pick up everything and save freight.In the future I would suggest just ordering from Wayfair. Many of the items I ordered were not in the West Elm store anyway so basically I went into the store, paid for parking, used their computer to buy items that I could not put my hands on anyway.

The only thing that I didnt like is that you have to make sure you check online before you buy anything in the store, the have a lot better sales on their webpage than they do in the store. Sometimes if you show them the price from their website they will match it in the store.
