The service was quick and I have not had any problems.

First, we were forced to leave our car at the facility all day. They do not have a system for making appointments or could not make an appointment for some reason. As a result, we have to spend an entire day with out a vehicle and juggle to the logistics of getting the car to the shop. Next, we were told that we could drop our car off and leave the keys in the drop box. Because we work very early, we attempted to drop the car off the night before. We drove 20 MILES each way to find out that they DO NOT HAVE A DROP BOX. So in the morning we have to drive back with two vehicles, drop the car and keys off, and wait all day for our window to be replaced. I guess the We come to YOU commercials are just a hoax they use to attract customer. Perhaps I should leave them a bill for MY TIME and mileage. They certainly charge for theirs.

I had my windshield replaced a few weeks ago. Arturo, the mobile technician that worked on my truck, left strings and blobs of black sealant on the A Pillars of my truck. There is a 4 ft long piece of rubber roof molding missing from my truck, and the cover for the rearview mirror cable is gone. This is a horrific job. For $300, they should have taken the time to do this right. Hopefully they will get this taken care of immediately.

Windshield replaced there at 4pm on Dec. 28, 2019. Work was done very fast, but not done properly. The technician Efrain left Clips in front of windshield out and didn’t put them back to their holes. He also left small pieces of dust into passenger side windshield washer nozzle. I went there to ask them to fix these issues in the early morning on next Monday. I left my car there the whole day. They sent messages to me through email and also called me saying all issues were fixed. My wife went there to pick up my car but found nothing was done actually. I hope they can really provide us the real warranties. Because the nozzle was clogged, so the pressure inside the tube is higher than normal. The driver side nozzle inside the hood is leaking when using, and it is just located upside of the engine. They told me that it won’t damage the engine. They also told my wife that because the inside of the hood is too dirty which caused the outside nozzle clogged (this is really a good joke). On Jan. 1st, 2020, I checked my windshield trims and clips. The technician Efrain destroyed two clips. He also caused the cover in front of the windshield curved which cannot cover the windshield very tightly (actually he didn’t install the rubber set back to my car). When I found the possible problems on December 28th, 2019, he just told me that if he redo the Garnish assembly, it may mess his work (maybe he just wanted to cover the truth that he has already messed the Garnish assembly both sides on the windshield). On Jan. 1st, 2020, I found that he just used the glue to make the Garnish assembly both sides stick to the windshield. I have to spend 50 dollars more to repair those part myself right now. I don’t recommend people to go there. On January 2nd, 2020, I found that some of my front windshield parts lost there, such as the rubber set (04731-S5W-J10).

Took my new car to have windshield replaced after a rock chipped it, this is where my insurance and dealer suggested. Everyone was nice and all seemed to be going well till after 3 hours the Manager asked me to come to the bay and explained that the service technician did not check the windshield before removing to make sure the right one was pulled. It was the wrong windshield so all of my lane departure and other electronics could not be hooked back up. I was given the excuse that the technician got distracted helping out another technician on his care which was little consolation. So I had to drive out with wrong windshield and have to keep it for 10 days so the glue can settle and bring it back again for another 3 hours in 10 days. Poor service and loss of time.

After scheduling an appointment last week, I received confirmation that my windshield was ordered and was at the Mesquite location. I dropped my car this morning at 9:00AM and took an UBER to work. I then received a phone call at 3:00PM stating that they had ordered the wrong windshield and it would take another week to get the correct one. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! For as much money and time as they spend in TV advertising you would think a company of this size would be able to expedite something to help resolve the issue. Mistakes happen, but how we resolve these mistakes is what makes all the difference. Disappointed and I hope I don’t have to use Safelite ever again. And will certainly not recommend them.

I have had 2 windshields replaced in the last 3 years with issues both times. First (2019) installer somehow damaged the temp sensor on factory glass, replacement cost at dealer was about $375. Second (March 2021), had windshield replaced on my Durango, glass arrived scratched (and they gave me a small discount). No problem until I noticed the incredible new wind noise coming from top of the new windshield, really annoying. I bought their wipers, new windshield, new wipers, right? One keeps falling off, when I use the wipers...just junk, has no latch to keep it on.

The windshield installed was perfect, however, when I went to pick up my car, there was trash and dust everywhere inside. When I got home, I noticed the plastic around my mirror was broken and glue was running down the glass. Sloppy workmanship but hopefully they addressed it with the technician when I called, and it wont happen to anyone else.

It was rather alarming to be driving down the road and a piece of windshield trim begins flapping in the wind. Thankfully I was able to pull over and secure it temporarily. I am having to schedule another appointment for someone to come out and resolve this.3/23/19Quick and professional service. They had drinks and entertainment for guests in the waiting area.My only complaint is how much debris was leftover on the inside of my van after the windshield was replaced. I understand they were short handed and had an abundance of jobs queued up, but getting into my vehicle and sitting on hard plastic shards was not fun.

I have been trying to get a hold of someone, but have been unable to speak with anyone about a chip repair. I ended up going with a different company.

If you have a warranty on your windows they will come up with every reason in the world not to replace it

I had my truck in to have the driver window replaced after it was broken into one night. I get home with the vehicle to find that on top of a whistling sound next to top right of window, the doors also will not lock at all. I tried to make things right after being burgled and am left with my car being in an even worse condition. Now on a Saturday morning when the shop is open, I cannot get into touch with anyone to explain what’s going on. Is this the quality of service one can expect with Safelite?EDIT: Safelite reached out to me on Monday to schedule a second look to fix the problem, due to extreme weather it had to be rescheduled a couple of times, but eventually I was able to have the truck looked at and diagnosed. The problem compounded with the weather to corrode a cable, the fault did not lie with Safelite and they kindly explained what needed to be done to fix it. Changing the review to 3 stars because it was still very difficult to get into contact with anyone and I had to spend 4 hours over two days waiting for the work to be done.

They will rip your windshield wiper blades just so u can buy a new one from them not honest people dont go there

I scheduled for a technician to come to my house. We both walked the car and he took pictures. When he attempted to do the job, but stopped at some point because he cracked my sunroof panel. I have video of him freaking out and cursing because he knew he messed up. He then explained that I have to go to the shop because he was not experienced enough to handle the job. When I left to go to their shop, I saw the panel was cracked. I went to Mesquite for them to replace the windshield and then spent 2 hours showing video to the manager of their tech freaking out after noticing the damaged. Video of the tech pulling and yanking on the windshield. Video of the tech spending several minutes with a flashlight inside my car inspecting the sunroof. They still deny anything happened. I specifically asked if their policy is to notify of any prior damage or to notify customers about damage, manager says no, corporate says yes I have submitted videos to their corporate office and filing a police report for damages. Upon reviewing my Ring videos, you can see the tech enter my car with a prying tool and reaching up where the crack is, and I found multiple prying marks where the trim for the sunroof meets the upper windshield. I now forsee to much time spent providing they damaged my sunroof. Safelite damages, safelite dont replace should be the new jingle. You can clearly see the difference in color and shape of the trim right where the crack is

To be honest, I had a small spider crack in my windshield I mainly wanted fixed so it would not be visible. First thing they tell me is it will likely still be visible, but theyll try to minimize it. In the end $128 later, the crack looks the same as it did when I came in. Honestly not sure I shouldnt have taken my chances leaving it be and saved the money. Service otherwise was pleasant and professional.

I was double charged for my service, but that is not my issue as they were having problems with their system the day I was there. The reason for the one star is that I have not been able to get in touch with a live person to resolve the matter-- Ive called numerous different numbers without success. Finally settled for an email to the customer service department, but no response. Very disappointed as Ive always had excellent service in the past...UPDATE: Safelite reached out to correct the double charge. Im changing my review to a 4 star.

The older man just gave me knowledge on why and how they changed the glass. The ladies up front, especially the one with the black mask took care of me and even let me eat lunch in break room instead of in front of guest. Best experience.

We had a rock hit our new Palisade. We contacted Safelite AutoGlass and all they were extremely helpful in guiding us through the process of getting a new windshield. Efrain our service tech arrived at our residence as scheduled and did an excellent job on the installation. All cameras worked like factory installed. We would strongly recommend Safelite for any auto glass repairs.

Have had 2 windshields replaced this year. These guys did great both times. Came to me at work and car was ready to go by the end of my work day.

Had to go in for a small rock chip. Unfortunately, it could not be repaired because it was too close to the edge, but Safelite put some resin in the chip at no cost, so it wouldnt spread. Much appreciated.

I went there yesterday for a small chip repair and I left with 9 in crack windshield thanks to this guys.I will not recommend to nobody,I think was better buying a kit from Walmart and fixing myself .I will never comeback there.

I really wanted to give Safelite a 5 star because they are nice and friendly. But, I still have a problem with the new windshield. It is very annoying giving a lane departure even with the system turned off. I think theyre still waiting for some kind of approval to replace it with a Honda made windshield to see if the recalibration will work better. I will write another review later.

Unfortunately, you cant speak to a human for a question, quote or schedule. It must all be done online. Thats disappointing. Oh, and when I did file for a quote online for ONE SMALL CRACK to be filled, it was quoted at $129.99. Outrageous.

Unfortunately I had to have my car window replaced right before the holidays, and in the holiday rush Ive forgotten the name of the man who actually replaced my window. He was extremely professional though, I wasnt kept waiting, the process was speedy and rather inexpensive, and he also was courteous enough to vacuum my car as well after the fact. I was also informed that the window has a lifetime guarantee should it stop working or anything to that effect. If I had to go, I couldnt have gone to a better place. I definitely recommend this company to anyone needing such services.

Massively overpriced

Technician showed up with the wrong windshield and told me he was going to go back to the warehouse and see if they had the right one. He never called me back and apparently he wrote on his job notes that I was the one who cancelled the appointment. From what I read here they are known to reschedule for no reason.

They were fast and everyone was very nice. I will definitely send all my family and friends to you guys. Thank you for helping.

I have a 2020 Alfa Romeo and I just got back from a road trip and had a pretty bad chip on my front windshield. They looked at it and first thought it would need to be fully replaced which is COSTLY. I naturally became disappointed and a helpful man came out and said he would just try and see what happens. WELL not only is it not noticeable anymore but he was very helpful at explaining what I should do in the event I would have this problem again. My windshield was fixed in about 20-30 min. He kept coming in to inform me of the status and how great it was looking! The lady at the front was extremely helpful as well and gave me costs in the event it would not be fixable and helped me with the current cost if they were able to fix it and Matthew checked me out when it was all done and looking great and I appreciate his customer service skills as well. Overall great experience and I highly recommend coming here even if it’s not likely fixable you never know because in my case they saved the day and prevented me from paying about 2k out of pocket! Can’t thank them enough!

I have had to replace my drivers side window twice and my windshield twice. The second time was to fix what the discount installation did poorly. The Safelite repairs were great. So long as there are thieves and poor qualify repairmen, Safelite will have plenty of business. This location was clean and a good variety of coffees to sample while you wait.

This company lacks internal communication! We called to have our vehicle glass replaced on Monday. Their call center was rude. At one point I asked her if I needed to call back because she was having a bad day. Customer service needs improvement. She tried to convince me not to make the appointment. She finally set our appointment on Friday. BUT, she said they would have to order the part. I said that is fine. Come Friday, they called to confirm the appointment one hour before the appointment, I confirmed it nevertheless. Then not 3 mins go by and they call me back. She said there is a missing a part to the glass and we will not get it until next week. I said, you forgot to order the glass and she said Yeah, we forgot to order the part. I appreciate her honestly, but I am out of my car for a another week. If anyone has additional recommendations to replace our vehicle back window, please let me know. This company is not about customer service .

I have had windshields replaced on several personal vehicles in the last 30 years I have used Safelite for my last few replacements and they have provided the best service ever. I had just bought a brand new 2016 Equinox less than 10 weeks ago and the windshield was hit by road debris that cause a crack that started halfway up the windshield from the driver side edge that spread across more than half windshield right in front of the driver side view, so it had to be replaced. Technician George Bruce made having the replacement of a windshield so soon a pleasant and satisfying experience. Since I was having the replacement done at my house, he communicated frequently to notify me of his status on when he would arrive. I was very satisfied with Georges quality of service, knowledge, courteous and friendliness. If you ever need a windshield replace or repaired ask for George, hell do you right!!.

Installed the wrong type of glass on my back window, despite me bringing the vehicle in and having them confirm the correct glass was ordered. Now my back window has the defrost lines across the back. Customer service has been awful to deal with which is where I tried several times before coming here. 2 stars because they were the cheaper option but I guess you get what you pay for.

Went in for windshield replacement, they recommended repairing the windshield instead of replacing. I was unsure so they repaired it first to let me see the result, looked way better and saved me $300. Fast, friendly, honest service!

These folks allowed a carmax employee try to steal my vehicle. I did buy my jeep from carmax and I paid through my own finance company. I went in through the carmax guarentee but was awe struck when a carmax employee tried to pull my keys from my hand when leaving... dont ever use them if you purchased through carmax....

This is the second time I have used Safelite Autoglass and both times Ive gotten the same Tech guy, Darren. He is amazing, fast and knowledgeable. If I have to use them again, I will be asking for Darren!!!! Give him a raise.

Its not good, the price and repairs so bad

I had my new car 3 wks when a rock hit the windshield damaging it to the point of needing a replacement. It was easy online to identify which type of windshield I needed to have ordered for my vehicle, and George was absolutely wonderful. They have a team of people who are so skilled at this, and theyre very kind too.

Fast service. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Staff was friendly and called me to rescedule to an earlier time due to a cancellation they had.

I would have rated them a five but the front girl never smile when I got there, she seem like she just didnt want to be there is the expression that I got. BUT the tech did a wonderful job getting my windshield done without having to replace it! Very friendly!

I was able to make my appointment with Safelite over the internet and for the same day. I arrived to Safelite and they quickly started working on my car. I think the whole process took 30 minutes. They cleaned the interior of my car and the work they did was great - you can barely see where the crack was on my windshield. The technician also came over and explained the risk with using their machine (the windshield could end up cracking more) and was very friendly. This isnt my first time using Safelite and it wont be my last.

My car was broken into on a Sunday night. By Monday afternoon Safelite had fixed my window and vacuumed out all the broken glass from my car. I really appreciated the great service and the kind touch of cleaning up the shattered glass. Thank you guys!

On Saturday, 08/18, I got my Mini Clubman windshield replaced by Safelite. The whole process was a piece of cake. My dealership was going to charge $700-800 for the replacement and Safelite was so much less at $445. My appointment was at 9 am and I was out of there at 10:30 am. Matthew was the service tech I worked with today. He explained the steps that were needed to remove and replace my windshield. Matthew did a pretty darn good job. He was friendly and nice during the entire process. I would recommend Safelite to anyone, especially Matthew (blond guy with shaggy hair, a beard, and small ear gauges) at the Mesquite location.
