If it were possible I would give Mesa Auto Works a 10 star rating. I found them by asking local people for refererance to a reliable, knowledgeable auto repair shop that would not overcharge. The technicians were skilled, professional and prompt. The owner, Stan, was very honest with me and reasonably priced for the work. It is an extremely clean shop with great equipment. They are now my shop of choice.

This is my first visit there. They were recommended to me by a friend. Staff was very polite and service was done on time. They didnt try to up sell me any thing. I recommend them.

I’ve never had an experience with a mechanic like at Mesa Auto Works! I feel like the automotive mechanic industry has a bad reputation because it is riddled with individuals who prey on consumers who have little to no knowledge of what it takes to fix their vehicle. Fortunately I experienced exactly the opposite here. I came to Mesa Auto Works with the expectation to spend a lot of money to fix what I thought was something seriously wrong with my SUV. To my surprise Stanley informed me that all my vehicle needed was a simple tire rotation to fix what felt and sounded like an earthquake of a wobble coming from underneath my SUV. The honesty and integrity of everyone at Mesa Auto Works is why I will always return when need be.

Rob from Robs Autobody referred me to Stan at Mesa Auto Works for an oil leak.I was afraid to find out what was wrong.Rob said Mesa Auto Works does excellent work and they are honest.I was very pleased dealing with Stan at Mesa Auto Works. They were honest and confirmed the previous company did not complete my oil change properly.The repair ended up only being an oil change.Theres dampness at the transmission axel. There was no active leak.Instead of over charging and fixing parts that werent necessary at this time, Stan said it was fine. I took my Jeep here because of an issue with my A/C and heater. The checked it out found out that the fix was simple. Fixed it and only charged me for the labor and the part. Most other places would have charged me the diagnostic fee as well.These guys earned my trust and I will be back.

Took Volvo s60 in due to power steering leak. Fixed, fair price, professional. I ended up having them do scheduled maintenance as I was impressed. Highly recommend!

I spoke to Stan who was very nice. He set up the appointment to check the problem with my 2008 Camry. He diagnosed and repaired my car at a very reasonable price! I was very pleased with the way I was kept up to date on what the main problem was & the repairs it needed! I used to take my car to another mechanic for years who recently told me to take my car to Toyota. I decided I would give Mesa Auto Works a try, and they were awesome!! Thank you so much guys!! I needed a tire alignment and my car was chattering badly when I braked. They called me and explained the problem and now my car drives like new. Mesa auto works is a great find in the valley. They remind me of a old fashion family establishment that is in business to do their best for their community. Ive gotten fantastic service, promptness, as well as fair prices every time I take my car there for service. You find a better repair shop in Phoenix. I feel blessed to have them to service my vehicle.

If you have a Volvo 240, live in the Phoenix area and need service and you dont go here, you are making a big mistake. I was in a real jam and blew some engine seals right before leaving on a long road trip before a holiday. Not only did they fit me in the day I called but checked out my car, ordered parts and got me on the road that same day. I cant begin to explain the professionalism these guys have. Stand up shop, dont go anywhere else.

I called and asked if they can fix a blinker, fully expecting to pay for the service. They told me to come in which took a total of 5 minutes and they didn’t charge me a dime! So helpful!

Helped me with an issue on my car and refused to take a dime! They could’ve easily soaked me for $$ and didn’t. Don’t believe all the horror stories, there are good honest shops out there. I just found one!

Courteous, patient, and responsiveMy repair needs were relatively minor, but when I called MMW and spoke to Stan, he listened carefully and was patient as I explained the issue I was having with my minivan. After diagnosing my van, it was determined that I needed a battery after all and I was given a call back to that effect with a quote for a new battery and labor. I was told I would need an AGM battery and that they tend to be very expensive. It was satisfying to have my suspicions validated and the pricing was no surprise. I got my van back the next day. I will be using MMW for whatever service I will need next and hopefully we can setup a maintenance routine to keep my repair cost as low as possible and the van ready for any occasion. I sense I can trust them to do the right work for the right price. MMW was refereed to my by one of my friends.

Mesa Auto Works is awesome!!! All of the employees always go above and beyond my expectations every time I have brought one of my vehicles in. Shoot! I sometimes I feel like Im in a car dealership cause all of the employees are always smiling and offering me a bottle of water. Honest great service

I went in for a oil change and when they had my truck up on a rack the tech that was doing my oil change notice that my front left tire had a bid bubble in it. I had no idea never notice it wile driving I am just glad he notice it because I was going to be leaving for a camping trip . So they took it off after showing me and Stan personally took me to a tire shop and waited with me to get my new tire put on I would recommend this shop to further friends and family most shops would just drop the truck off the rack and say get it fixed.

I have had several opportunities to use Mesa Autoworks. They do excellent work. I chose them on a recommendation from a friend, What a treat to find auto service you can trust to do the work and not force additional things that are not necessary on you. You will get a complete inspection with suggestions for future maintenance but not be held hostage to do work you do not need.They will do my work on my BMW and Nissan from here on.Dave W

Excellent service. 1997 F150 did a repair and it didnt fix the problem - engine light coming on. Took it back & they figured out the issue. did the second repair no charge only paid for the part. Also on my 2004 Honda civic -battery light came on & wouldnt start. they checked it out for no charge. Was not a dead battery.

Terrible experience with this place. Do not take your car There and you are better off looking for a different place. Over a 2 years period I had 3 very bad experiences with them. I gave them benefit of the doubt initially but then realized that those guys are crooks and do not know anything about cars. First bad experience was about a simple oil change. They did not have the oil filter properly in place when they did the oil change and when I brought the car back home, it kept dripping oil all over my garage floor making a big mess. I disregarded that and thought it was an innocent mistake. Next time I took my car back to them for minor repairs. in the process they broke the hinge on my driver door and it started making a loud clicking sounds when it opens. Worse than that, When I came to pick up the car, they acted as if everything was fine and opened the car door for me to get in so I would not hear the loud sound the door was making. When I got home, I realized the door is making a loud sound whenever it opens and took the car back to them. They denied any wrong doing and refused to repair my car door. My third bad experience was when I took the car to them to check an oil leak. I asked that they put fluorescent dye in the engine so that to to be able to tell whether it is engine oil or transmission fluid.although the fluid looked like engine oil, which I later verified by taking the car to another car repair garage, the mechanic at auto works insisted that the it was a transmission fluid and he suggested that I take the car to a transmission shop that he knows and recommended in Tempe. I doubted what he said, so I took the car to another car repair garage and looked at the dripping myself with the mechanic there using UV light and indeed it was engine oil. This lead me to think one of two things, either those guys at Mesa auto works do not what they are doing, or they wanted to mislead me to think that it was transmission fluid to rip me off by having me spend money on expensive transmission repairs that I did not need. I would not have written this long review unless I truly believe that those guys at mesa auto works are not reliable and cannot be trusted. I hope future customers read this note and change their minds about taking their car to Mesa auto works.

This shop has saved my family thousands of dollars as other places have started to upsell their services and act like something that may be a small problem is actually a big problem and scare you into spending a fortune to fix it. Absolutely love this place!

I have had the pleasure of doing business with this shop for a few years now. My wife has been using them for years also so they came extremely highly reccomneded as you can probably tell from all the positive reviews (I’m assuming the negative reviews are from people that think they went to Mesa auto works and actually went somewhere else instead and did no fact checking before posting a terrible review...which let me just say is ridiculous and irresponsible). My most recent visit was again another consistently great experience Stans crew is always 100% professional and friendly. And they explain things to customers and never perform unauthorized work. They are the best deal In town that I have found that is also high quality, what a deal!!! This is the only shop I’ll ever use, and will gladly have my vehicles towed their. I get updates from them promptly when they’ve diagnosed the issue and and the service is also super fast. I couldn’t say enough great things about this shop. If you go anywhere else you’re definitely gambling, but if ou want great service, high quality work, and a smoking deal. Go see Stan and the guys down at Mesa Autoworks. It’s a locally family owned business that you can trust.
