Use to love this store. Untill I walked in a smelled mold and mildew. Im highly allergic to it not even 4mins in the store my throat started feeling itchy. My lips felt swelled. Told the clerk he just laughed and said dollar general dont care. Its been reported several times

Its the only market north of the barge canal but by their service and variety of products, youd think they have lots of competition because they are super great! Really appreciate the friendly helpful staff and the convenient hours. Its like a giant convenience store with super cheap prices. What a blessing to North Merritt Island!

It has a nice selection of pretty much almost anything you can think of. Overall clean and a great quick place to stop and shop.

Stopped for bandages, water and snacks on the way to check into Best Western after visit to Kennedy Space Center to see SpaceX launch.

How sad! I trusted this store to do business until today! You’ve raised yours prices in every essential item people buy. If you think just adding ten cents increase on items is okay it is NOT! How dare you do this to people right now? People are getting laid off and you’re profiting off the virus? Completely sick and unacceptable. I’m going to start an online petition to have your store cited by the government for this practice! Disgusting!!!!!!

No batteries.. no propane available.. instead of putting a sign by the door or at the propane tank outside for customer to know in advance. No ice .. hardly nothing in reference to hurricane Dorian supplies. The clerk advise that Ace hardware had batteries. Arrived and nope! False information. So if they know people are looking for this items please have consideration and put up a sign by the door. It will be gladly appreciate it.

Bought propane here and it was very easy. Also was able to find some items that I havent been able to find in the bigger stores since the pandemic arrived.

This is a great store! In the past few months there has been some issues inside the store as the staff were concerned. The store was in shambles, things not stocked, isles blocked by rolltainers filled with freight and so many different faces every day. I have to say that in the past few weeks this store has had a major overhaul with the staff and product available. Since Yvonne and her Crew left this store you could see a huge difference in everything day by day. Now this store is under New Management with store manager being John from the South Courtenay store, assistant Diana, shift manager Erin. They have all worked very hard to turn this store back into what it shouldve been. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The store is clean and well stocked so that you can get the things you came for.So I just want to put this out there for those of you who dont shop here because of a bad situation or any issues in the past to give it another shot and go back in to check out the compete makeover from the staff to the product on the floor and I assure you that you will not be disappointed. Great job after 17121 on cleaning the store up and getting it running the way it should be!

This store is the perfect addition to North Merritt Island. For 17 years families have had to drive 20 minutes to get to the closest grocery store, sometimes almost 40 minutes if the barge canal was going up due to a boat. Having this store out in North Merritt Island makes it so much easier to go and grab the little things you forgot when doing your regular Grocery shopping. They have most everything you need and at such great prices. Sign up for their Digital Coupons to save even more. I think they shouldve made this store a Marketplace the instead of a regular Dollar General especially since its the only retail store there is in North Merritt Island. Maybe eventually they will see that it should upgrade to the Marketplace and they would make much more money as well as have many more customers on a daily basis.

Needed eggs and it was super convenient.

As with most of my visits to any Dollar General, I knew what I needed so it was easy to find since most stores are laid out the same. They always have good deals so its easy on the wallet. Sometimes they can be short handed staff wise so chech out can be slow but overall a positive experience.

Dollar General Store on Courtenay Pkwy, in N Merritt Island. I love this store!!! I had not been to the other Dollar General Store very often, until this store opened 3 minutes from my home. I frankly dont know how I ever survived without it! This store has probably saved me $500 dollars in gas just since it opened!!! I dont have to drive over the barge canal (hoping not to get caught at the bridge going up) which used to add 10 to 15 min to a trip that already took 15-20 mins! The always seem to have the last minute item I need, whether it is milk, butter, band aids, or dog food they have saved me time, has and aggravation! The employees at this store are just FANTASTIC. Since I stop the almost every day for one thing or another the girls have become like friends. They are all very helpful, friendly out going, and I dont know how they remember exactly where every item is, but they do! They can tell you exactly, and take you right to what your looking for! A great group of employees with great senses of humor, and caring!!!
