I love stopping by Russel Stovers Chocolate in Shawnee, Kansas to curb my sweet tooth. I also love this shop if I have a client who loves sweets. You have your choice of various truffles, candy, chocolate and even various flavors of ice cream, just to name a few. The staff is always friendly and I love the holiday options as the seasons change. Super cute little shop.

Always has a great assortment of chocolates, fudge, ice cream and caramel apples. Disappointed the company has closed the factory that made my favorite pecan fudge logs. I tried that years ago while living in Illinois. That was the reason I started visiting the store in the first place. You can join their frequent buyers club and earn free chocolate. Usually has a free sample or two of items to try. Limited seating, clean restrooms, helpful staff.

Chocolate heaven! And for people with diabetes... Also chocolate heaven. Russell Stover sugar free chocolates and other SF candy actually tastes good now! And even better, they use Stevia. Im not a health nut, but the health nuts say Stevia is natural and SO much better for you than the chemical sweeteners used in most other sugar free products. Personally, I dont care as long as it tastes like normal regular sugar chocolate, which Russell Stover with Stevia does!

This is an almost overwhelming collection of Russell Stover chocolates, fudge and ice cream. We take out of town visitors here! This visit we noticed shelves of what they call bloopers, seconds of their chocolates that didnt meet their requirements of shape, for reduced prices. There were also their sugar-free candy as bloopers. Russell Stover also has a rewards program.

Only buy ice cream, now. Use to shop there untill I got diabetes. It is a very nice store. Yummy sweets. Great for Xmas and Easter.

Nice person working the register, very helpful, clean, and a good variety of chocolates. The reason I didnt give a 5 star is because no mask worn by the employee.

Selection has been better on other visits…but there are still a lot of chocolates to choose from. Staffing was short too. Large sugar free chocolate and candy selection.

They didnt have the chocolates my friend gets at his TAMPA store, as its an outlet. The ice cream seems to be popular & a big seller for this store in Shawnee. I love their candy & will get some again.

Amazing selection. Awesome staff. Only thing I was disappointed in was waiting at the drive up with no response. No one was there. But the lady was by herself so no harm no foul. Great worker who was doing her best!

Customer service was attentive and very friendly. And the product was very tasty. Look forward to maybe going there again. Only reason I say maybe is Im not that big on sweets.

I needed pecan rolls! Unfortunately I was informed that theyve been discontinued. I bought candy anyway!

I love the Russell Stover French Mints but the stores have been out of them most of the time when I go. Not impressed with some of the store clerks lately. They act like they don’t really like helping the customers. Service with a smile would be a good start. And the shelves were so bare last time. I do hope to find the French Mints (not sugar free) next time I venture to one of the stores.

I purchased a bunch of bargain candy. It still tastes the same no matter the shape. Delicious

Very friendly and helpful employees and great chocolates as always. The Chocolate Covered Strawberries plentiful and good. The Caramel Apples were amazing - crisp, tasty apples and the caramel and nuts were fresh and delicious. Russell Stover is a tradition with our family for every holiday, but especially Valentines Day!

Very rude lady working. It was 2 days after Valentines Day. I was getting something for my daughter and I asked how much an unmarked box of candy was. She was very put out to even have to check. I said Im sorry to bother you and she snapped at me that she just couldnt hear me. It seems as if she heard me just fine since she snapped at me. Then she said she couldnt find it in the system, put it back and said its not for sale. The same box was in a few locations that I could see. I should have left buy I really wanted something for my daughter. I decided on something and a nice young man came out from the back who she made some nasty comment to for not being out there at first and he rang me up. Ive never found the people at that store friendly but this was beyond unacceptable. Never again. I miss the Fairway store and Ill just get my candy elsewhere from now on.

We used the drive thru, which was very convenient. Treats we ordered were very good. I was disappointed that despite ordering dark chocolate covered strawberries, I was given milk chocolate covered, which I didnt realize until I got home. I think the prices are a bit high. Carmel apple was excellent.

Nick at the front was so sweet! I skinned my knee outside, I walked in, he saw it and offered me a bandage (no request required). Marshall was also so helpful during my visit. My kid loves Carmel Apples now.Ill be coming back again soon!

I checked in about 6pm on a Thursday, on an impulse, to see if they had an item I knew my mother would love. Id never visited this shop before. There were lots of prepackaged options, but what i was after for my mother could only be found in the case. I approached the case and looked around for an associate. A middle aged woman caught my glance and started toward me. I began to speak to her, but she cut me off and asked me to wait until she was closer. When she was nearer, I asked how long items in the case would keep. The holiday is a few weeks away and I wanted to learn if I was purchasing Christmas candy too early. She asked me which item. I said I wasnt sure yet, but was there a range of time the candies might stay fresh tasting. She repeated her question, well I need to know which item. I started to explain what I was thinking about Christmas and she cut me off and said the strawberries are only good a few days, but you could get a few weeks out of these and those (gesturing to different parts of the case), and packages have expirations on them. I acknowledged her answering my initial question and then noticed that the white chocolate version of the item I was looking for was sold out. I asked when a good time to come back for them might be and was again answered in a way that left me feeling like a dumb, pain in her rear. Apparently they are out of pretzels and dont know when they will get more pretzels so she could have no idea when I should come back. I politely thanked her for her time and swiftly departed. I will not be back. Shortages are understandable during a pandemic, but talking to someone in the exasperated way that she addressed me, when I was trying to be polite and efficient with my communication, was the deal breaker. It was a bummer.

Im my opinion, Russell Stovers chocolate is the absolute best! Whether you like milk chocolate or dark chocolate you will love it! The store in Shawnee, KS has super friendly staff! Go buy some today! They even have caramel apples and chocolate dipped strawberries! Yum! Ive tried many different well known chocolates, and I continue to come back to Russell Stovers!

Chocolate covered strawberries were excellent. Nick was extremely helpful on the phone with details. Used the drive thru to pickup, my wife loved the strawberries and the box they came in. I love the friendly atmosphere here. The free sample when you come in is always so kind and thoughtful. We love coming by for an evening ice cream treat. Their ice cream is amazing! I love supporting this local company rich in Kansas City history!

I love Russell Stover Candies.When I was a little boy in the 1970s,my mother always bought a Pecan Roll Light Chocolate Butter creams or a scoop of Chocolate ice and a scoop of Orange Sherbet.these were two of her favorite candies. I have memories of her every time I go in there.She frequented here until last October when she passed away.I will continue to shop here because of their good candy selections. I love the Pecan Delights(so did Momma) and the Boxed chocolate covered nuts variety. Taste and great service are why theyre a family favorite. I have to add wonderful memories as another reason to stay with Russell Stover. I recommend it.Youll have great memories too.

Came here on Valentines Day, was happy with what I got and went home. Turns out the Vanilla Cremes I got had gone bad. Brought them back and Nick switched them out for me no problem. Highly recommend! Good selection as well.

Delicious candies, ice cream and treats. I got the chocolate covered strawberries. Fabulous! Theyll give you a sample of a candy just for coming in. They also have a rewards card.

Friendly and delicious. We had their fancy truffles... For those that dont know, they make some higher class stuff that dont come in the boxes you see eat the store. They also have a gigantic selection of stuff you wouldnt normally see including a big sugar free section

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate galore. This store is amazing. The cashier was amazing. He suggested a few treats after he found out what I like. Let me tell you, he did an awesome job because I ate every piece. And the Carmel apple is to die for. Certainly not a place for a dieter.

This store is no longer stocked like it used to be. Covid has apparently done a number on their production. Also the staff is not as friendly as I remember them to be. I won’t be returning.

This place is paradise! All types of chocolates, caramel apples, ice cream, and seasonal treats! The specials and deals are great! We were greeted with samples and were never disappointed from that point on.

Naturally, everything here is delicious. They now have new boxes that say Congratulations! or Welcome, baby! etc. Which is cool, because they are the perfect gifting size. Also new, fill your own bag/box with assorted candies and chocolates and pay by the pound! I love their mess-ups bags. Same fabulous chocolates for less. Who cares what it looks like if you are the one eating it! And the people in here are always cool. 🙂

The assistant manager, the only person working at the time, was sincerely friendly and helpful. He seemed to care if we found what we were wanting and this was the best customer service experience I have had in a very long time. Thank you!

This was the Hubbys first time in this store & he said it was a great experience while in this shop!!! The employees & their service was great. The chocolates were delicious. This was our first time trying the Chocolate Covered Strawberries. They were huge, fresh, and juicy! Well definitely be back for more of those ❤

We should have gone there for gifts for coworkers and neighbors, especially the Sugarfree selections. We are going back there for gifts throughout the years. While you there, get some ice cream! 😊

Please, leave your credit card home if you are either on a budget or a diet! Their chocolate is not the best in the world, but it is fresh and its tasty. They have caramel apples it seems, all the time. They also have ice cream and all kinds of goodies, not just chocolate candy. There sugar free candies are surprisingly good.

Ive had rude service here before but came back this afternoon cause I promised my kids ice cream after school. There were FIVE people working behind the counter and no one even acknowledged our presence in the almost 10 minutes we were in the store despite me actually saying Were ready to order if youre ready. Incredible. Who ignores two little kids excited to have some ice cream?

Just love walking through and seeing everything they have. Wish my store hadnt closed down because Id be in a lot more often.

Good selection of chocolates and gifts. Service was great. And very friendly.

The ice cream was great. The service, not so much. When I walked in, one of the staff had to get up off of the counter he was sitting on. It seemed to me that I was not as important as the conversation he was involved in with a co-worker. I walked out thinking I was less than a valued customer.

They have great shakes here. They also sell chocolate from what I hear. Couldnt tell you for sure. My eyes go tunnel vision to the shakes that make my belt work overtime. ( Dont feel bad for my belt. It had a good run.)

The woman working the register was very disrespectful and rude towards me and family I had come in from out of town. I don’t normally leave reviews but this was such a terrible experience I felt I needed to. I would honestly not recommend going to this location at all.

Greeted by sales person and given free sample as I walked in to store. Specifically told if I had any questions be sure to ask. I was asked an additional time while I was in store if I needed assistance and at check out. They know how to make customers smile. My fave is their Amaretto Truffle! Bet you can only eat one! So rich and delicious. Only criticism is I think their Jelly Belly prices are too high ($30 for a bag can catch you by surprise).

They have a HUGE selection of confections, ice cream and chocolate-dipped fruits. Staff is extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Every time Im in the store, everyone has a smile and a warm greeting.

This is a very nice chocolate and ice cream shop. They have a large selection, the place is immaculate and the staff is both friendly and helpful. I was looking for a better selection of chocolate covered nuts than they offer, which is the only reason I didnt give them 5 stars.

They have ice cream here that is about $3 cheaper then the high-end ice cream places around Kansas the ice cream here is pretty good I like having it every once in awhile its a good price for what you get

Friendly folks that help without being pushy. You can find items here that they dont stock in other retail locations. This location also had ice cream and other delicious treats like fudge pretzels carmeled apples and chocolate covered strawberries.

The best chocolates around! Wanted a soda while I was shopping. Came in hot & tired. Employee thought I should go ahead and pay for my soda before shopping. Classy looking little store not a very classy way to treat customers. We are not all dishonest thieves. I had already laid 3 boxes of chocolates on your counter and wanted to shop for more. Hmmmm

You will be received with a really warm welcome and a sample chocolate, the store is filled with all kinds of chocolate and they have an Ice Cream counter. Prices are very reasonable for the gourmet chocolates you are buying. Right now they have buy 2 boxes get the 3rd free and, if you sign up for the membership and spend $10, you get a free box of chocolate.
